Laurel waited until all the festivities were finished in order to search for someone that could ease her mind from all the worries that she had been carved inside her mind ever since Yule. The head priestess was already the kind of person that would worry, mostly about her coven and others, but there was a part of herself, no matter how small, that also worried about her own self. It had been awhile ever since she had visited Elias, and, eventually, aside from Sienna, he was the other person she trusted and was close to in the Laveau Coven.
She waited until it was dark, hoping that he didn’t have any other clients before she moved inside the studio, asking for Elias and waiting until her green eyes would be able to notice his figure in front of her. “Hey… I hope I’m not disturbing you, I was hoping if you and I could talk? But only if you don’t have any more clients for tonight. We can grab a drink or whatever would be easier for you.” After all, she knew she was searching for him during week days.
Things generally picked up around the holidays. The new years especially. It always amused him the amount of people decided they were going to make their new years resolution to get a new tattoo. He always thought it was an odd choice but he’d never turn away the business. Thankfully the rush had gone by and he was relaxing in the back doing a few commissions. His head lifted as someone called his name and he offered Laurel a smile. It was nice to see a familiar face. “No not at all, just working on a few commissions, nothing I can’t pick up later. If you’ll give me a second I’ll wrap things up here and we can head out.” Setting his pencil down he slid a few sketches into his pad, his pad going into his bag. “Everything alright?”
