Reading the lives of many of the saints, some of them seem almost inhuman. Thatās why Iām glad thereās a saint like Joseph of Cupertino, who is known, among other things, for being kind of a dumbass.
He frequently forgot what he was told to do, dropped piles of dishes, found examsĀ ādifficult and stressful,ā and was generally regarded asĀ āremarkably unclever.ā He passed his seminary exams by miraculously only being asked questions he knew. Heās the patron saint of students sitting exams and people with learning disabilities (also pilots, because he was prone to levitation).Ā
āO Great St. Joseph of Cupertino who while on earth did obtain from God the grace to be asked at your examination only the questions you knew, obtain for me a like favour in the examinations for which I am now preparing.ā
love this guy
heās levitating in every painting iāve seen of him and everyoneās just like āthere he goesā
I enjoy reading the lives of saints sometimes so I looked this fellow up and then went browsing through his medals, and I have to say most of them basically just look like these paintings but then thereāsĀ
NYOOOOOOM!Ā
(Available for purchase here.)
[ID: Four images; the top three are of a man in a Franciscan orderās robes, levitating, while other friars and sometimes angels look on in amazement. He has upraised arms and a fluffy beard and seems pretty cool. The fourth image is a saintās medal shown front and back; the back reads St. Joseph of Cupertino, while the front shows a man soaring through the air horizontally, arms outstretched, greatly resembling an airplane.]

I made a rosary for peace in Palestine. The centerpiece is of the Holy Family, the crucifix has a bit of Jerusalem soil in it.
