Poll for Rick Sanchez OCs and AUs!
Does your Rick have many cybernetic enhancements? 🤖
🔵 (75+) Yes, so many of them. More cyber than human.
🟢 (<50) Yes, plenty of them.
🟡 (<25) Yeah, a few.
🟠 (<10) Not many.
🔴 (1–3) Virtually none.
🟣 (0) None at all.
This is something I don’t often hear much about, so I want to hear your thoughts on it!
And please, feel welcome to comment/reblog with your reasoning as to why! 😄💙
Rick de-aged himself to 27 in Fear No Mort (which has been presumed relatively canon in terms of Rick and Diane’s relationship) meaning he was around 27 years old when his Diane and Beth died.
The Beths de-aged themselves to 10 and looked identical to the Beth in the flashback in The Rickshank Redemption, meaning Rick’s original Beth was probably around 10 years old when she died.
That would put Rick at about 17 years old when Beth was born… The same age Beth was when she had Summer.
‘That’s how teenage pregnancy happens, my friend!’ makes a lot more sense now.
I am so happy with The CuRicksous case of Bethjamin Button.
It was intense and awesome to see genuine and upfront catharsis for both Beth’s and Rick’s trauma.
I loved seeing how Rick still showed only the typical level annoyance and frustration with the Beth’s despite their aggressive behaviors. Never shaming them.
He might know a thing or two about chargers
Favorite Diane au is one where a Diane ends up in the citadel somehow, has no fucking idea what happened to all the other Diane’s, and it turns out that C-137 isn’t the only one who modeled his ai after Diane’s voice, so this Diane is just hiding in stuff, pretending to be whatever nearby ai, skulking about, trying to put the pieces of this weird puzzle together
I really haven’t seen anyone else mention this, but are we not seeing the consequences for Morty’s major changes in the series? I saw some complaints about Morty being dumbed down in this season, but isn’t that the point?
I remember saying to myself in the Roy episode, I wonder how this will change him? Same with the Fear Hole episode. Especially with that whole Andromeda bit. I think Rick is becoming increasingly disappointed with the Morty he has either deliberately and/or inadvertently created.
But more than dumbed down, Morty Prime seems more aggressive and aimless. In the cryo episode his only concern is to try to get them both off the ship and when that doesn’t happen he just gets aggressive with Rick which clearly Rick is unhappy with.
The changes that happen to the “Makeys” almost seem to happen to him rather than because of his deliberate actions like we see capable in Evil Morty or even Arcade Morty.
It makes me curious about Morty Prime’s motivations or his character in general.
When the clone Morty’s were dropped off in different planets in the new Citadel episode, all of them were still bound by their programming. Finding purpose in the assigned traits created for them rather than breaking free of it. Even Arcade Morty, seemingly unbound by a specific trait sitting aimless at the front of a Rick’s doorstep.
Is Morty Prime also lead by this same force? I wonder if he is a clone himself or natural born.
He is clearly eager to do anything to get back to Rick when he was dumped by him. He set aside his own values to try to convince Rick to get back together in the crow episode. Why do that just to become complacent in a relationship that’s clearly bad for them.
He was able to break away from Planetina when his values were broken then. Why not with Rick? Is he programmed to stay? Would Rick let him even if he tried?
lost another real one to status quo
I can't believe I finally done this :') (thank you my hyperfixation!!) please enjoy♥ edit: I hope the text is readable../// edit2: I double-checked the text on any mistakes, if there's any - I'm sorry, english is not my first language :') edit3(sorry, I keep forgetting stuff!!!): I'm totally free for any questions for this Rick! (even though I probably won't create a second page specifically for him cause bro… just one page of mine makes my head hurt enough, so sorry for that ahah).. I also love all kinds of interactions, roleplaying etc.etc., so please feel free to bother me with that! ♥
Adult Morty C-147
Morty and Rick, forever and ever, a 100 years!
A genius progidy child and his silly cowardly grandpa! This is. A normal, very much existing show. Not at all off or inaccurate. What? Who said that?
