so I got into grad school today with my shitty 2.8 gpa and the moral of the story is reblog those good luck posts for the love of god
okay so i just got my dream job??? a week after applying to it?? and now i’m thinking….maybe this is the good luck post
…..not even six hours later i got an offer of a well paying full time long-term job with free room and board in queens in nyc, allowing me independence and a way to escape an abusive situation and an unhealthy environment

I'm back at using Tumblr, for fun, and will post here more often -- finally -- about Inner Voices and whatnots. Prepare your selves for my awesome game design, considerate neurodivergence talk and weirdly elaborate shitposting.
Today, a person asked me a bit about WIP my game, Inner Voices. I always put myself at enormous standards, and am constantly thinking if I can manage to do what I envision. I didn’t have many things to show without giving off spoilers, so… I just showed some silly screenshots. I want all the experience and dialogues to be only seen when you are playing. They like it anyways. Said how it looked pretty. People have gotten really riled up by my static boring screenshots, so I think that I have some chance at making a good game. It’s not just looks, though. I want this experience to be one you will remember. You will have fun, dance, cry, wonder and question. I am still not sure if I can deliver that, but I’m putting all my SOUL into it. And I hope you will like it.
I’m getting there.
ADHD Progress, oh yeah!
I talked with a lot of people over on r/ADHDers, and boy was it exciting. Aaand it was highly insightful;
I was right to guess that there are details and nuances that can’t be written on technical papers or explained by medical professionals since they are used to look at many people instead of each individual.
And also seeing the many criticism about the current medical studies about ADHD, about how bad the name is (and how much EFDD is a better substitute) and inside things. Even the details of behaviour when they weren’t saying anything was insightful. Also, there were people of radically different personalities, so it was rather clean to figure out what’s shared and what’s emergent from the individual experience.
If anyone is up for a little chat, I got some guide-questions and all. --------------------
For context, I must say that I’m making a videogame, on the likes of Undertale and Earthbound, that aims to realistically portray such psychological conditions, and to explore them by using the power of the Fantasy Narrative to join the characters’ inner worlds and interact with all the abstractions. The goal is to talk about mental issues light-heartedly, because it’s not some alien thing, it’s rather common. But, yeah, not being slightly afraid of getting real, though.

So, I am the creator of the very unknown Inner Voices, a jRPG about the nature of the human mind, and the differences between diferent lives and perspectives (ill cut myself here to not ramble for too long). So, one of the episodes has a focus on a girl with ADHD. While I already have most part of the story assembled, I’d like to talk with some people that have the experience to get a better view and extra relatability and representation points for the scenes (oh yeah!!). So if someones up to talking a little bit with a nerd I would be very thankful.
