Its a real shame pigeons get passed up as pets in favour of parrots so often. Not that parrots can't make good pets also. But it's so easy to get your hands on a parrot and their care is soo much more exoensive and hard than most people realize. Pigeons are much easier to care for and tend to make better first time birds! Plus pigeons are like, actually domesticated for it unlike parrots. There are so many beautiful breeds of pigeons as well!
