What are your thoughts on Fury after watching the episode? Pollen's explanation about the suit change had me under a first impression that the miraculous wielders just say the line and the suit just comes with. Now it's emotion based, which looking at Gabriel when he was Monarch I can see it, but didn't Plagg explain that too or am I remembering wrong?
Here's Plagg's explanation:
Plagg:(drawing over the board) Nope! Because when your personality changes, your costume changes too! Up until now, whenever you transform into Cat Noir, you didn't think about it, it was natural. And what came out was this Cat Noir. (He crosses out the picture of a goofy Cat Noir.) Not at all what Ladybug wants! But if you focus hard, you can be a completely different Cat Noir!
So in Plagg's case he was talking about it being more based on personality. But I don't think that actually conflicts with Pollen's explanation exactly? Honestly, I think that based on what we've seen, it's more about mindset than either emotions or personality. It's about how you're thinking and feeling.
Zoe wanting to bring justice by terrorizing citizens is so american of her
Glad to see the writers let Zoe continue to be a vigilante as a treat. Love that for her.

running with you
I think about Luka leaving for Brazil and thinking- "Well, Marinette's doing well, I can leave her, she's happy now." And then he listened her whole story about lies and secrets and screamed in his head- "I LEFT YOU ALONE FOR A SECOND AND THIS IS HOW IT ENDED, I WON'T MAKE SUCH FATAL MISTAKES AGAIN! *AGGRESSIVELY RETURNING TO PARIS*
"I honestly can't imagine how his fans exist with the constant neglect of him as a character in the plot."
With a lot of booze, headcanons and denial! (kidding about the booze part)
It seems in 10 years many of us have become adults and can actually play the game - drink every time when Chat gets knocked out in a fight/scene/plot
Marinette takes Luka with her to Bunnyx's space because they need to figure out how to defeat the villain using double the power of time travel. While Marinette tries to figure out how and where to start, Alix shows Luka the time- tricks.
Or the story of how the random moment "oh, this cute random girl came into my room at my mom's request" evolved into "in a few months, this girl will ask me to rewind time to save the world from end"
It's a sad side effect of the Season 5 finale having Adrien not be present in the final battle and not finding out Hawkmoth was his father.
If his stans had little tolerance to any salt towards him before, than the finale just made it worse
I honestly can't imagine how his fans exist with the constant neglect of him as a character in the plot. It's like he's absent from every major aspect of the story. He's so constantly outside the story that in six seasons, he's never spoken to anyone else about his secret identity, not because he hides it so well, but because the plot doesn't care about that aspect of his life at all. He should have secretly existed as a superhero for a year with both of his “parents” were control freaks and there were zero problems for the entire year. When Marinette has had at least five people in a year with whom she now has deeper connections because they're integrated into both of her lives and with whom she had emotional connections and conflicts because of this. Meanwhile, no one cares about Adrien at all. In the start the plot was written with Nino as his friend, and it could have been written that Nino learned his identity AT LEAST , but no, Nino just nps who know nothing about Adrian. For me, this is Adrien's line biggest problem: he has no connection with anyone. While Marinette has a whole web of different interactions and conflicts, Adrien sits alone in a room, interacting with no one except maybe Plagg. He's not integrated into the plot's depth, either as Adrien or as Chat Noir, which is why he has no story. Somehow, he's the most secondary character, although he should be the second most important.i understand Marinette is the main character and stuff and I don’t ask about a loooot for him, but GOD, I think we know more about even cloe and mylene but never about him. It’s like plot says - nah we ok with him being sexy kitty boy and sad poor child for saving. All his roles how nice 👍🤨
I suspect there‘s an Adrien stan around that keeps sending Adrien-related asks to Luka/Lukanette blogs for some reason, and many of them are written with a bad-faith-mindset, like „oh you must want the poor kid dead don‘t you??“. You‘re not the only one getting those asks I‘m afraid, that person was been around for a while. They’re annoying, but overall harmless
Well, at least we're all having fun, dialogue is fun.
Do you think Adrien was turned into diet Luka in Season 5?
he became a diet version of himself

A funny thought. In Kuro Neko, when Adrien became a catwalker, Ladybug immediately fell for him. I used to think it was a simple idea that if a chat behaves like an ideal Adrien, then of course Ladybug will have feelings for him, because it's familiar to her, just like having feelings for Adrien… But when I rewatched … Adrien doesn't really act like a catwalker, especially around Marinette. He may be a good, kind, well-mannered guy, but it's all in a rather passive form. While a catwalker is proactive, ready to take responsibility, offer solutions, but at the same time obey and trust Ladybug's thoughts and don't compete with her for leadership. It's very convenient to support her decisions and offer his own if she needs help. And I kinda feel, I know another character who behaved this way with Marinette, and she really liked him enough to want to kiss him (even if he's not Adrien) 🫢😵💫
