Hunter couldn’t be the least bit mad at Morgan for sneaking off to dance. After all, she was a customer favorite and got the job done every time. Leaning against the table that she’d set her tray on, he had a certain glint in his eyes as she spoke. “Yeah, yeah,” he said, waving his hand in her direction. “Don’t I pay you to pour the drinks instead of dancin’ around like some kind of country bumpkin?” His voice was lighthearted and there was no hiding the smile on his face as he asked her, knowing full well that Morgan joining in on the line dancing was much better for business than keeping her tucked behind the bar.
She grinned at Hunter, playfully sticking out her tongue as she came up to the table, her hands landing on the edges of the tray as if she was going to pick it up, not quite picking it up just yet. “Oh please, we both know you were checking out my ass as I was dancin’” she replied with a laugh. She enjoyed the night shift for this reason, to join in with the with the dancing that came with the wilder nights at the barn. She arched an eyebrow, “You gonna quit your whingin’ and come dance or just keep standing there and watching.”
