This one lol : @mrdimtmb
This is kinda interesting how Nintendo (firstly) added Undertale Sans in Smash Bros Ultimate, but also gave him a gaster blaster in the arm. The first time I saw it, I immediately thought of Color!Sans. It might be a total coincidence but... What do you think about it?
@servurcortado DTIYS submission! (Plus a little behind the scenes of the chaos that was the making of it, lmao)
This was a process and a half, let me tell you, but I'm pretty satisfied with the end result! I was reading some of Faker's lore and saw that he's a bit more edgy than I originally thought, so naturally that's what I was drawn to, lol.
I grew up in Las Vegas so I wanted to add in all the little Casino bits and bobs and I really do love how it turned out in the end. I had a lot of fun with this!
I had a bit more I wanted to do on it but I really should sleep now (It's like 5am, lol) and I think this is an alright stopping point. Naturally, once again, I am submitting something the day it is due, lmao. I really didn't mean to turn this into a habit but here we are ToT
Timelapse below the cut and my original failed attempts for this challenge that I abandoned yesterday when I had MAJOR art block for some reason.
^ I picked the 60 second option for the timelapse because it would've been like 10 minutes long if I didn't, lol.
^ This was attempt number 1 and honestly, I wasn't really liking it at the sketch phase to begin with (the anatomy is so off from my usual, idk what I was doing) so I don't even KNOW why I started coloring it. I was also experimenting with adding a divot at the top of the skull to make it slightly closer to actual skeleton anatomy, and have decided I don't like how it looks, lol.
Attempt number 2 was actually after I was reading some lore, but I wasn't liking the sketch and angle, so I temporarily abandoned it before basically redoing it for the final product.
And then this was an idea I was messing around with where I wanted a pathway of playing cards and sort of an Alice in Wonderland type theme, but then realized it was gonna be WAY too ambitious for the already little time I had given myself, lmao.
And here's some lil sections of the progress I had been sending my friend as I was working on it, lol. Fully rendering something was really fun! It's been a while, lololol.
