i just can’t understand people who don’t like klaus

like, i get he’s narcissistic but like the point of the show is to represent how a bad childhood can mess up an adult. if you take away all the superhero shit, it’s just a story of a dysfunctional family, a story of struggling adults who were never given the chance to be children. you have to remember that no one in TUA is perfect (yes, that includes ben. although he is definitely better than the rest of them) and at the end of the day, that’s what makes it so wonderful. let’s be real, if these characters were perfect and had zero flaws, we wouldn’t be as interested.

and that’s why i love klaus so much: he’s been so messed up - arguably more messed up than most - and he’s just trying to get by. and, may i add, doing it fabulously.
