To be fair, she's got the Cringe trait
Lynnie: "To be fair, I also never felt genuine nor connected to Grace, and she was my mother."
Shannon: "Same."
Katrina: "So yeah, Brooklyn, join us. New bestie!"
Brooklyn: "Wow, guys, thank you. I'm looking forward to having real friends! Is... is that a weird statement? Am I making it awkward?"
Marlow: "You're fine, Brook."
Brooklyn: "A nickname! How neat!"
Brooklyn: "I... oh... thank you. I'd love to go! I... I go out to a lot of parties, but recently I figured out the people I thought were friends were more... acquaintances... that I just happened to see a lot because we hit the same parties. Aside from Shannon, I don't think I have any other friends. - Unless I'm reading it wrong and we're not friends, Shannon, don't feel obliged to - "
Shannon: "No no, I'd call us friends, too. I wouldn't invite an acquaintance wedding dress shopping."
Katrina: "And you have more than one friend. I'm right here."
Marlow: "We're right here."
Brooklyn: "...Really?"
Katrina: "For sure, girl, here's my number, call or text whenever. Having been right where you are in the acquaintances vs. friends debate, I'm always down for a new friend. And if we're being truthful - I feel more connected and genuine with the girls here at this table than I do with the girls I've known for decades."
Marlow: "What about Lynnie? She's still a teen."
Lynnie: "Not for much longer! Graduation is soon! When's the party?"
Shannon: "Honey, we don't even have a wedding date set. No idea when the bachelorette will be. It will most likely be after graduation."
Katrina: "I wonder what Dec will end up doing for his Bachelor party."
Marlow: "If I had to guess? Probably fishing with Dad and Pace."
Brooklyn: "Your party plan sounds great, Katrina. I'm sure ya'll will have a lot of fun."
Katrina: "What do you mean ya'll? You're not coming?"
Brooklyn: "...I'm invited, too?"
Katrina: "I said 'just us,' not 'just us excepting Brooklyn.'"
Marlow: "So what's happening for the bachelorette party? Are we having one?"
Shannon: "Um... I hadn't really thought about it."
Katrina: "OH let me throw it!"
Lynnie: "Going to plan a drunk weekend?"
Katrina: "Not for Shannon! That's more Grace's style. It'll be just us, we'll hit a spa, get glammed up, maybe hit a club."
Shannon: "We can go to Studio PBP."
Lynnie: "Can we?? That's exclusive!"
Shannon: "So less paparazzi inside then. I'll get us in."
Katrina: " Then we can spend the night at a hotel and have a chill Sunday. Thinking maybe we go skating and then have lunch at the Fish Fry."
Katrina: "Hey! They've got a kind of cute wedding setup here."
Brooklyn: "A wedding in the city could be fun."
Shannon: "Not for us, we've got our hearts set on Tartosa."
Lynnie: "What about you, Marlow?"
Marlow: "Oh no. No wedding! Definitely just going with the flow and tying the knot when it suits us."
Katrina: "The Romance Festival is lovely for eloping. That's where Pace and I got hitched."
Lynnie: "After meeting there like an hour before."
Katrina: "It was... closer to two hours. Hey! We tied the knot when it suited us!"
Shannon: "I think I'm leaning towards this one! Hi! Shannon Moore, welcome to my wedding! Hello! Shannon van Hollow, welcome to our reception!"
Katrina: "Oh my gosh please don't do that at the wedding."
Shannon: "I do also really love the dress before this one as well, though."
Marlow: "Well you still have some time to think it over!"
Brooklyn: "Or buy both. Wear one at the ceremony, the other at reception."
Lynnie: "A valid option! You could also wear one to the rehearsal dinner, and then one for the wedding!"
Shannon: "Alright, let's get out of here. Everyone down for dinner?"
Shannon: "So I was informed they do* have a longer version of the silk dress..."
Brooklyn: "So glam!"
Katrina: "Would be better even longer, but it's still a good length and you can show off your cute shoes this way!"
Lynnie: "I love it!"
Marlow: "What do you think of all the dresses, Shannon? Did you see any you liked?"
*Did I go CC hunting in the middles of taking gown pics in hopes of finding someone lengthened this damn dress then restarted my game for it? Yes, yes I did.
Brooklyn: "Oh that's gorgeous."
Katrina: "Very."
Lynnie: "No notes."
Katrina: "...Damn it!"
Brooklyn: "What's wrong? She looks stunning!"
Katrina: "I agree, it's almost perfect. The top, the back, the fabric... but it's..."
Marlow: "Too short."
Lynnie: "Oh I wish it was longer!"
Brooklyn: "Oh!"
Katrina: "That's... lovely. It doesn't look like much, but on you, it's lovely!"
Marlow: "I love the top!"
Katrina: "And the buttons on the back."
Lynnie: "The skirt is..."
Brooklyn: "Weird. Why do they look like floral stripes??"
Lynnie: "Yes!"
Katrina: "Oh that's definitely a maybe. Especially if you wear your hair up, because the buttons on that back are gorg."
Brooklyn: "I like that one!"
Marlow: "Me too!"
Katrina: "Simple, but unique. Okay that can be a maybe."
Lynnie: "I like the back!"
Katrina: "The front is a no, though. It's not enough wow."
Marlow: "This is actually a beautiful dress... but it might be a little much for elopement. I might snag this in a different color sometime to wear around."
Brooklyn: "Too much for eloping but perfect for... everyday attire?"
Marlow: "Haha, it's the dress all in white that's too much. But the dress itself might be my style!"
Brooklyn: "Hey... if you need a witness at your elopement... I'm free."
Marlow: "...Collecting wedding invites?"
Brooklyn: "Well... kinda. I don't get many invites in general. And I think weddings are beautiful."
Marlow: "I gotcha."
