Frog friends (by: My Garden of Eve)

Walking by my pond a spotted this frog keeping cool under the leaves. It was Gorby! I recognized his brown spot on his head although his green color was much lighter which I’m sure is due to the warmer air. A welcome sight for sure. 🐸

The lotus are blooming. I just love them. You can see the remaining seed pods next to them. They are even striking after the petals fall off. 🪷

I think I have a new admirer. This guy swam over to me and adoringly gazed into my eyes. I think he likes me 🐸

Nature’s Bouquet (by: My Garden of Eve)

My Drift Rose is in bloom. It’s nature’s bouquet. I pulled down a branch to take a picture. It’s so pretty how the flowers are all different shades on the same plant. I’ve had it for many years and it blooms into the fall.

I bought this Clematis years ago at Home Depot in the dead plant section. I didn’t even know what color it was. I think it really appreciated me taking it home :)

Wisteria (by: My Garden of Eve)

One year only! I planted a Wisteria years ago and never got flowers until this year. It turns out it needed the full sun and finally found it up on my deck. Unfortunately it grew through the deck tiles. I will cherish this year but will have to cut it back. Note to self for next year 🪻

I was hanging out with Sheryl Croak while she was hanging onto the pickerel plant. She stayed a long time. I guess she wanted to soak up the sun ;)

It’s a cool day but a few frogs ventured out. I believe this is Seth Green paying me a visit. He was quite a bit smaller last year. The frogs and I are waiting for some warmth. 🐸

I woke up this morning to the sight of this beautiful Ruby Throated Hummingbird at the feeder. He traveled from Costa Rica to my home. Wow, I am so honored to have him for the summer.

Turtle bark (by: My Garden of Eve)

So you might think this a bit crazy but my dog Bennie has a “Turtle bark.” It is a different bark when he spots a turtle. When I hear it, I run over to see. Yep, he spotted my little box turtle who’s been hanging around for the past few years. I would never find him without that bark. I said hello and then kinda hid him till the next time Bennie spots him.
