The details don’t line up for a normal babysitting job, they still don’t – but she’s expressed the desire to put it behind her and move on. He wants to move on too. So he welcomes the subject change with a grin while flashing a look towards a certain broody man in the distance, currently speaking with another agent.

 compared to the people around him, Chris is easy enough to spot owing to the fact he’s probably part giant. taller than most people, and certainly beefier, it’s not hard to spot the man when Ethan looks Chris’ way.

 Mia had really thought the weirdest family she’d ever encountered was the Bakers after Eveline got a hold of them. she couldn’t say much for who they’d been before that, but all four- Zoe included- had been horror game material.

  turns out she’s a magnet for messed up families; this one somehow worse than the first. at least the Bakers were being controlled into what they were, these guys seemed as if it was just how they were.

  the man before her looks greasy, and she’s not close enough to smell him but she imagines he smells like motor oil and bad body odor. he holds himself up like he’s someone important.

 Mia sighs, just her breath breaking the frigid silence. 

“ you here to dig into my brain too? ” she asks him, dark eyes staring past the bars to meet sunglasses. “ going to tell me anything at all; why i’m here, who these bitches who keep coming in here to mess we me are? ”

mia may be little, but she can put away food like nothing else. she’s always been an athletic type girl, did a lot of sports in school etc. and ate according to what her body needed: which was a fuck ton.

during her time with the bakers she lost a lot of weight and muscle mass, despite the super strength affects the mold gave her. mia was emaciated and malnourished, so was placed on a strict diet when she was saved to quickly and safely regain the lost weight.

by the time re 8 rolls around, mia has regained much of what she lost, and is back to being her usual self: unafraid of eating loads, giving her body what it needs.

in another life time, mia could have been a dietitian, she almost did, but ultimately chose microbiology... and from there, the connections research into eveline.

when it comes to her sexuality, mia is one of those people who grew up going with the status quo; girls like boys, boys like girls, get married to a man, have kids etc. as far as mia is aware, she’s straight as a ruler.

however, underneath layers of heteronormativity and the fact she pretty much went straight from college into marriage to ethan, she never explored her sexuality or why her stomach would flutter when a girl would do her hair for her or make up, or just touch her on the arm. even in college, mia was far too focused on her studies that she rarely ever went to parties and did all the stereotypical drunk fun times.

as of the birth of rose, mia has yet to explore her sexuality further, but she is actually pansexual.
