Short tempers and the wrong words tend to send fists flying.  Anything that gets in the way of the fight end up scattered and broken. Like a hurricane had blown through, the dark apartment had furniture turned over, papers thrown around, glass shattered and the only two occupants sitting in the middle of the wreckage. They were both bloody and bruised but finally calmed, one resting against the toppled over couch and the other against the balcony doors. The angry blue eyes that were once glaring at each other were now relaxed and staring in a more respectable sense.

Noel licked at his busted lip, checking if the bleeding had stopped, and let out a gentle chuckle. He watched his little brother rub the side of his hand across his nose, wiping up the blood that had already dripped passed his mouth. His head rolled to the side, a low rumbling coming from the glass door, and dug into his pocket to pull out a partially crushed pack of cigarettes. "You look like shit," he commented, placing one of the least broken sticks in between his lips then tossing the pack over to his brother.

Once he caught the pack, Hansel's head turned so he could spit out the blood that had gathered in his mouth then he hissed back, "You're one to talk." He placed a cigarette in his mouth then threw the pack back, clenching his fists to hear his fingers pop and admiring the bleeding tears in his knuckles.

The silence filled the room once more as they passed a lighter and lit their cigarettes. Hansel's head fell back against the couch and exhaled smoke into the air above him. He could hear his brother move around in his spot on the other side of the room. "You still messing around with that slut who runs the jewelry store?" asked the younger male, picking his head up just slightly to look over at the other.

Placing his cigarette at the corner of his mouth, Noel gave a dull look to his brother and responded, "You still trying to get back with that red headed, hipster bitch?"

Hansel could only return the nasty look and simply spat, "Fuck you."

‘ Hellians, that’s a new way to describes us. Here   I thought we had something special going on. ‘

Nili rolls her eyes and open up the big fridge, grabbing two cold sodas out of it, handing on to her brother before popping the lid.

‘ So I thought the baddies of the tenth floor only walked   around at night —–Don’t you burn at the light? ‘

“That’s quite a funny idea you have of us on the tenth floor. I’d remind you that vampires don’t exist but you seem like the kind of brats who believe in all that supernatural bullshit - probably all the conspiracy theories as well.” He wandered the kitchen as he spoke, pulling out the items he needed to make the meal in mind. As much as he already said he disliked the twins, he wouldn’t come straight out and just tell them to get out because he didn’t want to face any one who might be listening. For some reason unknown to him the other tenants in the complex seemed to adore the two teens.

“Quite precious, aren’t you? What are you trying to protect from a nasty Morgul like me? I’m sure it must be interesting for you to be threatening a transformation.”

‘ No, no, no! ‘

She doesn’t care about the pain in her scalp as she pulls from him, her free hands grabs at him, digging her claws into skin. Not this time, she refused to even let it get beyond just the cutting of her shirt. She’s struggling to get out of this grasp of his, even if it meant losing hair to the cause. practically in a whine, she pleads with him.

               ‘ Hansel, please stop, fight it, Hanhar is not you! ‘

His devilish expression only seemed to grow as she struggled even more fiercely. Hanhar had loved the fight in the redhead and Hansel actually found himself enjoying it quite a bit. With a click of the knife, it was returned to it’s hiding place in his pant pocket and just as his other hand was releasing her hair, the now free hand forcefully grabbed her by the neck, slamming her back against the dresser once more.

With it, a laugh erupted from the black haired male as if everything truly was some kind of joke. “Hanhar isn’t me, eh? That’s really humorous coming from you - especially because you had been avoiding me since the memories appeared. You were too busy trying to put yourself into another life that you caused this darkness to take over. You don’t want to be the Elf Evon? Why would you treat me as the Morgul Hanhar?”

She head tilted back as he had her hair in his grasp. She doesn’t like this and hell, she could almost cry if she even had the chance. Though, tears wouldn’t fall in his presence  not this time. She finally realizes that her wrist is now free and now starts to think of a plan to get her hair free. She refused to be his plaything in this world and this time, she wasn’t  going to break.

‘ I’m not a little dove anymore. I don’t fucking sing and pretend to have a broken wing for    you anymore. ‘

The look on Hansel’s face seemed to soften just a little bit, almost like he didn’t want to be doing this to her. “Why would I harm my pet with something like this?" He motioned to the knife before changing it's position in his hand and bringing it to the collar of his shirt. "This kind of torture would be too obvious on the outside. It's not as fun these days. Back as a morgul - heh," he chuckled, entertainment in his voice now, "everything was better back then." He pulled the knife down, a tearing sound filling the room as it made quick work of her thin shirt. "Now, this is starting to look familiar."

She didn’t like this, she was letting the memories of past lives influence current choices. She couldn’t blame Hansel for having the face of her past live tormentor. A deep breath came out of pale pink lips before grabbing his hand on each side, putting them down to his own sides. She didn’t want to waste anymore time even doing this. She’s more then uncomfortable with him just being this close.  

‘ I’m not blaming you, Hansel. I just don’t want us getting any closer then we are now. ‘

Before she could pull her hands away, he turned his wrists and grabbed her [rather forcefully.] “And why’s that?” His voice was rising at that moment but he was trying to keep it quiet enough so no one on that floor would hear then. “Why am I the one who has to suffer because I can actually move on from this? You and Valarie are the fucking same. Lingering so hard on things that didn't even happen to you. First that fucking bitch attacks me in the lobby because of what Hanhar did and now you won't even look me in the godamn eyes."

‘ Hansel, I —-  ‘ 

She doesn’t like how close he is right now, but she’s oddly attracted to him,  almost to the point like he’s a magnet and she’s the metal. It probably has something to do with the past romance the two shared during high school.  A sigh is released as pale arms push him back gently, she doesn’t want to worry about any past feelings coming up again.

Her push had done very little as he seemed to stumble a bit but his hands were right back beside her, blocking her chance of escaping. “Evon...” Her name seemed to come out as a hiss, like he was insulted she was trying to get away. How could he blame her though? Everyone’s minds were plagued with the memories of these past lives and Evon had some of the worst thank to him. "Evon -- Those memories are from a different life - different people. Can you really stand there and blame ME for something that Hanhar did?"

She doesn’t look at him in the face, she only stares at her feet, not ready to look up to see his face. To see the man that almost killed her with torture that she never expected to happen. She runs a hand though loose gingery hair. She doesn’t know how to respond to him, her ex boyfriend, someone she once loved ( and probably still has feelings for ), a man in a past live that harmed her. 

                           ‘ Look, I really don’t know what to say to you, Hansel. ‘

She finally brings her eyes to him, looking at him, taking a step back from him also to make the distance, only bumping into her dresser and hitting the drawer with her back. She lets a small grunt before a whine, rubbing at her back. Could nothing go right this week?

The moment he heard the thump of the dresser and her light grunt, he moved forward, putting his hands up beside her. "Evon...You know me." He leaned forward, his face closer to her at this point, catching the faint smell of her perfume. He could almost feel just how scared she was from being in his presence. "You know I couldn't hurt you like that monster did."
