A dream fulfilled.
Criminal Record
Apple TV's new drama Criminal Record with Peter Capaldi and Cush Jumbo has been terrific. It's a slow burn but it keeps you engaged and guessing. The acting has been stellar, particularly with Capaldi, Jumbo, and Cathy Tyson.
I highly recommend it.
Hell Bent part 1
The best finale
Doctor Who Christmas Specials
Moffat Era had the best Christmas Specials. A Christmas Carol is the best Christmas Special, but all of Capaldi era's specials were excellent.
Last Christmas, The Husbands of River Song, The Return of Doctor Mysterio, and Twice Upon a Time were all bangers.
Peter Capaldi had a multi-Master episode followed by a Multi-Doctor episode during the end of his run. Both iconic episodes.
"The first time you meet him, he's funny. The second time, he's amazing. The third time, you realize he's the most dangerous man in the universe. He says he's a man of peace, but he walks in war."
The daft old man who stole a magic box and ran away
Twelfth Doctor Finales
All of the Twelfth Doctor's finales were great. Heaven Sent/Hell Bent and World Enough and Time/The Doctor Falls were above great and simply extraordinary.
Doctor Who: 60
Extremis
"Something's coming, Missy, and I'm blind. How can I save them when I'm lost to the dark"
The Twelfth Doctor looked absolutely Hot in this scene
Steven Moffat
Steven Moffat was creatively on fire when writing during Peter Capaldi's era. I can't think of a single Moffat-penned episode that was rated below 8/10.
"Tell me what they did to you. Tell me what happened to the Doctor."
I love the way Clara phrased it by asking him what happened to the Doctor.
Hell Bent is one of the best written episodes.
Third Doctor and Twelfth Doctor
Fists on hips
Peter Capaldi embraced the role more than anyone everyone.
