So. Elizabeth's wedding dress has so much symbolism, but one that I feel gets glossed over is the elements of the fringe white ruffles that flow off her that are reminiscent of the Silk Moth. People say her dress evokes the sense of a fragile insect, but it is the silk moth, specifically.

The silk moth symbolizes rebirth and growth, but also seeking light and hidden knowledge. She was so drawn to the light within The Creature.

They also have no mouths after emerging from their chrysalis and must search for a mate before their short life comes to an end.
