Mamuang Nam Pla Wan (Thai style fruit dip). Mamuang nampla wan is a classic Thai dish which is a combination of unripe mangoes and a sticky dipping sauce. In Thai, mamuang means 'mango', and nampla wan means 'sweetened fish sauce'. Mamuang Nam Pla Wan Thai Dipping sauce Mamuang Nam Pla Wan ( sweet fish sauce) to eat with sour fruit sauce pan 1 cup water16 oz Palm sugar1/2 cup fermented fish sauce (padeak)2 tbsp shrimp paste1 tbsp Msg1 tbsp chili powder1/4 cup toasted rice powder1/3 cup shallot (sliced)1/2 cup small dried shrimps1/4 cup dried shrimps (medium size)12 chilies (chopped) Pour water into the sauce pan and add palm sugar. Medium heat.Cook until sugar dissolved. Simmer 10 min.Reduce heat to low and add fermented fish sauce.Add msg and shrimp paste. Simmer for 5 min.Turn off heat and add chilli powder.Add the rest of ingridients one by one.Stir well. Serve with sour fruits, such as mangoes, gauva and green apples.
