Anyone know the name of indigenous Mexican languages? At one of my jobs about half the Spanish speaking customers speak a different language than my native (Mexico) Spanish speakers and i would like to learn some phrases and write them down for the employees since a good 20-25% of the customers speak this form of indigenous Mexican Spanish? I can’t look up any info if I don’t know the names of the most common ones....

Mixteco is the name of the indigenous language spoken in the south of Mexico around Oaxaca which is where most indigenous Mexicans living in America are from.

He also solidified the idea of rabbits loving carrots when carrots actually carry very little nutritional value for rabbits. The funniest part of that is that the original joke was a reference to a Clark Gable film where Gable munches on a carrot, it was never meant to imply that rabbits love carrots. The Clark Gable reference would’ve been obvious to audiences in the 40s but it has been pretty much lost to time.
