So, it’s finally heeeeere! This is my first piece i’ve ever written in English and actually finished, so:
All the mistakes are made by me! Apologies in advance.
I’d really like to hear about your opinion, so tell me what you think! I can’t really tell yet, if this is good or not, I hope it’s ok! 😂

Request by Anon: Hey, I just saw you opened requests. Are you up to one? I’m 20. So what about cal dating a reader who’s younger than him, and the boys were like surprised about that but then when she starts talking about important stuff like feminism, Human rights and their own relationship (like distance is hard but if there’s communication partners can make it works) in a mature way they really see why he’s into her?
,,And you are sure, that you and Y/N will make through that time?’’, Luke asked with a sceptical tone in his voice. Calum gave him a shocked and concerned look.
,,Yes, absolutely! I love her so much, we’ll make it through the tour.’’ His face seemed confident, but his voice trembled with a bit of doubt. Ashton shot him a worried look, but Calum’s eyes didn’t meet his.
The bassist turned his head to gaze out of window and started to think about *her*. The woman he met on his birthday, at the most famous club in Sydney.
He was trying to catch a break, walking outside to seize his breath again, a light layer of sweat on his forehead from all the dancing. Leaning against the wall of the club, he lit a cigarette, closed his eyes and smiled. He felt so... *happy*. Calum hasn’t felt this emotion in a long time. The stress of making an album, being single and planning the upcoming tour was getting to his head, but being surrounded by so many great, and cheerful people who all loved him to the moon and back made him feel great, made him forget about the expectations the world had of him. The light in his eyes had returned, even if it was jut for one evening. He pressed the end of his cigarette to his lips and exhaled. Breathing in the smoke he opened his eyes again and stared into the sky, the stars looking so prepossessing, he wished he was one of them.
,,Are you good?’’ A soft and slightly husky voice woke him from his daydreams. An attractive woman, definitely younger than him, stared up at him with a caring and delighted smile. For a short moment he was stunned, not expecting anyone to find him out here.
,,Yes, thank you’’, he replied with a shy, but charming smile, brown eyes glimmering in the low light of the street light. She stepped forward and leaned against the hard wall as well.
,,Isn’t it hard to be the birthday boy in such a known club? I’d probably feel very intimidated and overwhelmed being surrounded by so many people.’’ She let out a small giggle. Calum realised only then, who she was. She was the friend, Luke and Sierra turned up with, saying, she has just finished school and was now starting to study at an university.
,,It is quite...something’’, he replied with a deep chuckle.
,,But it’s lovely. What are you doing here anyway?’’ He looked at her with honest interest.
,,I was feeling lonely and asked Sierra if she wanted to something with me. Sooooo she invited me here. I hope that’s ok for you?’’, she asked and looked up at him- eyes filled with hope.
,,Of course’’, he laughed, ,,I really enjoy meeting new and interesting people. So, are you up for a drink?’’
And that’s how it all started. With a simple drink, and hour after hour of talking.
The guys were surprised when they found out how old, or better young, she was. And they never completely accepted it, even though they saw how much he loved her, and how much he was adored by her. So that didn’t change their opinion on how short they’ll stay together either. The highest bid was made by Ashton, who said it will take them three months until they break up again. This ‘’bidding’’ the guys did, hurt her and Calum a lot. Of course, nobody knows how long a relationship is going to last, but at the moment they felt like it would be for forever. They were completely in love with each other.
,,Hello? Anyone here?’’, an excited voice asked from the hallway in front of Calum’s living room.
,,Yes, were here, love!’’, Calum replied, the worries from before forgotten.
As she walked into the room, Duke pressed closely against her chest, she was greeted with a quite unusual sight for a Friday night. Everyone was cuddled up with their loved one: Sierra and Luke, Micheal and Crystal and Ashton with Kaykay. All of the dogs included. Normally all of them would go out, leaving her to babysit the dogs since she wasn’t old enough to go to clubs in LA. But at the moment the couples tried to spend as much time together as possible, since the girls weren’t going with them. Setting Duke, who immediately jumped into Calums lap to get his cuddles, down she greeted the group, then walked into the kitchen to get herself something to drink. Coming back with a disappointed look on her face and sat next to her partner.
,,I’m sorry, I took the last beer’’, Micheal apologised.
,,It’s ok, Mikey. I’m actually not even allowed to drink yet, in this country’’, the young woman exclaimed followed by a little bit of a bitter laugh. But the bitterness soon vanished as her boyfriend handed her his beer.
,,We’re at home’’, Calum said with a wink ,,nobody cares how old you are.’’
She shot him a thankful look and took a sip.
,,Soooo’’, she began ,,what were you guys talking about?’’
Her was greeted with embarrassed silence and nobody met her eyes .
Only Calum looked at her with his sad puppy eyes. For a short moment he considered not telling her, with all these people around, but then decided against it. She deserved to know what the others thought about how their relationship will end.
,,We were talking about how our relationship status will look after the tour.’’
,,...and?’’, she asked, slightly irritated. That was definitely *not* what she expected to hear.
,,They’’, he said while making a wild hand gesture into the direction the others were sitting, ,,think that *we* won’t last ‘til the tour is over.’’
,,And why would you think that?’’ A bit of a confronting and questioning look was shot across the room, which was answered with Luke clearing his throat.
,,A long-distance-relationship takes a lot of time to make it work out. I thought with you starting college-‘’
,,It won’t be a problem at all’’, she interrupted the blonde-haired man.
,,I know, a long distance relationship is hard, but we can make it work! It’s just all about the effort and time you put into it, connected with a boatload of communication and creativity.’’
For a moment the room was silent.
But then Calum jumped up, scaring the hell out of Duke which had fallen into a slight slumber next to him, pulled his girlfriend to her feet and pressed a quite harsh, but very loving kiss to her lips. The young man then gave a triumphant smile to the surprised guys sitting on the sofa and said:
,,Told you guys! She’s the thing that could have ever happened to me!’’
The young Maori couldn’t stop smiling and pulled her in for a tight hug.
,,I love you’’, he whispered into her ear.
,,I love you too. And do want to know something? I’m coming with you on tour anyway!’’, she laughed.
Calum pulled away to give her a shocked smile.
,,I’ll have to take online classes until summer because of the virus. I can do that on the tourbus just as well as at home!’’
She got picked up and spun around by Calum quickly, another passionate kiss being exchanged.
Something on the guy’s faces on the couch changed. This was the first moment, they have actually realised, how much Calum loved her and that there was no way of them breaking up anytime soon.
,,I guess we have to get along with you then’’, Ashton said with an honest smile, stood up from the comfortable couch, and went straight for a group hug. It didn’t take long for the others to join in too.
