I'm gonna take a walk...
Thatâs a little confusing but, if you say soâŠ
Nice to meet you too, Constance.
Whoâs Lilian? I thought this was Tateâs house.Â
You'll understand in time, dear.
No, no, Lillian is the current owner of the house. Although, Tate is a permanent resident, he has been for many years. He is just so attached to this place, it's impossible to get him to leave.
Ooc:
I promise I'll reblog Tate over the next few days, been really busy lately. D:
I'm gonna take a walk...
I donât think so⊠Iâm just staying for a couple of days.
My name is Derek. And you might be
Ah, that's what they all say. But this house... this house draws you to it. Once you're here, you'll never leave.
It is such a pleasure to meet you, Derek. I'm Constance Langdon, I live next door to this old place.
I don't recall seeing you round here before. I also don't recall Lillian telling me about having a family member who goes by the name of Derek...
I'm gonna take a walk...
This house is so empty, I need human contact.
In time, you'll grow used to the emptiness of the house. I, myself, grew quite fond of the peace and quiet.
And just who are you, young man?

The runaway child. || Constance&Tate.
Tate was mulling around in the basement, taking notes. He had plans for Halloween, but the plans needed to be kicked up a notch due to his idiocy. He scribbled in his notebook, getting distracted at times through sketching and Larryâs girls playing tea party with Travis. It made him miss Michael. Itâd been so long since heâd seen his son. He wished for some way he could see the boy every day, but he knew it wasnât possible.
He grumbled underneath his breath as he heard the familiar, nails-on-a-chalkboard voice of his mother. However, his ears immediately perked up at the sound of her tone, knowing that something had to be wrong. It was the same tone she used when Addie would sneak off into the Murder House, pestering Chad and Patrick. She used to tell Tate she was afraid the queens would corrupt Addie in some way, leading her down the path to destruction.
He stepped out from the shadows, scowling at her. âWhat do you want?â he asked, trying to maintain his stubborn nature despite being genuinely concerned.
As the voice of her son echoed from the shadows behind her, Constance's search to find the light switch became increasingly more desperate. Before she could address him about the disappearance of her grandchild, she felt like she needed to study his already familiar face and take in every inch of the perfection that had been cruelly stolen from the world, long before its time was due. It took just a few urgent seconds for her to find the old, broken switch and flick it, before swiftly turning to face her child. A small smile crossed her lips as her eyes ran over the beauty that stood before her, taking in every detail she could before reaching out to stroke his face gently, like she used to when he was younger after he had sweetly begged for her forgiveness when he had been caught doing something he should not have been doing.Â
When she was sure she had analysed every single line and crease that sat on Tate's face, she pulled her hand away and sighed, before moving over to a chair that sat alone in the corner of the basement, staggering slightly as she advanced towards it. As she smoothed out the back of her dress before sitting down, she let a state of calmness pass through her, a reassuring voice in the back of her mind telling her that everything was okay and she had not failed her duty as a mother. 'I have come to enquire about the whereabouts of Michael,' she started, trying to appear as calm and composed as possible as the reassuring voice disappeared and the fear of losing her grandchild returned.Â

The runaway child. || Constance&Tate.
Constance was sure her heart had never beaten so fast in her life. She staggered quickly to the gates of the Murder House, stopping to lean against the bars and stare up at the dark windows that hid many secrets from the world as the fresh alcohol found its way into her bloodstream. Her reputation as a good mother depended on whether or not her grandson was hiding behind those big windows, waiting to be found by the woman who had given up the past 5 years of her life to protect him from all harm. After staring idly at the windows for a moment, she slowly eased herself upright, her head pounding from the sudden movement. When she was sure she had completely gained her balance, she pressed on, speed-walking towards the huge door that stood in front of her.Â
She had never knocked, nor would she ever knock, the brass door knocker on the door that was now directly in front of her face. After gently smoothing out her red silk dress, she pushed the door open, stepping hastily inside and closing the heavy door behind her. Her finger shot out as she moved into the house, brushing against each crevice in the wall. Every inch she touched brought back horrific memories of the times she had owned the house, almost as if the walls had held the secrets they had been told by the Langdon family since the moment the family had moved in. When she reached the corner that held the door to the basement, she drew her finger away from the wall, looking at it in disgust before wiping the dust that had gathered on it onto a nearby curtain. That goddamn maid never does her job correctly, a sudden hatred towards the maid that had seduced her husband rushed through her body, almost quicker than the alcohol had just minutes before.Â
As she moved around the corner, she couldn't help but expect the worst. After all the pain and heartache she had been through in her lifetime, she was more than accustomed to expecting the negative side of things more than the positive. Her hand shook slightly as she reached out hesitantly to open the door that lead down to the dark, damp basement, where her son spent most of his time - in life and in death. As the door creaked open, she started climbing down the steps, the alcohol that ran through her blood causing her to stumble slightly. 'Tate? I need to talk to you,' she called as she reached the bottom of the stairs, her hand fumbling round on the wall beside her, searching for a light switch so she could light up the pitch black room and study her surroundings for her son.Â
I am so proud of you, Addy. I admire you so for what you were able to overcome. And I think you were beautiful. Addy, I think you were the most beautiful girl I ever met.
ooc: hey , you are such a great Constance *---* congrats
Ooc:
Thank you so much! It means a lot.Â
An empty bed...
Constance reluctantly opened her aching eyes, observing the room around her from her place on the couch for signs of Michael. Her head hammered as she sat up slightly, the alcohol she had drunk just hours before still flowing through her blood. 'Michael, it's breakfast time,' she called quietly, reaching out for the glass of wine that was sat on the table in front of her whilst she waited for a reply from her grandson. She swirled the glass, tilting her head to the side slightly and watching the red liquid spin rhythmically, before taking a long sip. As the last slither of wine ran down her throat, she looked towards the door, expecting Michael to appear after hearing his mother call his name. 'Michael?' she called again, louder this time. The sudden noise made her head throb to the point she felt she could vomit, but she managed to hold it in.Â
Her heart hammered against her chest as she realised she couldn't even hear her beloved grandson in any of the rooms surrounding her. At this time of morning, she could usually hear him talking to his imaginary friends or playing with his toy guns. But today was different. The house was deadly quiet. Too quiet. The sudden fear of losing Michael made her blood pump faster, making her slightly more sober than she had been previously. She rose to her feet, hastily walking towards the door. She scanned the hallway, glancing into the cold, empty kitchen before taking four short steps towards the stairs and climbing them. 'Michael?!' she called out again urgently, stopping for a moment on the stairs to listen for his reply. Jesus H. Christ, I do wish he'd stop making me worry so goddamn much, I had enough of this with his father, she thought to herself angrily, unable to stop the thoughts of Tate's childhood from crossing her mind. She snapped out of it quickly and headed towards Michael's bedroom. She peered through his door, expecting him to be sat on his bed, smiling coyly up at her, just as he usually would be.Â
As she registered the empty bedroom that lay in front of her, she almost thought she was in a dream. Constance, don't be so stupid. Of course he hasn't run away, perhaps he's just in the backyard, the words comforted her, giving her hope that her sweet little angel was safe and sound. She took large, quick steps back down the stairs, coming to a halt by the open front door, which she had failed to acknowledge due to the overwhelming fear of the thought of losing her grandson. My one job was to ensure that Michael was kept safe and that nothing bad would ever come of him and I have failed that job. I have failed myse- nonsense. I am a great mother. I have always given him - and my other sweet, sweet angels - all he has wanted and needed and protected him infinitely. He is just playing childish games with me in order to gain attention. No doubt he has just gone to see his father round at the house, she thought to herself, stepping out into her front yard and closing her front door behind her. She peered over at the dark house that sat lifelessly next door and then began to take quick paced steps towards her front gate. She was prepared to waste no time in hunting down her grandson.Â

Okay so, I'm stepping out now. When I get back, I promise I'll reblog Myka and write a self para. (Dammit Michael why can't you be a good little boy?!)Â
I love you all. <3Â
ooc: Plot twist: I want to kill myself.
Group hug anyone?
ooc: can you post a picture of you ?
Ooc: Erm, okay, sure.
It's quiet around here today.
Why are you here, Constance? I know it canât have been just to lecture me and inform me of how much you suffered. Iâm aware. I was there, remember? Every goddamn day. Every time you could lift your head from the couch pillow to make sure your teenage son got home safe, when you were too busy throwing things and screaming at Addie. Save the lies for someone who hasnât been around this family, for someone who doesnât know. Of course. I suppose until youâve died within these walls and have no recollection of how it happened, you wonât fully understand either.
God, I bet you did a real number on my mother and her parenting, huh?
No! I thought he was just .. angry. I brushed it off and maybe I shouldnât have. For fuckâs sake, I would have stopped him had I know why he .. He made me promise, I couldnât go back on that. But if I had known he was going to kill all of those kids, I would have done something about it.
Not that it is any of your business, but Michael appears to have wandered off and I am sure he has come to to see his father.Â
Despite believing that you know everything that went on in my family, I must point out that you weren't there throughout every single day of Tate's life. You have missed some quite significant events and without knowledge of these events, I suggest that you keep your goddamn nose out of situations that have nothing to do with you, because you are missing out on some very vital facts that may just change the way you look at my family's situation.Â
I would never do such a thing to my beautiful Addie. Of course, there were times when I would discipline her because she had misbehaved, but I never shouted at her without good reason. That would be against my nature as a mother.Â
Of course you shouldn't have brushed it off. If he was showing signs of anger, you should have shown concern, just as Lawrence and I had. However, Tate wouldn't talk to us about what was going on in his mind, he only trusted you. I clearly remember asking you what was going on and you wouldn't tell me...
But, that cannot be changed now. No matter how much I want it, I can never go back in time and change things to how they should have been.Â
It's quiet around here today.
Happened to you? Christ, you think youâre the only one thatâs suffered? Look around you. Given, I thought you were a lot of things, Ms. Langdon. But weak was never one of them.
I didnât give him the guns to do what he did. I never knew he was going to shoot up Westfield. He talked about it .. I never took him seriously. Iâm not the purest of people, you and I both know that. But, I would never condone murder. Donât pin your precious angelâs downfalls on me. I wasnât even around for most of them.
I am more than aware that I'm not the only person who has suffered, but I do feel that I am the one who has suffered the most. Throughout my life, tragedy has been the most natural thing to me, however, none of the things that happened before the loss of my family really mattered to me. Since my husband had his cruel affair and ran away with his mistress, leaving me alone to care for my children as a single mother, my world has completely revolved around them and - Jesus Christ, why am I telling you such things? My attempts to make you understand will always be futile, as you will never go through what I have been through in order to gain full understanding of my situation.Â
Mothers can never be weak, it wouldn't be at all beneficial for children to see their mother go through times of weakness.
Your lies are pitiful, Myka. Deep down inside, you must have known that he was always serious about his intentions to end his classmates' lives in such a horrific and tragic way.Â
