The Trickâą
The truest thing Iâve seen all day!
I want emo versions of idioms
Like, instead of ââyouâre barking up the wrong treeâ itâs âyouâre panicking at the wrong discoâ
You can lead a horse to Evanescence but you canât bring him to life
Sorry to chemically romance on your black parade
Here is the secret to fandom:
Give zero fucks about what anyone else is doing.
Seriously. I mean it. Because inevitably you will love something that no one else loves. Or you will love something that everyone loves and people will shit all over it because itâs âso trite and unimaginative and done.â Or you will love something that no one else has ever heard of. Or you will love something dark and edgy and or obscure and people will roll their eyes and say, âWhat, do you want people to think youâre dark and edgy and obscure?â
Alternatively, you will not love the thing that everyone else loves, and you will wonder what precisely is wrong with you that the sight of that thing is aggravating the shit out of you now when the whole world sings its praises as one.
People will irritate you. Theyâll irritate you with headcanons that make no sense and misinterpretations of canon. They will make the same jokes 500 times. They will overwhelm your corner of fandom with something you either are tired of hearing about or donât care about. They will post art that isnât theirs. You will meet people who think you are the greatest person ever and bombard you with messages only to wander off when they find someone new or shinier; you will meet people whom you admire and who do not really seem to notice you exist.Â
So give zero fucks about it. Seriously. Like what you like, blacklist what you need to blacklist, and ignore everything else. Be friends, play nice, enjoy it. And in the meantime, just do you. Like what you like, love what you love, and to hell with all the rest of it.Â
Running away from an abusive foster home, Emma Swan finds herself in Storybrooke. Knowing who the girl is, Madame Mayor wastes no time getting rid of the Saviour. When her methods donât work, Regina is forced to use what little magic she has in order to open a portal that will rid her of the troubling teen. But... what happens when that portal sends Emma back in time to the Enchanted Forest? Emma finds herself living in the castle with Snow and King Leopald and of course, our favorite Queen. Reginaâs feelings for the blonde begin to change as her past self bonds with the girl. To the dismay of both Mayor Mills and the Queen, Leopold begins to take a perverted interest in Emma. Will Regina be able to get the girl back to Storybrooke before itâs too late?
Shipping a gay couple on TV is like:
âpeople who leave detailed reviews on fanfiction are a gift to the worldâ
â all fanfic writers, ever, awake at ungodly hours doubting everything theyâve ever written or thought of writing until they see that one (or more, hopefully!) magical, long-ass comment that makes every bit of struggle totally and completely worth it
Honestly, people who leave reviews are a gift to the world. Doesnât matter how long or short it is.

Iâm feeling my feels!!
You know what I donât understand? Why some showrunners, writers, and celebrities alienate their lgbt viewers. Lesbian fandoms are the most ride or die groups of people Iâve ever seen. If youâre supportive, so are we. Case in point: I donât like scary movies or have any interest in the Lake Placid series, but am I going to watch and support it? You bet your ass I am, for Kat, cus she supports us. Do I preorder every movie that Sarah and Adrianna make? Yep, cus thatâs gays supporting gays. Do we buy every one of Hayley Kiyokoâs albums before hearing a single song from them? Definitely, sheâs our messiah. Did we create an entire convention to host the most supportive celebrities of the lgbt community? We sure did. When will they see that if they give us valid positive content and arenât negative towards our community weâll support the hell out of them?
every lesbian was a horse girl, a scene kid or a theatre kid. sometimes all three
i have been informed i forgot jock lesbians. if you spent all of high school in and out of sports related injuries youâre valid
i was a music lesbian thanks
i regret to inform you that you are theatre kid adjacent
I was all of these except the jock kid. I didnât want balls near me in any capacity I guess đ€·đ»ââïž
The closest weâll ever get to SQ spooning.
Maybe... but thereâs always fan fiction!
I just finished the second chapter of A Place in Time. Which is based on a prompt idea where teenage Emma ends up living in the castle with a teenage Snow, King Leopald, and Regina. Regina and Emma are instantly drawn to one another, but Regina does her best to avoid her step daughters new âfriendâ. That is until she notices that the king has taken an inappropriate interest in Emma. Iâm having SO much fun writing it, and really hope you all like it. Admittedly, this chapter takes place mostly in Storybrooke. Iâm super excited to get more into The Enchanted Forest, but I donât want to skip out on anything. I love to hear what you think, so please let me know.
So, I saw this prompt and wanted to read this story so bad that I started writing it! The prompt is as follows: Prompt: Enchanted Forest AU where Emma gets caught stealing something at the castle and 16 yr old Snow White feels bad for her and encourages her father to take Emma in. Emma is immediately attracted to Snowâs step mother and Regina in turn, finds Emma attractive too so therefore does her best to avoid her. But when the King starts taking a perverted interest in Emma, Regina steps in to save her. A Place in Time will deviate from that slightly as it takes place both in Storybrooke and the Enchanted Forest. Emma runs away from an abusive foster home in Boston. She makes her way to Maine, finding herself in an odd little town called Storybrooke. In the short amount of time there, Emma meets the Mayor, who is eager to rid the town of the juvenile delinquent. Regina opens a portal in an attempt to get rid of the Savior, but things go wrong. Emma is sent back in time to the Enchanted Forest where the Queen is still married to Leopold. Hereâs an excerpt from the first chapter: Emma had been in Maine for about two hours when the bug started to sputter. The gauges on the dash spinning as the car swerved and the headlights dimmed before shutting off completely. She nearly ran off the pavement before catching the wheel; maneuvering the vehicle off to the shoulder. It seemed as if it had gained consciousness, acting on its own accord. Emma pushed firmly on the brake, shifting the malfunctioning car into park before wiping sweaty palms against her denim clad thighs. It was a close call. My whole life is one huge close call. Emma exhaled, running a shaky hand through her unkempt hair. Green eyes squinted at the distance in front of her. Moments ago there seemed to be only darkness ahead, but now the faint twinkling of lights glowed in the distance. The blonde picked up a wrinkled map that had fallen to the floor board. She could have sworn she saw a town sign just before the bug decided to go Maximum Overdrive on her, but the map didnât indicate anything of that nature. There shouldnât have been a town for at least another fifty miles. If youâre even following the map correctly. She sighed. There was a good possibility that she was completely lost. Emma bit her lip, getting out of the car was dangerous; it would surely cause attention if anyone were to see her, but sitting in the car was just as problematic. The last thing she wanted was to appear suspicious and alert the attention of local law enforcement. Just as Emma decided she would have to hoof it towards what she could only hope was a town, the bugâs headlights flashed back on. âWhat the hellâŠ?â Emma raised her brow, palms hovering over the steering wheel as she stared at the dash. Of course, Iâd end up stealing the one possessed car on all of the east coast. Way to go Swan. Until now, the bug hadnât exhibited any mechanical problems. Sure, it might look a little worse for the wear, but it had been a real trooper since Boston. Emma brought her hands onto the steering wheel, hoping the long drive was to blame. âDonât self destruct on me now, we only have a little longer and you can rest for the night.â Holding her breath, she shifted into drive, pulling back onto the road. Maybe it was her near death experience, or something else entirely, but Emma suddenly realized the bug wasnât the only one wore out. She supposed it was a happy accident that she got lost and happened upon the town. The forest on either side of the road began to grow less dense as the blonde neared the town; quaint craftsman style houses with picket fences taking its place. Emma spotted a sign; Main Street. How curious. The blonde turned down the road, driving towards the main source of lights. It was a small strip of brick buildings pressed against one another. Most of the shops appeared to be closed for the night. Emma surveyed her options. Tucked back from the main thoroughfare there appeared to be what she assumed was a bar. The Rabbit Hole, a small sign hung over a single door. Definitely not Swan. You donât need anymore trouble. No, as fun as the name might indicate, the last thing Emma needed was to draw attention to herself. Shaking her head, she moved on. Lights glowed from the window of an odd looking antique store. Goldâs Pawn Shop. Emma shivered, a tingle running down her spine. She inched the bug past the building, spying a few cars parked on the side of the road ahead of her. A retro neon sign hung above; Grannyâs Diner. A red arrow flashed, pointing towards a small house seemingly converted into a restaurant. The blonde pulled to the side, parking behind an old model truck. This was good. A little diner where she could get something cheap to eat and stay off the radar. Maybe sheâd be lucky and figure out where she was exactly. Emma pushed open the door to the small cafĂ© causing a chime to ring overhead. The blonde froze, her skin reddening as every head in the restaurant turned towards her. Conversations seemed to cease as she made her way to a booth in the back corner. Emma couldnât reach her table fast enough; moving in a slow, underwater fashion. The action took on an odd dream like quality. First a possessed car, now this. Maybe Iâve entered the twilight zone. âHey! How are you?â Emma had barely sat down before she heard the bubbly voice next to her. Tilting her head, eyebrows raised as green eyes found the source of the slightly too enthusiastic welcome. To her relief the waitress looked to be around her age, maybe a little older. The girl had long auburn hair and what little she wore was very short and very tight; her ample cleavage spilling out the top of a low cut blouse. And everyone is staring at me? âUmâŠâ âOh, donât let them bother you.â The girl seemed to sense Emmaâs discomfort, nodding her head towards the rest of the patrons. âWe just donât get very many new people.â The waitress paused tapping the end of her pen to wide red lips. âActually, we donât get any new people! Youâre the most excitement weâve had since⊠while since I can remember!â Emma nodded, unsure how to respond. âYeah, I kind of happened upon this place by accident myself.â She laughed half heartedly, flashing a sliver of perfect white teeth. "That makes sense. I donât know why someone would come here on purpose.â The dark-haired girl snickered, rolling her eyes. âIâm Ruby by the way.â âEmma.â The blonde smiled, her shoulders relaxing against the back of the booth. âNice to meet you.â Ruby paused; staring at the blonde, then laughed, shaking her head. âSorry, you want something to drink?â She smiled, placing a menu on the table top. âUh.. yeah.â Emma glided her fingers over the menu, flipping to the back. âCan I get a hot chocolate with cinnamon?â âWeird. But, yeah sure.â The brunette shrugged before turning away. Emma was halfway through her grilled cheese and onion rings before she started to slow down. Her hunger was sated, but she hadnât a plan for the night. She had enough cash for the meal, but definitely not enough to get a room for the night. Had the town been larger she would have parked her car somewhere and slept in the bug, but that seemed risky here. A young girl sleeping in her was sure to be noticed in such a small town. Continuing to push her food around was a way to more or less buy some time. âSo, what did you say you were doing here?â Ruby interrupted, taking a seat opposite the blonde. Emma swirled an onion ring through the smear of ketchup on her plate. I didnât say. The waitress seemed nice enough, but Emma had learned very early on that looks could be deceiving. She didnât necessarily mind her company, but she wasnât about to jeopardize her freedom. âIâm on my way to my Grandmotherâs. I just took a wrong turn and ended up here.â Really, Swan? Your Grandmotherâs? Lame. âHow much longer is your drive?â Ruby seemed to take the information at face value. Emma sighed. The problem with lying was that you couldnât simply tell one lie. You had to continue lying to cover up for the first lie. She usually didnât have a problem thinking fast; a skill she had learned quickly. But, tonight she was tired, both physically and mentally. It felt like a lot of work. âI⊠Iâm actually not sure. Where am I anyway?â âYouâre in Storybrooke. The most boring town in the eastern seaboard.â
So Iâm writing a new SwanQueen story which I am super excited about. Anyone who knows my work knows that I love Evil Queen Enchanted Forest fan fiction. Some of my favorites have been stories that take place at the end of season 3 when Emma goes back in time and is captured by the Evil Queen.
But something I was always curious about was what life would be like for Emma if she managed to erase the Queenâs memories and get back to Storybrook. How would she cope with all the physical and emotional conditioning the Queen put her through? Would Regina notice? Would she realize what happened? Iâm really loving playing with this storyline. So hereâs and excerpt from Hourglass Sinâs and the link if you want to read more!

Emma landed hard, chest heaving as the portal closed behind them. The cold floor pressed into her back and pieces of straw clung to her hair. For a moment, she was back in a dark cell, changes binding her ankles as she shivered in the cold, damp air.
Emma shook it away. She couldnât keep going back there. She had survived worse in her eighteen years of foster care. Hell, she had survived worse after foster care. Living on the streets and jail time werenât exactly a piece of cake. But this was different. This was the Evil Queen. Emma hadnât just suffered at her hand. Not like her foster families who neglected and abused her out of anger and selfishness. The Queen had a purpose, to claim her in every way possible.
Each move the Queen made was as methodical as it was unpredictable. Punishments and rewards were given and taken with no discernible pattern. Emma was left floundering in the dark with the Queenâs rules as her only foundation.
She had held out as long as possible. After being captured as Princess Leia, sheâd spent a week in the dungeon. She was given no comfort and only enough food and water to make sure she didnât die. She was certain sheâd lost ten pounds that first week. Sheâd lost even more weight sense, her red leather jacket sliding over her shoulders. Food was a reward, as she quickly found out. A reward and a temptation.
When the Queen arrived at her cell with a roasted chicken and cooked vegetables, her stomach betrayed her, fighting against any resistance sheâd thought she had. She managed not to answer the Queenâs request for her real name the first three times she asked, but as the Queen un-lidded each plate, her strength faded.
Iâm absolutely in love with this story!
