BOSCO feat. St. Beauty Band - Castles (VIDEO)
So this morning, Vogue debuted this nostalgic presentation from indie Atlanta artist, BOSCO. The Fool's Gold artist teamed up with St. Beauty Band, the two baddies on Janelle Monáe's Wondaland label to give us her new single, "Castles" An ode to the ladies who are over going back and forth with their lovers and ready to move forward. The song is kinda trippy, and I love it! The visual, directed by Lacey Duke, is surprisingly set in Atlanta. The ladies made it a point to show us a side of Atlanta that is rarely appreciated amidst the typical trap rhetoric we've come to expect and love. I must say, this visual is giving me some serious girl power vibes. The aesthetic is soft, yet demanding. Check out the video for "Castles" above and keep up with BOSCO and St. Beauty Band on Instagram and Soundcloud! Let me know what you think!
Live from the Red Carpet: Anthony Anderson and friends at Peli Peli Galleria
Superbowl weekend in the city definitely had me running around town falling into so many amazing events. Lots of awesome people visiting from all over the nation with chill vibes and curious eyes for our cultural melting pot. Check out some photos I captured at Anthony Anderson's private event at Peli Peli Galleria above.
Live from the Red Carpet: Rolling Stone Live Houston
Superbowl 51 was definitely one for the books. From the chic and swanky parties, to the big show going overtime for the first time in football history, to the controversial defeat taken by the Atlanta Falcons from the formidable New England Patriots. Our beautiful city has been proclaimed the winner in the battle of Texas hosts for the Superbowl, seeing how there were 12,000 people on the Discovery Green lawn for Solange, and parties all over the city reaching capacity at ease with all the visitors reveling in our southern charm. I got the opportunity to shoot some of your favorite celebs in town at the Rolling Stone Live red carpet event at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston featuring Big Sean, Nas, Dj Cassidy, Diplo and more! Check out some of the photos above and keep your eyes peeled for me at the next event!
Hijabi - Mona Haydar (VIDEO)
Mona Haydar. Syrian-American boss babe with some bars for the Hijabi wearing royalty of the world. My mind is blown and I couldn't be happier with the way we are standing up for ourselves in a beautifully creative way. Be sure to keep up with her on IG at @themostmona.
One Africa Music Fest 2016
Late last year, I got the opportunity to shoot for one of the biggest and brightest festivals ever! The One Africa Music Fest was held at the Toyota Center in downtown Houston and was a complete and total experience! All of the top international artists were present in the same building at the same time! An Afrobeats concert in Houston is not one of those "put your phone in the air" type shows, everybody was too busy doing the Shoki! We even had the mayor come out and personally ask for the festival to come back again and again! I'm looking forward to catching this amazing festival on its second coming, so stay tuned for new tour dates coming soon! In the mean time, check out my view of the amazing One Africa Music Fest above!

Migos - Tshirt (VIDEO)
The Migos are back at it again. Check out this visual directed by DAPS and Migos front man Quavo for their latest single "T-shirt" off of their highly anticipated upcoming album, CULTURE. Rave reviews are already rolling in about this visual and the Migos can honestly do no wrong. I don't know about you, but after their "Bad and Bougie" performance in Nigeria went viral, the 27th couldn't come fast enough! Look out for their sophomore album later this month on Itunes! Enjoy!
Ace Tee - Bist Du Down feat. Kwam.e
2017 will be the year for R&B! To help you get things started right, check out this dope new artist coming out of Hamburg, Germany giving us all the new school 90's vibes with her video for Bist Du Down, produced by +ma and directed by Arnold Hammer and M. Henry. From the looks of it she's fairly new to the scene, and I personally can't wait to see what's to come. You can purchase this track on itunes and keep up with her music on Soundcloud! Let me know what you guys think!
