Something that strikes me about male confusion over Harry and his personality/“branding” is that it reveals something about them and men in general. They think Harry is disingenuous because they don’t understand why someone powerful in the ways Harry is, for example, rich or charismatic, wouldn’t use that power to be aggressively dominant or to enjoy the spoils of those advantages. They don’t get it because if it were them in Harry’s position, they’d be taking advantage in all the terrible ways men have been for years, by being mean, aggressive, unkind, entitled, sexually exploitative and abusive. They think male celebrity equals power which equals domination
