I made Legend an Al-Mi’raj cuz their gimmick is cool as fuck. Anything that lays eyes on one runs away in terror and i think thats really funny when he’s just a little unicorn rabbit.

His brothers are either used to it or immune

So delighted about the love for my zora OCs!! Thank you everyone that liked the post and added such encouraging tags ilu 💜 I Finally had some time to revisit Rudo; both to give a proper try to the tentacle “dreads” style hair that only existed in the full body concept roughs earlier and try a couple options for colour palettes. Gold eyes is for sure locked in but coat…. Hm

Decorating the tentacles with metalwork is incredibly fun but I think the look of the mohawk fin is just more striking?? It’s a hard choice tho cuz the lack of ears is a little odd lookin even if I had some frilly fin sorta bits in that area. But the feeling the two styles give is just super different.

And to answer this one, Rudo and Kevel (current but not locked in name for Zora 2, the exhausted soldier/guard. I’ve decided against mercenary) in their “canons” have almost certainly never met. Probably. That said, there's a scenario... (Elaborating on this answer turned out longer than it looked in the draft so I'm putting it under a cut)

Rudo has been kicking in my head for a long time and was conceptualized as a character for Link to win over and gain the respect of, eventually becoming an ally (okay, and maybe more…) and letting him have access to the pirate hideout (where there could be, among other things, this cool shop that let you sell stuff for above market value (specific items that change every once and a while, like a daily special) or get ripped off if you had never learned what the value of your items was lol. I spent a long time thinking about this shop ok I had to write it somewhere) and Kevel just kinda happened when I realized some of my scrapped design concepts for Rudo fit super well into a second coherent character.

As a character, what I have about Kevel is thinking about him letting out a soft little chuckle and the crinkle of his tired eyes when something actually manages to surprise and amuse him despite how "in 5 minutes it'll be 3 hours until it's 1 hour until my shift is over" he is. Whether he’s got night/dawn shift with an overly chatty partner, or his assignment is protecting the nursery ponds despite having no skills with children, or he’s the one stuck with his branch’s accounting I dunno. Maybe he’s just assigned to guard some spot that he thinks makes no sense to guard but has been refused reassignment. But he’s too new in my head for me to have a role for him.

Because of this I had a struggle time when thinking of him and Kevel having a shared history, even tho Kevel wouldn’t exist without Rudo so it’d be really really cool if they had a connection, because—

Okay listen. If these two know each other they’re absolutely in a messy situationship and Rudo caused the injury to Kevel’s head fin flap thing. Kevel, for all his “I don’t get paid enough for this horseshit” energy, equally hates the guy and can’t help but find that hatred thrilling. Lots of “we’ve got to stop meeting like this” when they run into one another because Kevel’s “bad luck” keeps putting him in places that the pirates raid. In that universe Rudo is probably a lot more callous and “evil pirate” because getting a rise out of Kevel is addicting he isn’t meant to be an eventual ally like in “canon”.

Ya’ll I’m nervous for MW4😭🙏 I loved Price he was amazing and I’m hella worried for what happened to them- THEY DON’T EVEN SHOW KYLE!? LIKE HELLO!? Also ya’ll think they’re gonna at least show off Roach? AKA Gary Sanderson? Maybe? Perhaps?

It’s crazy too cause I even thought “Man if Ghost is chasing after Price Johnny -” and then I remembered. And my mind went blank cause bruh if I went through that I don’t wanna know how Ghost is handling it especially since he wore Johnny’s scarf.

Sexy OC Showcase: Fjord

And my second entry for the SFW category with Fjord for the Sexy OC Showcase hosted by @gargoylesister

Just like Zalfe's I chose the heat prompt and had Fjord cooling off from he Red Sands desert heat in a river! Just like Zalfe's entry I experimented with my shading playing especially with volume shading and lighting.

Working on both of these was a delight and I live streamed both entries with permission so that people could also see and learn my process!
