The Fundamenta – Amadeus scholarship program is made for the painter and sculptor students of the Hungarian University of Fine Arts. Each year, 7 students receive the prize. In 2018, I had the honor to design the event’s poster and invitational card.My goal was to create a design with a recognizable look that inspires the students to apply for the scholarship program,so I redesigned the well-known hungarian postal check’s graphic appearance to make the poster familiar for not just the students, but the majority of people. I also made some additional elements such as envelops and pins to suggest the Fundamenta – Amadeus Foundation that this event could be a good opportunity for graphic design applicants to make a comprehensive event design in the future years. I had to refurbish my road cycle so I decided to repaint its frame and change some parts too, in order to make it more personal and exciting. The graphic on the raw frame is hand drawn with some layers of lacquer on top and it shows my free association at that time. The drawing took around 30 hours of work. AWAride refurbished and changed the parts and then professionally put the bike together, as you can see in the pictures. For more pictures about this project check it on Behance.

Pályázatom központi eleméül az internetes közösségi felületeken használt “hashmark” (#) karaktert választottam, amely egyszerű, tömör, bármilyen méretben könnyen és gyorsan felismerhető jel.

Abból kiindulva, hogy már most, 7 évvel a kultúrális év előtt a közösségi oldalakat (facebook, twitter, instragram, stb.) használók számára szinte nélkülözhetetlen egy-egy bejegyzés írásakor vagy fotó feltöltéskor a hashtag-ek használata, olyan koncepciót hoztam létre, melyben a fő logó, dinamikusan az aktuális rendezvényhez tud igazodni, így segítve annak kommunikálását egy közös nyelven, a kultúrális évben Gödöllőre látogató magyarok és külföldiek számára egyaránt. Az arculatban használt hashtag-ekre keresve minden internetes tartalmat, bejegyzést, fényképet, videót, stb. összegyűjthetünk, amelyekben jelen vannak az alább felsorolt kulcsszavak, melyek angolul és magyarul a kultúrális év szlogenjeiként is funkcionálnak.

Our goal was to make an infographic based on our social connections. I decided to make something that visualises my family’s eating habits. I’ve made 7 food categories that would be interesting to research and compare. Then I paired them with food types to make the two infographics. The selected materials are in connection with their food categories and also have explicit, solid surfaces to fit into the jar and look expressive. The vertical direction of the infographic shows one person’s consumed food in quantities/year. The horizontal arrow shows the family’s (26 person) consumed quantities/month.

Timetable of semi-finals and finals for the Budapest Olympic Games 2024. Fictive fanfold design. My goal was to design a timetable and avoid the usage of the usually depicted famous places of Budapest (Parlaiment, Chain Bridge, Heroes Square etc.), therefore I used the coat of arms of Budapest, the horizontal articulation of which is the basis of the print.
