Finally finished Bleach recently. Thoroughly enjoyed it but wanted to take a break before starting Thousand-Year Blood War. I've watched season one part 1 of both Sakamoto Days and DanDaDan, both of which I loved. Can't even describe DanDaDan, it's an absolute fever dream of an anime but solid and funny. Sakamoto Days is like the anime equivalent of John Wick, utter badass. I've also finished Mashle season one and started season two. Mashle is essentially if Saitama lived in the Harry Potter universe. Again, the humour is class. Side note, Creepy Nuts do the intros for DanDaDan and Mashle season 2, and they're absolute bangers!

The Switch 2 direct was a massive win for Pokemon. Scarlet and Violet getting Switch 2 upgrades, Legends Z-A getting a Switch 2 version at launch and Colosseum/XD: Gale of Darkness coming to Switch 2 via Gamecube Nintendo Classics. Absolutely unreal. Fingers crossed it's all within 2025. Makes me wonder what's coming next year for the 30th anniversary, how are they gonna top this? Gen 10 + gen 5 remakes?

Been meaning to post about this since Pokemon day. We finally got Legends Z-A news and footage along with an announcement for Pokemon Champions which looks set to be the new place for Pokemon battles going forward. The trailer showed megas and teras, so it's gonna be really exciting mixing things up. Going back to Legends though the trailer overall was good, but I would've liked to have seen at least one new mega/regional form/mon. We did get the starter selection which has thrown a lot of people. Two from gen 2 and one from gen 5, not the greatest selection but maybe they've done that on purpose to give them regional forms or megas that'll grab people's interests. We also saw the new battle mechanics and how it appears more along the lines of Pokken and overall just more like the anime in general. Cool downs on moves and the ability to dodge, it's looking really intriguing. Hopefully this year we get a more steady release of news.

Just finished Dragon Ball Daima and overall, it was pretty good. The animation style and the fight scenes were quality and despite the story being a slow burner at times it was enjoyable. I kind of knew Super Saiyan 4 was coming. The whole DNA sequence was a bit of a giveaway when it first appeared and I must admit my first thought was it was cool but also a cop out. The more I thought about it and realised this is how Toriyama would have done GT, it's made me appreciate it more and it's growing on me. Am I gutted Vegeta didn't also get Super Saiyan 4? Yes. Do I understand why he didn't? Kind of. Yes they retconned Super Saiyan 3 so he did get a "new" transformation in a sense plus we wouldn't want to steal the limelight from Goku would we? It's just not the way I saw things going down. I was expecting some kind of fusion with the bugs after they were brought to our attention. Imagine a new fusion other than Gotenks that could go Super Saiyan 3. Oh well I can dream. Design wise, I do like Super Saiyan 4 and how they went with the red hair instead of black, I like to think of it as a nod to Super Saiyan God. Like, Super Saiyan 4 is the pinnacle of Saiyan power without obtaining God Ki.

It's finally happened, the next installment in the Digimon Story franchise has been announced. Digimon Story Time Stranger. The game looks like such a leap forward from Cyber Sleuth, texture wise and gameplay wise. Can't wait to see and hear more from this game, especially the roster of mons we can get!

Just under two weeks until Pokemon Day and the Pokemon Presents. The first since the Switch 2 has been announced so I'm looking forward to what they're bringing to next gen. What I'm most looking forward to is more Legends Z-A news, I mean, surely it's a given right? It'll have been twelve months since it was originally announced, surely there's news coming.

I think I've had enough time to play now to say that The Final Shape has one of the best campaigns in Destiny history. The grit and emotion is there throughout. Still weird to think we're at the end of the ten year saga, we've taken down what we believe to be the biggest bad. Luckily, there are still things to come because after all this time I can't imagine not playing Destiny anymore.

Finished Digimon World Dawn, bought and finished Digimon World Next Order for the Switch. Forgot how much I do like the World series and how it's more like a game version of the V-pets. A lot easier when you know what you're doing, couldn't wrap my head around it when I was a kid. I remember always getting Numemon and Sukamon in the original Digimon World... Anyhow, currently back playing Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 seen as it was re-released for current gen. Again, another game I forgot how much I enjoyed. Gonna try and get that boxed off along with season pass 2 for Kakarot before Sparking Zero comes out.

Never made a post about Into the Light, well, here it is. Been smashing it since release trying to get all the god rolls from Onslaught and I'm practically done. Love the mode, love the returning weapons, love that the Witness' forces are on our doorstep trying to put a halt to our progress. I mean, just look at the skybox, the Pyramids are here! On Earth?! Class. My only critique is there's only 3 maps, they're could've been more. Maybe there will be down the line, maybe Onslaught is how they reintroduce previous seasonal weapons?

Yet more Digimon I'd love to use in the next Digimon game. Can't remember if I've mentioned Siriusmon before but I loved it in Ghost Game and the other two are more recent reveals for the card game and New Century if memory serves me correctly. Zephagamon, the Digimon on the right, along with Hexeblaumon are from Witchelny which is another group I'd love to see get more coverage going forward. I mean look at them.

Their entire lines are just awesome. Seen as Pokemon is in a bit of a draught I'm back on the Digimon bandwagon. Currently playing through World Dawn, it's about the third time I've restarted it and I want to complete it damn it. I've ordered a Vital Hero along with the Dim for Hexeblaumon so I'm looking forward to that. Post Dawn I'm planning on getting Next Order for the Switch and also a retro console to replay Digimon World 3, one of my all time faves.

Back on my Destiny 2 positivity. Really enjoying the fact there's new loot, a new vehicle and more new loot on the horizon. The Prophecy dungeon refresh means there's new and updated perk pools, some bangers in there. This weekend just gone, I managed to get a Dragonfly/Voltshot Prosecutor and an Envious Assassin/Incandescent Wild Style from the GM. Looking forward to the Vortex frame Stasis sword in a few weeks. Currently on the hunt for a new Title with Repulsor Brace/Destabilising Rounds along with a Hullabaloo with Voltshot/Chain Reaction in this year's Guardian Games. Side note, the new vehicle type, the Skimmer, is awesome and refreshing. It's been hinted that Recluse and the Black Armory weapons are also returning and that'll just be the icing on the cake.

Been meaning to make a post about this for the past week but I don't even know where to start. Pokemon Legends ZA. Pokemon. Legends. ZA. A new Pokemon game, a new Legends game at that. A lot of the community speculated a Legends game but what nobody saw coming was a Kalos/Gen 6 Legends game. Don't get me wrong I'm a little bit gutted it's not a Legends Johto game but still hyped Kalos and Gen 6 is getting more love. It has raised so many questions though from just the trailer alone. Past? Future? New megas? New regional forms? Which starters? New/different pokeballs? It's like every time I go on Twitter there's a new theory, a new point raised, a new question asked. Its awesome. Time to get hyped.

Recently made a post about how hype of a year it was for Dragon Ball and now even the manga is just further supporting the fact. The latest chapter is set just after the Superhero movie and it sees Goku up against Gohan in their strongest forms. Yup, Ultra Instinct vs Beast. Some other cool things to note are that it's not just Gohan there training it's also Goten and Trunks and the location is Beerus' planet so Broly is getting to meet Goku and Vegetas kids for the first time. This is the first time all the saiyans have been gathered in one place!

Pokemon Day 2024 is about a month away at this point. That means we're about a month away from finding out what, if any, core main series title will release this year or beyond. I say 'if any' on the off chance they decide to drop more DLC for Scarlet and Violet, which could happen, I wouldn't put it past them at this point. From all the teases and easter eggs though, it's looking like we're going to be returning to Johto or Unova in some way, shape or form. The big question is what are they going to be like? If they're remakes are they going to be faithful like BDSP, or more like Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee? Are we going to go back in time like Legends Arceus and discover things like the original dragon, the original fusion of Zekrom, Reshiram and Kyurem or are we going to learn more about Celebi and see burned tower in its original state? Could we see a possible sequel to Black/White/Black 2/White 2? The wait is killing me, that's all I know.

Off my posting again but had to make one for Dragon Ball. Its the year of the Dragon and my god it is in terms of Dragon Ball. New anime, Dragon Ball Daima. Granted its not the continuation of Super that the majority wanted but we'll take it, art style looks fantastic. And then games galore, Final DLC for Kakarot season pass 2 focusing on Uub and the story post Z. Xenoverse 2 is getting ported to current gen, looking forward to replaying it on PS5. Finally Sparking Zero, the next installment in the Budokai Tenkaichi series looks absolutely awesome. Gonna be such a good year for Dragon Ball.

I can't believe after 10 years, arguably one of the greatest anime shows has come to an end. Attack on Titan will always be up there for me. An absolutely incredible series from start to finish, and I'm sad to see it end.

Weird to think only a couple of posts ago I was really enthusiastic about D2 and where it was heading. Now, I'm not too sure. First of all, it sucks that so many staff got laid off from Bungie, I hope they all land on their feet. Secondly, what does this actually mean for the game? A lot of people cancelling preorders after the ordeal, a lot of people also aren't. I haven't pre ordered myself but I will being playing The Final Shape mainly because I want to know how it ends, I can't just give up on this nearly 10 year old journey, plus there are still people at bungie putting their heart and soul into the game despite what's happened. The whole situation is a bit of a mess at this point. They really need to hit it out of the park for The Final Shape.
