I don’t usually do this and send links for purchasing items but this is for a very good cause, this is a red dead redemption two fan zine based solely on Javier, ALL of the profits go towards La Raza an anti ice organization for legal help for any detainees and family effected. I know a few other people in here like RDR/RDR2 as much as me so I’d like to put this here. The minimum donation is 2.99 for a standard zine and 4.99 for a special edition with extra goodies. You also have a chance to win a standard or special edition physical copy with tons of goodies. Even if you don’t like RDR it’s a great cause to donate to if you have the extra cash. Non scottish authors writing scottish characters please hear my plead 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

need to rant about a non issue for a sec, im scottish for clarification before i begin guys

In the modern warfare fandom, so i read alot of fics where soap is there naturally!! All i can say is please speak to a scottish person or do research before trying to write us into a fic or story where our identity is relevant. Im not saying everyone does this but ive had a few experiences where its just straight up a stereotype 💔

when im reading a fic or like headcanons on tik tok or something, I can clearly tell an author or OP whos writing a scottish character has NO idea what theyre doing and hasnt bothered to research anything regarding their identity and is clearly stereotyping 😭

Like no we dont walk into a room with a can of irn bru, start guzzling haggis down our pus whilst playing the bagpipes and screaming scotland forever and verbally abusing whoever is closest.

and if I as a scottish person dared to correct im scared ill get strung up by my nonexistent balls and boiled alive for daring to say how they've written us is a stereotype.
