"Aiden... Get Rose to safety, NOW!" Celeste's last text sent moments before The Darkness was released from The Mark of Cain. She had no idea what it would do to her, the man she loved, or her daughter. All she knew was that she needed them safe.
Aiden didn’t really have a lot of time to act. Not knowing how or if anything would work against whatever Celeste was trying to warn him about. But he did following what steps where needed to protect his daughter.
Celeste has been gone for so long, I was just assuming that somehow you would've abandoned her by now. After all, she is a huntress, she's gone almost 24/7, you must really have a strong heart and trust in her.
“Of course I trust her. As for what she does, I will always have faith she will come home unless someone trust worthy tells me otherwise. If you think I’d just give up on her, then you clearly have never been in love.”
Do you still love Celeste Winchester, Aiden?
“Of course I do, what kind of stupid question is that?”
"Hey dear." Aiden murmured. Pulling Neri into a kiss as he nuzzled her. "How is everything?"
Neri smiled and wrapped her arms around him and returned the kiss happily. “Not too bad. I’ve missed you.”
Aiden loved every moment he had with Neri. Not one thing he hated. Nuzzling the other as he listened to her talk for a moment.
Chuckling as he nodded. “Yeah. They will learn eventually, even if it leads to one being eaten. Casey’s been given the go ahead by Vaako to do what she needs to do. Slipped back into the Cheshire persona too.”
“Well, they’ll get what they deserve. I’m just glad they’re not bothering the twins or you.” Her smile faded slightly as she looked to him. “They haven’t been have they?” If the nobles and the like had… she’d be going on a huge tirade.
“Other than the one time Riddick found out someone tried to kill the twins. Nothing. I think some idiots still mistake me for Vaako and too scared to do anything..” He mused. “Not that I’m inclined to correct them anytime soon.
"Hey dear." Aiden murmured. Pulling Neri into a kiss as he nuzzled her. "How is everything?"
Neri smiled and wrapped her arms around him and returned the kiss happily. “Not too bad. I’ve missed you.”
She took her time to savor the kiss. She loved the affection she got from Aiden. Stolen kisses, soft caresses, and then the wild fun when the twins were away.
“Who knows. I personally think that the vast majority of the nobles have their brains drained when they’re ‘purified’. They’ll either learn or die. Plain and simple. Can’t stop idiocy when its determined to be stupid.”
Aiden loved every moment he had with Neri. Not one thing he hated. Nuzzling the other as he listened to her talk for a moment.

"Hey dear." Aiden murmured. Pulling Neri into a kiss as he nuzzled her. "How is everything?"
Neri smiled and wrapped her arms around him and returned the kiss happily. “Not too bad. I’ve missed you.”
“Course not.” He mused. Nuzzling a bit as he chuckled. Remembering that moment. Served the nobles right.
“I think Casey is considering a public show that she isn’t to be trifled with. If that happens I advise keeping Gen and Lan in the room. If Casey slips into her unique madness someone is lunch. Last time it happened she ate the first dormouse.” He murmured.
“Case told me that riddick said Vaako could kill the nobles if he felt it needed. Course he said than no one would be left to run the armada.”
“I’ll make sure to have them visiting with one of my siblings when that happens. And I think you’ll be too preoccupied to leave the room as well,” she said with a purr.
She nodded and rested her head against Aiden’s shoulder. “True. Always need some underlings to run things. Just makes things easier. Though if a few were eliminated, they should learn. If they don’t well…” Neri just shrugged.
Aiden smirked as he pulled Neri closer. Stealing a kiss from her as she chuckled. “No complaints here.”
He hummed in thought looking up at the ceiling. “Yeah, but this is getting ridiculous now. If they couldn’t kill her the first time, what makes the other thousand times any different?”
"Hey dear." Aiden murmured. Pulling Neri into a kiss as he nuzzled her. "How is everything?"
Neri smiled and wrapped her arms around him and returned the kiss happily. “Not too bad. I’ve missed you.”
Neri grinned like… well… Casey. “Are you complaining? Because if you are…” She trailed off and gave a shrug. Neri wasn’t angry or upset because she knew he wasn’t complaining, just stating a fact. But she did enjoy teasing him something fierce.
“I don’t know about that sweetheart. These necro nobles seem to be pretty stupid when it comes to getting a clue. They once dared to threaten the children.” She barely supressed the shudder that came from thinking about that day. Not only had Riddick been furious, but she herself had let loose her temper. Only she didn’t play nice the way Riddick had. He’d given them a warning where as she’d ripped their souls from their bodies, twisted and tormented them then put the souls back. Those few never bothered anyone again. Then again they were barely able to speak.
“Course not.” He mused. Nuzzling a bit as he chuckled. Remembering that moment. Served the nobles right.

“Me? A trickster?” She gave a look of mock innocence. “Never. I am a Death Goddess and a Siren. Okay, maybe sometimes I was a little bit of a troublemaker.” With a big grin she looked into his green eyes. “Then again, I don’t think I’ve heard you complaining about my playful nature.”
A simple nod indicated her agreement. “Sometimes its good to have powerful friends and lovers.” Neri shrugged and continued to smile. Right now she was in a very good mood. “Though I believe Casey has met a good match in Vaako. Though if he starts laughing and smiling more often… I’m running.” The sad thing was that she was only half kidding. Most of the necros needed to have the sticks taken out of their asses and in some cases they needed to be beaten with them.
Aiden could only shake his head as he chuckled. “Course not, then again your playful nature usually ends in a tumble or having teased me till I drag you to bed.”
“I was waiting to see if he tried to kill her. Surprised that never happened. Even if their getting together was a result of as she bluntly put it, angry sex.” He mused. “I doubt that will happen, though I have seen him smile once or twice I imagine thats something only Casey sees.”
He shook his head. “Casey provides to much life in an otherwise dead place. Plus I’m pretty sure the message will get across if they keep trying to kill her only to end up dead themselves.”

“Course. MPSD here remember if thats not a bit crazy I don’t know what is.” The brunette mused. Chuckling a bit and nodded. “Oh Casey knows, she also knows they keep trying to have her killed but its not working.”
Neri chuckled and nodded. “Well they do have a thing against those who don’t play by their rules.” Her smile brightened further. “Cats have nine lives. And besides that, when your friend is a death deity you tend to die even less” she commented with a wink.
“You sure you weren’t a trickster?” He teased. Nodding a bit as he leaned back to relax. Keeping Neri close. “Thats good, course Casey tells me at least every other meeting the nobles try to get her offed. Which usually fails even when they try to get help from the other ships.” He chuckled.
“Think thats cause she somehow made friends with a man who has control no matter what. Despite her annoying moments...that and Vaako.”
"Hey dear." Aiden murmured. Pulling Neri into a kiss as he nuzzled her. "How is everything?"
Neri smiled and wrapped her arms around him and returned the kiss happily. “Not too bad. I’ve missed you.”
“Course not, multiple personalities can atone for that.” He chuckled. “Course and they are attached to Casey of all people.” Aiden added in.
Neri laughed and nodded. “But that’s not necessarily a bad thing. We’re all a little crazy. None of us suffer with it, we enjoy every minute of it.” She let go of the hug and took his hands in hers. “Besides, I dare anyone to tell the twins or Casey to stay away from each other. I’d rather take on the entire Necromonger army.”
“Course. MPSD here remember if thats not a bit crazy I don’t know what is.” The brunette mused. Chuckling a bit and nodded. “Oh Casey knows, she also knows they keep trying to have her killed but its not working.”

“Wow and I expected it to be other way around.” Aiden mused as he looked at her. “They are your daughters, so trouble is part of their blood between the two of us.” He teased.
She chuckled and wrapped her arms around him, pulling him into a warm hug. “And I highly doubt you are all that innocent dear. But they are our daughters and trouble will follow them everywhere I think.”
“Course not, multiple personalities can atone for that.” He chuckled. “Course and they are attached to Casey of all people.” Aiden added in.

Celeste smiled gently at Rose before looking back at Aiden. “Come back? I thought Belle banished him? How could he come back?”
“Honestly, this is Rumpelstiltskin we are talking about here. If he wants to come back, which there is a large chance he does. He’ll find a way.” He informed. “IT just means its going to take longer because he won’t have magic, but still know what he’s doing to a degree.”

“He’s out of town? That means he’s powerless. I could easily kill him now.” She smiled a bit darkly, shaking her head slightly. “What about Rose? Has she been alright?” Celeste asked him, kneeling down to hug her daughter properly.
“And be a wanted person.” He pointed out. “She’s been fine, missed her mom like any child would.” He said. Watching the two most important people in his world. “He could come back and who knows what he’ll bring back.”

“3 months?” Celeste said, her voice practically a whisper. “My daddy was in hell for 4 months. God, I guess resurrection runs in the family.” Her voice was slightly shaky before Rose came up to her and hugged her again. Celeste petted her daughter’s head. “What do you mean a lot has happened?”
“Gold was forced out of the town by Bell using the dagger. He hurt her emotionally because he kept striving for power instead of being happy with what he had. Nearly killed Hook and the others. Its just...a long story.” He breathed softly. Remembering the fiasco with the Ice Queen and such.

“How long have I been dead? I know that 1 day here is the equivalent to 3 years in Hell. I lost track of time in Hell so I have no clue how long I’ve been gone.” She asked, tucking a strand of hair out of his face and behind his ear.
“You’ve been gone for almost 3 months, mom.” Rose chimed in, leaning against the doorframe.
“Rose is right. 3 whole months. To long as far as I’m concern.” He murmured. Pressing his forehead against her’s. But it had been near to 300 years for her. “Lot has happened sense you died.”
