It’s been a while since I’ve been on here. I turned 32 in July. I am 9 months post op from my hysto, everything went great and I’m all healed up. I think I’m 10 years on T now and 6 years post op top surgery.

I’ve been working for Amazon in a warehouse as an order picker for 1 year 4 months. It’s a boring job but pays decently, super nice people all around, the benefits are amazing (they cover trans surgeries and my T). I only had to pay out of pocket for my hysto like $2,000 and the insurance was billed a bit over $30,000 if I remember correctly.

I moved in with my boyfriend far away from my family but I’m not on good terms with them anyway right now. We live pretty much in farm land over here and are barely making paycheck to paycheck but we are making it work. He just got a job out here so it will get better soon. Trying to stay positive 🙂

It’s Christmas Eve and I don’t want to go anywhere but have family obligations to meaning even as a 31 year old I am still afraid to disappoint my Mom (she wants everyone at every holiday even though her and my step dad go on vacation every thanksgiving). I’m going to do the same but for Christmas when I get the money. Go somewhere warm. I eventually want to move from Michigan to California in the next couple years.

Trimmed up the beard and I’m liking it. Have no idea what I’m doing, just learning as I go.

You don’t realize how big or smaller you’re getting until you see pics. I think I was close to 220lbs last year and now 163lbs. All I’ve done is cut out fast food, haven’t worked out at all.

Was supposed to have my 2 week post op appointment for my hysto recovery but tested positive for COVID, now have to wait 2 more weeks to see my dr.

The only symptoms I had were loss of taste and smell which still currently have, I tested positive last Wednesday. Hopefully I get at least my taste back soon, it almost makes eating not worth it.
