Shyly, Luke tugged at the taller boy's sleeve and pointed at the top of the book self. "Get me the brown one."

Glancing down before up to where the other pointed, Lavi smiled and bent down to the boy’s height. Patting his head lightly, he nodded in agreement. “Alright, sure thing kiddo!”

When he stood back up, he turned back to the bookshelf and went to grab, said book. Of course, that’s when he remembered where he was, and the fact a child was there with him. As he turned around to hand him the book he wanted, his smile faltered a bit. “Hey, how did you get in here anyways?”

He was about to walk away when he was stopped by the other’s question. “..I used the door?” Confused, he pointed to the door in the front of the library that let to the halls of the Order.

“Yeah, I get that part.” Eyebrows furrowed every so slightly in annoyance, Lavi’s smile became a bit more and more forced. He clearly didn’t understand the question. After a quick moment of analyzing the kid, his eye flickered, finally connecting the pieces. Just to confirm, he asked the other;

“Wait, you’re not an exorcist, are you?”

He couldn’t quite see who was talking, he was still a little shaken after his adventures of wandering here. Completely unintentional, of course. Slowly peeking out from here he stood hidden, he stepped out cautiously as he let his weight shift to his leg which stuck out from his hiding place.

“..—!” Mentally cursing to himself as he immediately stepped back to his hiding place. Clenching his jaw, he was sure the lunatic talking to himself heard the floorboard creaking.

Snapping back to reality once he’d heard a noise, Lavi’s grip onto his hammer tightened. Grimacing, he prepared himself for what he thought would be other enemy, and another attack. There’s still more of them---?

Lavi took a step forward, keeping his weapon small but by his side, and ready. He didn’t think he’d be able to last through another battle, big or small. His injuries were too great, and he was beginning to feel a bit dizzy.

“No use hiding, man. I know your there. Either come out on your own, or I’ll drag you out here myself!”

{ Sorry I've been so inactive, and not even telling you I would be. I've been having a hard time adjusting to my new home and life. It's all very different and similar at the same time. School's starting up in about two weeks, and I got into the school I wanted, so hopefully all will start going right. }

{ I have a dentist appointment tomorrow fuck and a doctors as well, not to mention Youth Group in a couple hours, so I'm probably not going to be able to get back on until at least.. Tuesday? }
