Summary: John immediately scanned his eyes over his brother, trying to find anything that gave away the reason Gordon had called him so suddenly, but there was nothing obvious. However, the weary look on Gordon’s face told John that everything was not okay.

Written for @thunder-pride feat. the longest title ever XD this fic is so dear to me and I love it a lot, so I hope you do too

John had just pulled his book out of his overnight bag and was about to get into bed to read it, when his phone on the nightstand started to ring. An amused smile graced his face when he saw who was calling.

“Hey, Gordo,” he answered after only a second of letting it ring. The book was abandoned as John perched on the edge of the bed. “Having fun celebrating being a gold medalist?”

John was no stranger to one of his brothers calling him whilst drunk, so he wasn’t too surprised that it was his little brother who had rang him. He knew Gordon had gone out to celebrate his win from earlier in the day, as he had told the rest of his family when they were able to meet up for dinner. Now that the rest of his swimming heats were over, he was able to let loose and have fun with his teammates for the first time in a while.

“Hi, John. Um, can you come pick me up?”

D'ya like 'em? If ya have, which Marvel characters d'you reckon the Tracy brothers are most like? If ya haven't, then never mind. BuTttttt honestly, I reckon Kayo's proper similar to Nat (Natasha)

I've talked about this before, but Gordon and Johnny Storm are basically the same person (blonde, associated with the no 4, work with their sibling(s), gay af, etc etc) I also think he's like Bobby Drake too! The ice and water associations are similar!

I think Virgil could be like Colossus, both gentle giants <3

It might be obvious to say, but Alan could be Spiderman, or Quick Silver

Kayo and Natasha are similar but I also think she could be like Storm too!

John could be Doctor Strange, but I think a younger version of him could be Wiccan.

I think Scott has the unhinged leader quality to be Reed Richards but I don't think he's got the brains for it

OMGGG, I never even thought about Doctor Strange for Johnny TvT

I've always seen Johnny as Vision way more, and Friday as EOS!

But what d'you reckon about the others then? Like Mechanic, for example. I mean, Mechanic is actually proper similar to Bucky when you think about it 💀 They both had, erm... a few issues with brainwashing and all that stuff. And honestly, I feel like Penelope, Brains, and some of the others are where it starts getting a bit tricky. There's loads of room for debate there tbh :P

I'm still not 100% sure who Penelope would be. And Brains is such a weird one 'cause I can see bits of Bruce Banner in him, but not enough for it to be a perfect match, y'know?

I also thought of Vision for John too! And yes EOS can be Friday!

I think the Mechanic would make a good Winter Soldier. I think he would be cool with a robotic arm too

I think Brains could fit Hank McCoy as well as Bruce. He's certainly got the smarts to be him! And Penelope could be Susan Storm or Carol Danvers, or maybe Jean Grey?

As for the villains, The Hood could be any of the bad guys, but I keep thinking of him as MODOK. Havoc could perhaps be Black Cat, and Fuse could be Electro

I'm trying to think of one for Parker but all I can think of is Old Man Logan XD
