context: guo changcheng’s voice in guardian isn’t xin peng’s real voice! he’s dubbed over for the entire show by a voice actor, haha
since people were curious about xin peng’s (guo changcheng’s actor’s) real voice + livestream translations — here’s an (adorable) post ep-25 (the episode with the personality switch) livestream, with both xin peng + jiang mingyang’s live.
also, if you haven’t seen the press conference where they discuss their character’s promo poster taglines (video is subbed), this is worth watching for jiang mingyang’s lines alone (my translation is slightly different but it’s mostly the same as the vid’s): “staying by someone’s side is the longest-lasting confession. [smiles as the crowd screams] to lao chu, losing his brother was something he never let go of — until xiao guo’s appearance, which gave my life meaning again. if it’s possible, i hope that in this life, i can take care of him forever, accompanying him and growing with him together.”
maybe i’ll come back to this later to provide some translations at relevant timestamps, but it’s good enough for now if you just want to hear xin peng’s voice, haha. the general gist of the stream though: xin peng is Very Excited that he’s finally manly, for once. jiang mingyang, as usual, is just Excited.
