can we please just talk about marecal in glass sword? i mean, the relationship. the way they just get closer and closer. when he holds her hand to soothe her, knowing, understanding that she needs someone to hold on to, to keep her from falling over the edge. or when mare knows that she needs cal, just his presence to make her feel safe. or how cal is alright with letting mare sleep with him, when he knows she can see him at his worst. the way they trust each other, but don’t. the way they understand each other, accept each other in a way no one else can. this, guys, this is the relationship i want.
