Hel tilts her head, as if trying to understand the words of the other god. She was sure she was missing something, a discernment of nuances perhaps, but then the spirit above the tree gave another shriek of protest as if already detecting their time was short.
“I would be much obliged for your assistance with this matter.” She gives a nod to the other god, her own eyes barely widening as he relinquished the glamour that was around him. A monkey god. Interesting. And that explained the comment about the bananas.
“If you could just chase him down, I’ll secure him.” She retreats a bit from the tree, and readies to swing the energy glowing from her palm, like a baseball about to be launched.
Grinning softly as he likes the plan, Wukong nods before Hel steps back, and his focus instead shifts to the tricky spirit looming on the branches above him. “Got it” he murmurs the affirmative, before making sure she was far enough back, and launches himself up into the tree. His movements are more vertical to the trunk then actually needing it to climb. Toes barely touching it as he ascends higher up into it’s branches, catching the first so he can swing himself up and land on the one above. Despite his height the movements agile, almost graceful, and doing little to the tree than shaking a few leaves.
“Down you come, you pesky thing” he calls out, before swinging up, past the spirits level to heard it down. Strong arms swinging and pulling his weight with ease. Climbing trees really was one of his favourite things and he never finds enough reason to do it in his modern life! Camazotz probably wouldn’t approve, given the expensive shirt he was wearing, but the bat god wasn’t here and he doesn’t always do his laundry for him!
His moves have the desired effect as in an effort to get away from him, the spirit starts to move down the tree, all shrieks and howls. The Monkey King hot on it’s heels.
