It was pretty hard to miss this last week, but for those who have managed to miss the news: Tumblr is killing off the nsfw posts. They are doing this in the worst way. From 17th December all nsfw posts (and many, many, many sfw) will be hidden from everyone. So instead of them growing balls and just ban 90% of their blogs, they are just slowly gonna bleed themselves to death. This way they can’t blame it on their own decision.

What led to this? It’s a long story, but in the end it’s mostly just gross mismanagement. Illegal content was an increasingly growing problem, and rather than just place an obvious REPORT button, they just it happen. For those who didn’t know, if you wanted to report a picture/video of lets say child abuse, you had to click “share” first and then report…. I can tell you, the last fucking thing on my mind when I see such content is the urge to share. (jesus f christ what were they thinking…). Anyway, what now? I am first moving to twitter. Simple cause it works, doesn’t ban porn, and its easy access. I don’t think it will be a permanent solution for me. I had the most fun in creating/making long story posts or tutorial posts like my chastity-woods adventures or my cum-filled coffee :3. Twitter is not a good platform for those type of posts. I am aware of bdsmlr and pillowfort. But instead of just creating blogs everywhere I’m gonna sit and wait for now. Once a single platform starts getting serious traction I’ll move to it. If it happens before the 17th I’ll post it here, afterwards I’ll just use twitter.
