i love the idea of reader, being a major hottie, enjoying their time on a rich dude's private yacht who they are not going to fuck bc why would they put out if they can just use the idea that they might to get what they want

So, if I remember correctly, there are Malleus clones watching over and controlling everyone's dreams on the island. I don't think he interferes much with everyone's dreams. However, for his Darling, he will interfere with their dreams and try to control them as much as he can. Perhaps his Darling's dreams are the most protected, making it harder for Silver and everyone else to enter.

I have an idea: Yan Malleus wants his Darling to have a happy life in their dreams like everyone else, but he also feels possessive and jealous. He doesn't want his Darling to be happy with other people, but he also understands how lonely his Darling will feel if he is the only one in their dreams. So, he came up with a silly solution: he uses his clones to 'play' as everyone in the Darling's life. For example, Malleus clones act as Ace, Deuce, and all of their friends in Twst. His clones put on fake ears and tails to act as all the beastmen students in the school and act as all of the school staff. One of his clones even wears a Grim costume to act as Grim.

Imagine the gang's reaction when they finally enter the Darling's dreams and see all of Malleus's clones copying and acting as them. Perhaps Malleus uses some illusion magic to make the Darling see all of his clones as normal. For example, they will see a Mal clone acting as Ace look like Ace. However, for others who have entered the Darling's dreams, they feel horror seeing all of the clones impersonating them.

Imagine how the Darling will feel when they wake up. I think they will feel truly horrified by all the impostors.

That's messed up and so in character somehow. And I'm totally adding this to things I want to write ✍️

Anyways, Malleus certainly use whatever way to ensure his darling is protected both mentally, emotionally and physically so him impersonating someone is quite possible. Can he like extract their memory on how each person acts or he is just acting like he think they do though? I'm going to believe he can "see" his darling memories to make their dreams more comfortable, otherwise if his clone acted a little off, his darling would feel like something isn't right

For Malleus this is absolutely heaven. He can have all the little domestic moments with you, sleeping with you and waking up to see your bed hair, your grumpy face and hear your voice hoarse from sleep. Brushing your teeth for you when you two get up and bringing you your towel while you shower then a few moments later, dancing with you on the kitchen while you two cook together <333

The others are not so happy with this. This isn't normal nor healthy and they don't even know how to make Malleus realize this and his darling remain clueless about it. Maybe they're dreaming? But pinching their arm doesn't do the trick so maybe their friends is just playing a trick on them? They aren't sure what to think of it but they can see how defensive Malleus get, how his voice tone change and his grip on them gets stronger and tighter and his whole aura irradiates with anger. Something is very wrong and when they found out what it is... It's so sickening, so surreal that they can't even believe in what's happening, I honestly wouldn't believe it too lol

Watching Idia’s presentation from the new Book 7 content to explain his plan made me think of him making something similar to convince his darling that they should get together.
