Day6 songs which feel very BPD coded for me

Since last month was BPD awareness month I made a thread on Day6 songs which I find very bpd coded atleast from my experience of living with this disorder

1. Highs and Lows (Unpiltered)

This is literally the BPD anthem for me because the lyrics exactly depicts how I feel when one of my FPs (Favourite Person) leave me or distance themselves from me. Its way too relatable for me than it shouldve been

2. Monster (Band Aid)

Monster reminds me of the stigma which is attached to BPD and other cluster B disorders. Every mental condition has their own stigma but for us we are infact treated like monsters or vampire. Many of us actively try to better ourselves and are very kind.

3. Afraid (TBOU Demon)

Afraid reminds me of the times i can instinctively feel that my loved ones- parents, friends, siblings are walking on eggshells because of my emotional instability- i really hate this part of me because i hate worrying people.

4. So Lets Love (TBOU- Negentrophy)

This song reminds me of how i feel whenever I have a fight with my fp or whenever she gets upset at me. It feels like a life and death situation. also I have this tendency of going back and fourth with people caused by my unstable relationship tendencies.

5. I need somebody (Moonrise)

This song reminds me of the times when i split on myself and spiral down into thinking that I will never have a friend and that everyone will eventually cut me off because I would become a too much for them with all my big emotions.

6. Sincerity (Pilmography)

This song is exactly how desperate I am when I feel somebody is moving away from me. Its not just about the person its also about all the moments we shared the love we had. Everything related to them just becomes quite tainted and that scares me as well

I have so much to say regarding the recent incident involving dowoon being falsely accused of sexual assault of an american expat.

when I initially got the news saying my heart sank would be an understatement- dowoon, while not being my bias of the group was still quite important to me as I looked up to him- he has been an inspirational figure for me as someone who just like him struggles with low self esteem. Watching him conquering his fears and improving in his beloved craft gave me a sense of hope.

However like any sensible person I decided to stand with the alledged victim and considered the possibility that one of my idols is a vile person beneath the facade. It did'nt hurt me any less, I have been quite tired of having to second guess every man to be a potential rapist. I want to live freely without any fear holding me back. Is it so hard for men to not be a monster?

When the allegations were proven false on one hand I felt a sense of relief but on the other hand it worsened my fear of AI getting popular since the accuser stole picture from a stranger woman and forged her testimonies. Im quite terrified of AI being used for such nefarious purposes- from creating revenge porn- to creating fake AI doctors for lethal misinformation to now creating false rape accusations. Its making the lives of actual victims of sexual abuse to come forward thereby giving rapists more leeway to victimise more vulnerable people

Sure it is infuriating to see TOP still suffering from public backlash for a considerably minor fault and went through so much of pain as a result on one and on the other hand seeing a bloody criminal like seungri still having the audacity to show his face, host parties around the world and shamelessly riding off Bigbang's fame despite also no longer being part of the said group.

Can I just say I am proud of this man, I am already proud of him for being alive despite all the trauma he has gone through and watching him making a comeback in the entertainment scene makes me even prouder. I wish nothing but happiness and success to this man, I pray that he does not have to go through even more suffering than he already did. I just want him to know that there will always always going to be people albeit a smaller group who want the best of him and who would support him in his future projects.

Choi Seunghyun I hope wherever you are I hope you are healing. You are a brave soldier.
