❝ hey, i like your outfit !! it’s really unique, not like all the mothman shirts that usually show up around here. ❞ MAISIE’S USED TO SEEING PLENTY OF TOURISTS WITH THEIR VARYING QUALITIES OF MOTHMAN SHIRTS, but this is something else. it’s different, unique, interesting; similar to her clothing choice. as usual, she’s loitering around the mothman statue, playing with her phone and generally just minding her own business. the only reason she’d looked up is because someone had mentioned how different the statue looked from the photos of the cryptid. HER HAND RUBS AGAINST THE SLEEVE, a smile forming on her face. yep, just as fluffy as her father !! maisie absolutely loves all things soft, her room is full of fluffy pillows and rugs. ❝ that’s so nice of her !! my mom doesn’t knit, but she does sew. she made me this little keychain. ❞ maisie pushes the fabric of her cardigan out of the way, unclipping the little plush from a belt loop and holding it out toward the woman. it’s an overstuffed mothman plush, about 4 inches tall, with bright red buttons for eyes. sarah had made it for maisie’s seventeeth birthday, the first birthday of hers where she knew who her father was. ❝ it’s squishy, i love it. ❞

❝ how do you get your hair to stay so smooth ?? the second i try to do anything with mine, it gets fluffy. ❞ THAT’S BECAUSE YOU’RE THE MOTHMAN’S DAUGHTER, maisie, he’s notoriously fluffy. she’s always curious, always wants to know everything about everyone. it’s a shame, really, since when she gets attached, may usually sees disaster for the person. it doesn’t mean she won’t try to make friends, though.

i’ll probably queue this post a bunch of times, but i’d like to let you all know that i will be on vacation from this wednesday to next sunday. i’m going out of state to visit my sister for her high school graduation, so i will not be on much and when i am, it will mostly be mobile. i haven’t seen my sister in three years, so this is a very big deal for me. thanks for reading this, everyone !!
