I’ve been a member of Aywas since Day 1. I spent thousands of dollars and so many years investing in the site. I am so angry that Slash messed up a perfectly good formula. Has he not heard the phrase, “If it ain’t broke, then don’t fix it?” he has great ideas and manages to kill them all off eventually. I remember bringing up my concerns that he was going to rapidly run the game into the ground a few years back. A few other users similar to myself felt the same. We were ignored. People blindly trusted his plans. Now, the site is a limping ghost of its formerly glorious self. Now, those of us who were happy to dump our wallets into the site every month are gone. Greed is so blinding and leads to mistakes.

 I have been through enough pet sites to know what would kill them. Aywas had true lasting potential in the beginning. All he had to do was back away then. People think change is necessary and that we cannot go back. Both are lies. Aywas did not need to change. We could go back if allowed. There could be another site created on the earlier premises of what Aywas was. I would hope that someone would consider making another simpler and more sustainable site, but I am not holding my breath. Aywas may be the first and last of its kind making it a truly tragic story. Lesson for the future, trust your most loyal investors and quit when you’re ahead.

Before You Give Slash Any More of Your Money

Know that he is currently refusing to pay the breeding artists for the work they have done. Some of us were counting on that money and to be told “oopsie, looks like you’re going to have to wait ;-)” is really fucking low.

I get that he’s focusing on Furvilla right now, but that doesn’t mean he can just ignore his commitments to people he owes money to. Look at all the artists who have been banned for being late on their fees, now we’re expected to be so patient and understanding.
