My favorite scene from the episode Nationwide Manhunt. Amanda is pissed, again, & takes on the new vending machine, again. Round 2 was even better than the first round in the season opener. Carisi trying to be all nice as usual (but he seriously needs to stop dropping his sister in to every episode). Amanda put in to words how I feel about the baby mama drama, it does not have to change her & I hope she'll keep her spunk. I would not mind that vending machine making another appearance this season, great foil for Amanda.

Rollins’ Baby Daddy: The Facts

I’ve gone full Law and Order on this to try to narrow down the possibilities of the father of Rollins’ baby. I am using only facts from the episodes, as well as statements from Leight and Giddish. Let’s break it down…

When Rollins starts getting morning sickness it is June 3 (as stated when they visit Yates in prison), if we apply that it usually kicks in week 6 of pregnancy then the baby was conceived around the 22nd of April.

So what was going on at that time? Well Yates was in being tried in the Chicago PD Crossover on April 15-16, which I’m including in the possible conception time as it can vary. Rollins spent time with Yates, Voight and Halstead as well as the usual cast throughout the episode- though nothing seemed particularly fishy.

At the start of Perverted Justice it was April 20, and April 29 at the end of the episode, Rollins doesn’t spend a great deal of time with anyone outside of the squad room… Noah’s baptism service thing was attended by Carisi and Amaro but nothing seemed out of the ordinary once again.

The beginning of Surrendering Noah was on April 27th which is within the scope, in the days close to this Rollins goes on two trips with Carisi (work based of course) and they meet Barba at a hospital… and once again nothing seems weird.

So here’s my rundown on the possible suspects:

Nick Amaro- Not the father according to Warren and Kelli (and stated by Rollins)

Fin Tutuola- Possible but not likely.

Sonny Carisi- Possible, but if he was the father he would have been more shocked finding out that she was pregnant.

Rafael Barba- Once again, possible, there is no evidence for or against.

Declan- Went back undercover in February but something may have happened off screen.

Nate- Some people have suggested him but Warren said something about Thomas Sadowski and his portrayal of Nate and then said… ‘and we’ve seen one other person with whom she had great chemistry and that’s where we went.’

Yates- Possible, they do have a weird thing going on but it never seems romantic/sexual. Rollins would not be that stupid and I think it unlikely to have Rollins raped again.

Voight and Halstead- Both spent time with Rollins in the crossover episodes but nothing hinted to any romance/sex. Rollins is absent when everyone goes for drinks at the end of the episode.

So, overall my 2 picks are either Declan or Barba- as they are the only two I can see fitting with the quote ‘great chemistry’ but it is not without reasonable doubt.

You’re missing the most obvious suspect - detective Dumas. He’ll be in both ep4 & 5. I still keep hoping it’s Murphy’s though, that would make it much messier but Donal is “stuck” on Gotham so it will probably be Dumas. Warren spoke of chemistry but I didn’t see any between Dumas & Amanda in the two short scenes they shared. But then again I often don’t see eye to eye with Warren.

And I don’t think you can sorta “do the math” here, I mean in this case. It wouldn’t be the first time SVU went off the timeline. She was probably with Nick until he left, went out drinking or something to drown her sorrows and ended up having a one-night-stand with Dumas. He’s shown interest before and Amanda, well she might’ve just been drunk and he was available. If he’s one of the detectives in the hot seat in ep5 and goes to jail, Amanda will def be a single mom.

Either way I just hope there won’t be any more baby drama on SVU. S16 had enough of baby drama for a lifetime imo. And I’m sorta sad Amanda is having a baby cause it will most likely straighten her out and I prefer “my” Amanda dysfunctional ;)

I think it’s real fucked up that people give Mariska/Olivia shit for seeing Noah a lot (which I don’t think is a problem) but watch when Kelli/Amanda ’s baby get here those same people are going to suddenly think it’s okay for her baby to be thrown on screen all the time. I love them both , both are badasses, both are gorgeous, and I’m happy for them both. My point is don’t be a fucking rude ass hypocrite. Don’t suddenly think it’s okay because you have a certain fav. I don’t know about the rest of you but I want some play dates with Noah and Rollins baby and the last thing I want to hear/see is petty ass arguing from a bunch of hypocrtical assholes about seeing cute kids for like a minute of a fourty minute show(without commercials).

I only associate with KG and/or AR fans and none of us wants to see any more baby drama on the show. All the Benoah drama of last season has most of us fed up with it so even though this baby will belong to our favorite character we don’t want baby drama. I certainly not. And I don’t expect them to go there either. Warren obviously fangirls over MH, and MH only. AR was raped and even that only got 1 episode so I don’t expect us to see much of this baby, which is fine by me. It is fun to speculate who the father is though :)

What I find fucked up is the “fans” that wants Amanda’s baby dead. Now that is seriously fucked up even though it’s a fictional baby. And the reason for wanting it dead is only cause they hate KG/AR and/or they are afraid baby will steal MH light. I’m not sure this fandom has enough compassion to ever be united. It’s really sad.

After a night’s sleep I’m leaning more towards Det Dumas as WL & I often disagree. He see chemistry, I see shameless flirting from Dumas. Yeah that sounds about right. Dumas is a likely candidate for baby daddy as he will guest star very soon.

My theory: Amanda’s baby has to be Declan’s! I swear Warren hinted the baby is someone she has had great chemistry with and i cannot think of anyone Kelli has ever been so hot with on screen except Donal. Gambler’s fallacy was proof of that fire..I called the ship first and i call the baby a #declanda product and i pray i am right!! Mark my words!

Yesterday after watching the show I was totally with you, Murphy is baby daddy. But after a night's sleep I'm leaning more towards Det Dumas again (he was a candidate when I saw him in a BTS photo), Winters Jr will guest star very soon & Donal is stuck on Gotham. I'm still hoping it will be Murphy though cause that would make it very messy & I like messy :) And also we would see more of Donal who is just amazing. They could always say he was deep in UC and it would explain his absence until he can get time off from Gotham to guest star. Obviously I would’ve preferred it being Nick’s (or even Fin’s but Ice denied it on Twitter) but I get why that is not a good call as Pino is def out.  I can’t wait for ep6 and meeting mom and sis. I have a feeling Amanda lied to Liv about her mom moving up, if she don’t even go home for holidays I can’t see her wanting her mom there 24/7. We will see

Judging by WL’s article my guess is Murphy. I can’t really think of anyone else Rollins had great chemistry with except Nate (I know many don’t agree with me about him but I loved the dysfunction she had with him & what it says about her own view on herself by getting it on with him). And I don’t think they would make it Barba’s either.

Making it Murphy’s lead up to a whole other set of questions though. Are we talking seeking compassion after Amaro left? Or are we touching on Murphy’s own “blindspot for men in power”? It does get a little Patton creepy to me but it would also be a way in for Liv to finally address Rollins never really dealing with her rape. There’s a survivor story here that the SVU writers keep ignoring and it bugs me so much.

I wish Donal Logue could join SVU fulltime but as long as he’s on Gotham it won’t work. Declan Murphy is deep UC though so it would work as making him absent. If he turns out to be baby daddy though I hope he will at least guest star at some point and if he won’t step up, not even sure Rollins would want that, he should at least acknowledge the baby. Something Nick certainly would’ve done which also makes it impossible for him to be baby daddy as Pino chose to leave. I would’ve loved for it to be a Rollaro baby, making it possible for Pino to guest star, but even though it’s hard I can see why it wouldn’t have worked out good for either character.

Just my 5 cents on the matter, pls don’t shot me

Edited to add: Det Dumas (Scott William Winters) is a very possible candidate as he will be guest staring in an upcoming ep. That would, again, be something WL & I don’t see eye to eye on. In the two short scenes they’ve shared over the seasons I haven’t seen much chemistry, all I’ve seen is shamelessy flirting from Dumas. But as already mentioned I don’t agree often with WL so Dumas is def a likely candidate as baby daddy. I would prefer Murphy though as it would leave it a whole lot more messy and I like messy.

“My life is perfect” ?? Are they actually making her say this? I’m so angry at this show for not even acknowledging she was raped. It’s so disrespectful to victims/survivors out there & I just don’t understand why more fans aren’t upset about this. It’s not okay for a show that’s supposed to be about special victims to try and pretend that 2 weeks at a yoga retreat will ‘cure’ being raped. Every victim deals with rape in different ways but there is no way Amanda is just fine after what she’s been through. This show lost all my respect this season.
