what happened to actual acoustic versions?

Me: daddy is that clock going to keep making noise now?

Daddy: it’s making noise?

Me: yes. it’s LOUD

Daddy: i’m sorry let me fix it

while he’s amazed that i can hear the clock ticking and he can’t hear it, he decides to put it in the other room

Daddy: can you hear it now?

Me: no, not anymore

five minutes later…

Me: daddy i can still hear it

Daddy: DON’T LIE TO ME

would you wait? if you knew?

… i wish i could ask you to wait

Bestie: i thought we had to tell them some secret code or something
