gorgug and kristen died together when they were 14 and so scared and so new to the world. gorgug was trying to make a friend and his parents sang him songs that morning to try to help him and he is scared of his new teacher. he is 14 and fresh out of a middle school where people bullied him for being different. kristen was trying to preach and spread her love and she wanted to join a group of bad kids because she wanted to be good. she is 14 and has mostly been in helioic schools and she isn’t sure when wearing your heart on your sleeve stopped being cool. they are 14 and they fucking died

gorgug and kristen are 16 when kristen dies again and this time she is alone. she was trying to bring back a dead god and her faith is painfully strong and she walks through the world a half ghost until she pulls herself back into the land of the living. she is 16 and too mature for her age and she thinks she’s aging faster than she should. gorgug is terrified that he will never see her again and all he can think of saying is that he is sorry he wasn’t there with her because dying with a friend is always easier. he is 16 and his hair is older but he still is a scared little kid deep down even if his anger is more useful and he is smarter than he thought

gorgug and kristen are 17 when they are on a ship together and they are remembering when they died. they hope it doesn’t happen again but they link their pinkies together and know it eventually will because this is how their lives work. they will die and come back to life in a cycle that is far too cruel for people so young.
