sometimes when you’re in a position where you hate your job, hate your surroundings, or just hate the people around you but STILL manage to tough it out and be a sincere person… the universe knows. It might not feel like it but the woman you helped with her groceries is probably telling her granddaughter about your act of kindness, the lady you provided excellent customer service to probably had a better day because of you, the classmate you helped with her paper is feeling thankful that you’re their friend. there are people, strangers that you’ve helped that are thinking about you and have sent positive energy your way. I understand that it’s sometimes hard to believe that when you’re alone, but your compassion does not go unnoticed. you should take pride that even though you’re struggling you make an active decision to be a better person to others and it takes a special kind of person to do that.
