Piscesgender: A gender that is composed of strong feelings and passion. It is a cluster of many gender identities.

nonbinary is a complete gender. you can be just nonbinary. you really don’t have to align yourself any more specifically than that

you don’t have to find the perfect just right word for your experience, you don’t have to parse out what named gender you’re closest to on a spectrum, what subset of nonbinary most closely reflects your truth, weigh your masculinity against your femininity against your androgyny to see what the total comes out to, you don’t have to label your gender by its relation or opposition to the gender you were assigned

all those things are great for exploring your gender & if you can find a home in them more power to you

but you don’t have to. you really can just be nonbinary

Fact #734: Genderfluidity doesn’t have to include binary genders. There are plenty of genderfluid people whose genders are fluid only between nonbinary ones. So trying to represent genderfluidity only as “sometimes a man, sometimes a woman” is not good enough.

Nymhs (noun. nym) - A gender which exists but is nebulous or undefined.

Nymhs, derived from both nimbus and nebula, refers to a gender which exists but is nebulous in nature - definitely present but indistinct and unable to be defined in any more exact light. Drawing from this meaning the flag is loosely based off of Saturn and colors often seen associated with space, nebulousness, or lack of form. (fun fact: it can also be seen to resemble a stage of the formation of a protostar from a nebula but that’s less commonly known)

Also aiming to reduce ‘othering’ and increase accessibility to children in particular this gender can be referred to using both the adjective form ‘nymhs’ (e.g. ‘I identify as nymhs’ or ‘a nymhs individual’) and the noun form of ‘nym’ (e.g. ‘I’m a nym’) in the same way one may say either ‘I identify as female’ or ‘I am a girl’.

I couldn’t find the original definition, but I have IDed with the term quite a bit in the past, and if I remember correctly it refers to a gender that is influenced by/connected to/travels through time

It’s so strange and frustrating...

...when anyone asserts that nonbinary identities and lesser-known orientations aren’t real. Or when they say some are real, but others are not. Like how do you decide that? Where’s the line? It’s arbitrary and often influenced by racism, ableism, intersexism, etc. (of course there are legitimate lines, like white people shouldnt ID as two-spirit and stuff like that, but that’s not what I’m talking about right now) Also on a personal note, I’m evainsgender and many things in life influence my gender, and also if I read/hear about a gender I don’t have but could be, I will *literally* turn into that gender, if not immediately I will eventually. I look up definitions to share all the time. So it’s maddening when people list some genders as real, and then others as not, and meanwhile I’m sitting here going, “I know those are real because I’VE LITERALLY BEEN ALL THOSE.” I feel so torn in half when some of my non/genders get some recognition while others just get mocked and erased.

an orientation that changes. For example, an abro person may be attracted to women one day, men and nonbinary ppl the next, no attraction the next, etc.

Demigender: A gender identity that feels partially like one gender and partially like some other gender.

Neutrois: A non-binary gender identity which is considered to be a neutral or null gender.

Hello! Thank you very much for that aceflux post, it was exactly what I've been looking for! I have a question. Is there a term/flag for a gender which changes depending on the specific situations? Like being 'normally' agender but 'switching' in girl when getting close with a boy, or switching in a boy when surrounded by too many girls, or feeling like both when lonely - and coming back to agender when complete and happy? Does 'genderfluid' apply here or? I mean it's oddly specific switches...

Hi! You’re very welcome, I’m glad it was helpful. :D There are a few terms that may be useful to you, hopefully you’ll find one that fits you best. :)

Condigender: A gender that is only felt under specific circumstances; can apply to any existing gender such as girl, boy, non-binary, etc. For example, a condigirl may only feel like a girl during specific times or with specific people, a condiboy may only feel like a boy during specific times or with specific people, so on.

This is the general Condigender flag

Mutogender:  A subset of genderfluid; describes when your gender changes depending on your situation.

Some more specific examples of this could be Aerogender or Evaisgender / Evainsgender / Locugender

Aerogender: Where an individual’s gender relies highly on their setting and/or atmosphere, which can be composed of a great number of things (ex. who they’re around, their level of comfort, the temperature, the weather, the time of day/year, etc.)

Evaisgender/Evainsgender/Locugender: A fluid gender that’s easily influenced by things, thoughts and beings around it, thus it tends to change a lot, even within a single day.

And finally, I also found the term Situational Genderfluid; someone who is situationally genderfluid moves between genders based on their environment. As a subsection of genderfluid, it implies a pattern. It’s the first time I’ve seen that term, but it could also be useful. There is not a flag for it, however.

Some people like really broad labels, like genderqueer, and that’s okay.

Some people like really specific labels, like condigender bigenderfluidflux between demimaverique and juxera, and that’s okay.

Use whatever makes you comfortable. Labels are for self-identification and communication, and however you do that is perfectly fine.
