My 2nd render of Bashful in a yoga outfit.
I don’t own Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, The 7D or the character Bashful. All rights belong to Disney Enterprises, Sherri Stoner, & Tom Ruegger
Bashful in a red poncho! So mystical🍂✨

Let’s celebrate and give a big "Hi-ho!" to the 12th anniversary of this underrated Disney XD show! 🎉✨
When The 7D first premiered back in 2014, my siblings and I weren't sure what to think. We were pretty skeptical at first and didn't know if we'd enjoy this fresh take on the Seven Dwarfs (because we knew the 1937 movie but didn’t watch it). But after giving it a chance, we ended up liking it! Twelve years later, it still brings back so many wonderful memories. It's one of those shows that always gives me a little smile whenever I revisit it, and I'm so grateful I gave it a chance all those years ago. Here's to 12 years of laughter, adventures, and plenty of "Hi-ho!" Happy Anniversary, The 7D! 💎⛏️
Comic Title: Laundry Day Mix-Up
Bashful has spent all morning wondering why his clothes suddenly feel so... futuristic.
He's wearing a red bomber jacket over a white T-shirt, blue jeans, and black sneakers.
Bashful: (looking down) These are definitely not my pants.
Meanwhile, across town, Fry is having a very different problem.
He's wearing a lime/pear green striped shirt and a matching hat with holes for the eyes and yellowish-gray pants with red-orange shoes.
Fry: Why are these pants so drafty?
After asking around, both eventually track down the mysterious owner of their missing clothes.
They turn a corner and accidentally collide.
Bashful/Fry: Hey!
They both freeze.
Bashful looks up at a tall man with fair skin and bright ginger hair with two spikes at the front .
Fry looks down at a short, bearded dwarf dressed in his usual outfit.
A long silence follows.
Fry: ...Are you a leprechaun?
Bashful: What?
Fry: And why do you sound like me?
Bashful: Why do you sound like me?
Another pause.
Fry: Fair point.
Bashful: Can I have my clothes back?
Fry: Can I have my clothes back?
They both look at each other's outfits.
Bashful: ...Oh.
Fry: ...Oh.
Five minutes later
Both are back in their own clothes.
Bashful: Well, nice meeting you.
Fry: Same.
They start walking away.
Fry: Wait.
Bashful: Yeah?
Fry: You're really not a leprechaun?
Bashful: I'm a dwarf.
Fry: Huh. Somehow that's weirder.
Bashful: That's usually how people react.
The final panel could show Fry holding up Bashful's hat.
Fry: Maybe we're related.
Bashful: I don't think dwarfs and humans work that way.
Fry: Good point.
Fry: So you're telling me we're completely unrelated, from different worlds, and somehow sound identical?
Bashful: Apparently.
Fry: That's lazy casting.
Bashful: What's casting?
Fry: Never mind.
Haha.. Oh yeah... Two character's - one voice actor👍))))
Btw, I don't think casting is poor or lazy... Billy West doing pretty well
Here’s my version:
At a futuristic laundromat somewhere between the worlds of The 7D and Futurama, Bashful nervously waits for his clothes to finish drying while Fry is busy trying to figure out why the washing machines accept "space quarters." A mix-up happens when both grab the wrong laundry baskets.
A few minutes later… Bashful emerges wearing Fry's outfit: a red windbreaker jacket, white T-shirt, blue jeans, and black sneakers with gray soles. Surprisingly, he looks a lot more confident than usual.
Fry walks out wearing Bashful's giant green striped hat with eye holes, matching tunic, and little orange shoes. In the laundromat, Fry might not even notice anything is wrong at first.
Fry: "Huh. These clothes feel a little itchy."
Then he walks past a mirror.
Fry: "…Wait." He slowly backs up.
Fry: "Why do I suddenly look like a St. Patrick’s version of myself?"
Meanwhile, Bashful is wearing Fry's jacket and jeans, and because his hair is already sticking up in multiple directions, the resemblance is uncanny.
A random customer sees them standing side-by-side.
Customer: "Whoa. Are you brothers?"
Fry: "No."
Bashful: "No."
Customer: "Twins?"
Both: "NO."
Customer: Okay then.
The customer walks away unconvinced.
Bashful turns back to Fry
Bashful: "Uh… excuse me… I think you might have my clothes."
Fry: "Wait a second…"
They both freeze.
Then they both speak in exactly the same voice at the same time.
Both: "Hey, you sound just like me!"
Awkward silence.
Fry: "Okay, that's weird."
Bashful: "Really weird."
Fry: "Stop copying me."
Bashful: "I'm not copying you."
Fry: "I said stop it!"
Bashful: "You stop it!"
A crowd gathers because it sounds like one person arguing with himself.
The laundromat owner thinks he's witnessing some kind of dimensional echo.
Then Fry tries on the giant floppy hat correctly. Suddenly his posture changes.
Fry:"Gee whiz, maybe I should be more polite and considerate."
Bashful: "And maybe I should stop being so shy."
Having worn each other's clothes for several minutes, they've somehow swapped personalities too.
Later, Leela arrives looking for Fry. She spots Bashful first.
Leela: "Fry!"
Bashful: (blushing furiously) "M-me?" Leela: "Why are you suddenly so polite?"
Bashful: "I-I don't know what to say…" Leela: "Okay, that's definitely not Fry."
At the same time, Queen Delightful finds Fry. Queen Delightful: "Bashful! There you are!"
Fry: "Actually, I'm Fry." Queen Delightful: "Of course you are, Bashful."
Fry: "No, really." Queen Delightful: "And I'm the Queen of Mars."
Fry looks at her hair, thinking why does it look like a restaurant clown. Fry: "Well, that sounds believable, honestly." The confusion gets worse when both characters stand next to each other:
• Same voice. • Similar orange hair. • Same worried-looking eyes. • Same awkward body language. The only obvious difference is that one has a giant orange beard and one doesn't.
Then Fry borrows a fake beard from a costume machine. Everyone immediately loses track of who's who.
Grumpy: "Happy, which one's Bashful?" Happy: "I have absolutely no idea."
Leela: "Which one's Fry?" Bender: "The one making poor life decisions."
Both: "Hey!" Bender: "That didn't help."
Eventually they exchange clothes back. The personality effects immediately vanish.
Fry: "Whew. Being responsible was exhausting." Bashful: "Talking to strangers was terrifying."
Fry: "Well, it was nice meeting you, little gnome" Bashful: "I’m not a gnome, I’m a dwarf."
Fry: (shrugs) "Tomato tomahto."
Both: "Bye!"
As they leave, they hear each other say "Bye" in the exact same voice.
They both turn around, confused and shocked.
And somewhere in the distance, it shows a live-action shot of Billy West probably feeling a mysterious disturbance in the Force.
By the end of the day, the laundromat owner puts up a sign: NOTICE: Customers who look and sound exactly alike are asked not to swap clothes, identities, or dimensions while using the facility.
THE END
PLEAS... GUYS...

Here’s a digital drawing of Bashful’s magical kitty from my fanfic! His name is Sunny☀️
Species: Golden Sundrop of Sanatio
Gender: Male
Age: 100 years old (physically a kitten)
Affiliation: Bashful, The 7D
Appearance
Sunny is a magical marigold-orange kitten with emerald-green eyes, yellow sclerae, and slit pupils.
He can transform into a golden jaguar with cream markings and distinctive sun-shaped spots.
Personality
Sunny is affectionate, playful, curious, and fiercely loyal. Though gentle by nature, he will bravely protect the 7D, especially Bashful.
History
Sunny is one of the last Golden Sundrops of Sanatio, a magical feline species created when 7 white kittens were healed by drops of golden sunlight. Blessed with healing powers, eternal youth, and jaguar transformations, the species was believed to have gone extinct after the 2nd separation of the Rock of Sages.
Bashful found Sunny alone in the forest with a thorn in his paw. After removing it, Sunny quickly bonded with him, and Bashful brought him along his journey.
Powers and Abilities
Healing (cannot heal himself)
Jaguar transformation
Eternal youth
Sunlight-powered magic
Trivia
Sanatio is Latin for "healing."
Sunny's jaguar form is recognized by the sun-shaped spots.
He enjoys riding on Bashful's shoulder and hiding inside his beard.
Sunny got sun/healing powers the same way the Sundrop Flower grew (Tangled and the 7D take place in the same universe)
Bashful is wearing Fry’s outfit? What a mix-up!
Inspiration came from this!
Draw your Charlie and Vaggie in their party dresses from the season 2 finale but your own take on them! (They are a hot mess ngl)
Hazbin Masterpost
So I just tried a few different options, and haven't decided on one. Feel free to share opinions on them.
I tried a few different styles that have the same general vibe as the ones from the show. The top row I kept closer to the original colors, just to focus on the style. I know I drew Vaggie reversed from the direction it was in the show. The way I had posed her for the drawing just worked better to show it that way. I can reverse it later if necessary.
Second row I just made a couple slight color adjustments. For example, I don't like the white edge of her top being right next to her literally white skin. Hot mess indeed. I also tried out some gloves and boots/leggings for Vaggie.
This next page was experimenting more with colors. I just picked a dress to use for it. It's not necessarily the one I settled on. For Vaggie, I think I'm leaning toward either the top middle or top right. For Charlie, I don't really know which I prefer.
Oh! Or I could do something for Vaggie where it's closer to her commercial outfit/pilot 30s dress.
These 2 options are PEAK!!
The Royal Wedding Crisis (the 7D fanfic)
Chapter 5: The Dance After the Storm
**[Scene: Jollywood Castle, with wooden support beams for the damaged parts— during and after the wedding]**
Against all odds, the royal wedding between Queen Delightful and Lord Starchbottom had gone off without another interruption after the dragon attack.
(Inaudible montage of the ceremony and vows)
During the vows, Starchbottom’s mother was wiping at her eyes, and, much to everyone’s surprise, Grumpy was doing the same, but with his beard.
Sir Yipsalot being the ring bearer, brought the rings, the newlyweds shared a kiss, and Starchbottom swept Queen Delightful into a graceful dip at the same time. The crowd erupted into applause and joyful cheers, while excited conversations buzzed through the air around them.
It was beautiful.
No dark storms.
No collapsing towers.
No giant magical reptiles.
Just celebration.
The after-party is in full swing.
The dwarfs of The 7D dance wildly near the center of the courtyard while guests cheer and clap around them.
Happy is somehow leading three different dance circles simultaneously.
Grumpy looks deeply offended to be participating but is still keeping rhythm perfectly.
Sleepy is slow dancing with a lantern while half asleep.
Doc is explaining “the mathematical precision of celebratory movement” to confused guests.
And Dopey is spinning glow sticks dangerously close to the cake table.
[Scene: Courtyard edge — later that night]
A little farther from the crowd, Bashful stands quietly near the edge of the celebration.
The golden-furred magical kitten sits calmly the table, blinking at the floating lights overhead while licking a piece of cake.
Bashful watches the kingdom around him.
The music.
The laughter.
Queen Delightful smiling happily beside her new husband.
A few days ago, the sight would have shattered him.
Now…
It only aches a little.
And somehow, that feels important.
He takes a slow breath.
Bashful: ...Okay.
He straightens slightly.
Bashful: Now or never.
The kitten gives a tiny encouraging meow.
Bashful smiles nervously.
Then slowly walks toward the balcony overlooking the celebration.
[Scene: Balcony — quieter corner of the celebration]
The noise of the party fades softer here.
Lantern light glows gently against the castle walls while distant music drifts through the night air.
Queen Delightful stands near the balcony railing, watching the celebration below with a warm smile.
Bashful hesitates for exactly three full seconds before speaking.
Bashful: Your Majesty... can I talk to you?
Queen Delightful turns kindly.
As always, her expression is gentle.
Queen Delightful: Of course, Bashful.
A pause follows.
Bashful immediately begins fidgeting with his hands.
Then his sleeves.
Then his bowtie.
Then accidentally the kitten.
The kitten meows in protest.
Bashful: S-sorry.
He takes another breath.
This one shakier.
Bashful: I just... I need to say something I should’ve said a long time ago.
He swallows hard.
Looks down and takes off his hat..
Then finally forces himself to say it.
Bashful: I... I’ve always had feelings for you.
Silence settles softly between them.
The music from below continues faintly in the distance.
The kitten tilts its head.
Bashful freezes completely after finally saying it aloud, like his body no longer knows how to function.
Bashful: I just... had to say it.
He laughs nervously.
Bashful: Even if it doesn’t change anything.
Queen Delightful looks at him gently.
Then slowly raises a hand.
Queen Delightful: Bashful...
A small pause.
Queen Delightful: I know.
Bashful blinks.
Once.
Twice.
Then his entire brain visibly stalls.
Bashful: You... knew?
Queen Delightful nods softly.
Queen Delightful: Yes.
Queen Delightful: I’ve known for a long time.
Bashful stares in complete disbelief.
Bashful: Then why didn’t you say anything?
Queen Delightful’s expression turns more sympathetic.
Not awkward.
Not uncomfortable.
Just honest.
Queen Delightful: Because I didn’t want to hurt you. And I have feelings for you too, but not like that.
She steps a little closer.
Queen Delightful: I knew I couldn’t feel the same way... and I hoped you’d understand in time.
A long quiet settles over the balcony.
Not cruel.
Not angry.
Just real.
[Quick clip montage]
— Bashful fainting dramatically around Queen Delightful (Various Season 1 moments)
— Bashful singing to her at the Jollypalooza Concert ("Bathtub Bashful")
— Bashful being dubbed a knight ("Knight School")
— Bashful actually getting kissed by her ("The Jollywood Games")
— Bashful wandering through the forest with the kitten
— Bashful training with the Fairy Guru
— Bashful standing calmly in meditation
— Bashful finally smiling without forcing it
[Back to balcony]
Bashful exhales slowly.
And for the first time…
The breath doesn’t shake.
Bashful (softly): So I was holding onto something that wasn’t meant to be.
Queen Delightful nods gently.
Queen Delightful: Sometimes love is also letting go. But we’re still friends.
Bashful looks down at the glowing kitten curled against his shoulder.
Then out across Jollywood.
The lanterns.
The music.
The people he cares about.
The life still moving forward.
A small, peaceful smile forms across his face.
Not heartbroken.
Not pretending.
Just peaceful.
Bashful: She’s happy...
A beat.
Bashful: That’s enough.
From below, loud voices suddenly interrupt the emotional moment.
Happy (offscreen): BASHFUL! GET OVER HERE!
Grumpy (offscreen): HE’S ESCAPING THE DANCING AGAIN!
Sleepy (offscreen): Wake me up if there’s cake...
Bashful laughs softly despite himself and puts his hat back on.
Queen Delightful smiles warmly.
Queen Delightful: Go enjoy the celebration. (gives him a hug)
Bashful returns it and nods.
But then, Starchbottom walks over to him and says something very important.
King Starchbottom: Thank you... for saving our wedding.
Bashful: Take good care of her.
King Starchbottom: Always.
And Bashful joins the others without hesitation.
[Scene: Castle courtyard — celebration continues]
The dwarfs immediately drag Bashful back into the celebration.
Happy spins him directly into the dance circle before he can protest.
Happy: Come on, dance!
Bashful: I-I don’t really—
Happy: TOO LATE!
Bashful stumbles awkwardly at first—
Then slowly starts laughing.
Actually laughing.
The kitten bounces happily on his shoulder while the music swells around them.
After a moment, Bashful glances toward Happy.
Bashful: Hey, Happy?
Happy: Yeah, pal?
Bashful: Can I still join your classes?
Happy gasps dramatically.
Happy: Really?!
Bashful smiles and slightly blushes.
Bashful: Maybe every Wednesday?
Happy immediately throws an arm around him.
Happy: Sure, pal. I’d love that.
Nearby, Sleepy raises a hand sleepily.
Sleepy: Do yoga naps count as classes?
Grumpy: No.
Sleepy: Then I’ve wasted weeks of training.
They laugh.
The music rises higher.
Lanterns continue floating into the endless night sky above Jollywood.
And standing among his friends, Bashful finally realizes something important:
Moving on does not mean forgetting.
It means growing.
Not because he got everything he wanted.
But because he finally found himself again.
The camera slowly pulls back from the glowing kingdom below.
(A black heart shaped iris shot closes in)
The End
Notes: The scene where Queen Delightful tells Bashful she knew about his crush for her is a reference to the Gravity Falls episode, "The Bunker" where Wendy lets Dipper down easy that she knew about Dipper having feelings for her, she’s too old for him but they’re still friends. TBH Starchbottom x Delightful (AKA jolly royals) is better than Bashful x Delightful cause it feels more natural + realistic and not one-sided + a running gag.
The Royal Wedding Crisis (the 7D fanfic)
Chapter 4: Dragons Over Jollywood
Announcer: And now, back to The 7D, on Disney XD!
Timestamp: 20 Minutes Earlier **[Scene: Jollywood Castle — wedding day chaos]**
Jollywood Castle glows with celebration.
Golden ribbons flutter from every tower. Musicians play triumphant wedding music in the courtyard while Happy was orchestrated. Guests laugh beneath sparkling banners while servants rush back and forth carrying cakes, flowers, and enough glitter to permanently alter the kingdom’s ecosystem.
In her changing room, Queen Delightful wore her platinum-blonde hair in a curly hip-length French braid. She was dressed in an off-shoulder baby pink fishtail gown with short, opaque cap sleeves, a V-shaped waistline and reddish-pink kitten heels, accessorized with a golden yellow tiara/light pink veil, along with turquoise teardrop dangle earrings and a matching necklace with 5 teardrop-shaped gems.
In his changing room, Starchbottom wore a cream-yellow button-up shirt beneath an olive-green tuxedo with mid-length coattails and a kiwi green bowtie, a brownish-black cummerbund, and matching oxford shoes with black laces. He completed the look with an olive green top hat featuring a teal band and a matching teal boutonnière.
He was nervously straightening any wrinkles in his tuxedo and bowtie, all while trying and failing to keep his cool. Starchy never thought he would get married, let alone get married to the Queen of Jollywood. So he gives himself a pep talk,
Starchbottom: (straightens his bowtie and takes a deep breath) All right, Starchy. You've handled dragons, royal disasters, and years of Queen Delightful's wonderfully unpredictable ideas. You can handle one little wedding. Besides... somewhere along the way, you fell in love with the sweetest, most delightfully scatterbrained queen in the kingdom.
(He smiles.)
(Then straightens his hat.)
Starchbottom: You're not just marrying the Queen of Jollywood... you're marrying the love of your life.
Everything is perfect.
Until it suddenly isn’t.
A massive shadow slowly rolls across the sky.
The sunlight disappears.
One by one, guests begin noticing the darkness overhead.
The music falters.
The wind grows colder.
Guest: Is that... weather?
Doc: That is not normal weather.
A deep rumble shakes the ground hard enough to rattle the castle windows.
Several guests scream.
One wedding cake tips sideways dramatically before a servant catches it at the last second.
[Scene: Above Jollywood]
Lightning tears across the clouds.
The storm twists violently overhead like the sky itself is being ripped open.
Then—
Two enormous shapes emerge from the darkness.
Wings like torn shadows.
Eyes glowing with magical fury.
Towering scales crackling with dark energy.
Hildy Gloom and Grim Gloom have transformed into gigantic mega-dragons.
The entire kingdom freezes in horror.
Hildy (roaring): FINALLY! POWER FIT FOR A QUEEN!
Grim (echoing): AND A KING!
The dragons circle the castle, unleashing blasts of dark magic that twist banners into knots, bend towers sideways, and send wedding decorations flying in every direction.
Confetti explodes accidentally into the storm like festive panic.
[Scene: Castle ballroom]
Inside the castle, chaos erupts instantly.
Guests duck beneath tables.
Royal guards scramble in every direction.
Someone runs past carrying three flower arrangements and screaming.
Queen Delightful stands firm despite the panic around her.
She stares upward through the shattered ceiling windows, shocked—but determined.
Queen Delightful: Not on my wedding day...
Lord Starchbottom nervously straightens his bowtie while trying very hard to appear composed.
Lord Starchbottom: This is... not ideal.
Another explosion shakes the castle.
He immediately runs towards Queen Delightful (without looking at her dress) and shields her.
Cut back to present time
[Scene: Forest edge outside Jollywood]
A lone figure appears at the tree line.
It is Bashful.
But not the same Bashful who left.
His movements are steady now. Focused. Calm in a way that feels earned instead of forced.
The golden-furred magical kitten pops out of his beard, watching the burning sky with glowing green eyes.
Bashful stares at the kingdom in shock.
Smoke rises above the towers.
Dark magic crackles across the clouds.
Screams echo faintly in the distance.
Bashful: ...So that’s what the smoke was.
A long pause.
Then slowly—
He rips off the top portion of his hat.
He tears away his shoulder sleeves, turning them into elbow-length fingerless gloves.
He unties his red poncho and fastens it into a flowing cape.
The wind shifts dramatically around him.
He closes his eyes.
Breathes in.
Breathes out.
Bashful: Okay.
He steps forward.
Bashful: No more running.
The air suddenly surges with energy.
His expression sharpens instantly.
Confidence replaces hesitation.
Fear burns away into determination.
Because of this moment—
Big Bash: The Big Bash is back!
The kitten meows proudly—
Then suddenly glows with golden magic.
Its tiny form rapidly transforms into a powerful jaguar with glowing markings shaped like suns.
Big Bash grins.
Big Bash: Now that’s new.
The jaguar lowers itself.
Big Bash leaps onto its back.
Big Bash: Heigh-ho Sunny, away!
[Scene: Battle begins]
The mega-dragons dive toward the castle.
Guests scream below.
Dark magic blasts through the air—
Then suddenly—
A golden yellow blur rockets across the battlefield.
Big Bash: HEY! OVERGROWN LIZARDS!!
A magical blast fires toward him.
Big Bash flips sideways off the jaguar midair, narrowly dodging the explosion before landing perfectly again.
Big Bash: You picked the wrong wedding!
The jaguar sprints up the side of a collapsing tower with impossible agility.
Chunks of stone fall away beneath them.
Then—
They launch directly toward the dragons.
[Scene: Inside castle — the 7D assemble]
The remaining dwarfs watch the battle from a shattered castle window.
Happy’s jaw drops.
Happy: The Big Bash is out there alone?!
Grumpy: He picked the worst timing for hero mode.
Doc: Then we assist scientifically!
Sleepy: Can we assist after a nap?
Dopey: heroic excited whistling
Another explosion shakes the room.
Happy points dramatically toward the battlefield.
Happy: LET’S GO HELP HIM!
All: Heigh-Ho!
The dwarfs charge out together.
Sleepy somehow falls asleep for three seconds while running.
[Scene: Sky battle — chaos intensifies]
The battle over Jollywood becomes absolute chaos.
Lightning crashes through the clouds.
Dark magic spirals across the sky.
The dragons unleash a massive shockwave that rattles the kingdom.
Big Bash and the jaguar barely dodge it.
Big Bash: Okay... they got bigger.
The jaguar suddenly leaps upward and releases a powerful magical pulse from its glowing markings.
The blast disrupts the dragons’ spell midair.
Dark magic flickers violently.
Big Bash: ...Huh.
Big Bash: Good cat.
The jaguar roars proudly.
But Grim and Hildy recover far too quickly.
Grim (roaring): YOU CANNOT STOP US!
Hildy: JOLLYWOOD BELONGS TO THE GLOOMS!
The dragons unleash another devastating wave of magic.
Big Bash blocks falling debris with his staff while protecting civilians below.
Even he begins struggling against the overwhelming power.
[Scene: Reinforcements arrive]
Suddenly—
A familiar whistle echoes across the battlefield.
The rest of The 7D arrive.
Happy: Big Bash! You’re not alone!
Grumpy: Unfortunately.
Doc: We’ve calculated a group strategy!
Sleepy: I calculated a nap earlier...
Dopey: determined whistling
The dwarfs leap into action immediately.
Happy distracts the dragons with impossible optimism.
Grumpy smashes unstable debris before it crushes civilians.
Doc redirects magical currents using improvised scientific nonsense.
Sleepy accidentally snores loudly enough to disrupt a spell circle.
And Dopey somehow launches himself from a catapult wagon and crashes directly into Grim’s nose.
Nobody knows how.
Not even Dopey.
[Final confrontation — sky above Jollywood]
The storm spirals violently overhead as dark magic and light collide.
Big Bash looks around at his friends fighting beside him.
For the first time, he doesn’t feel alone.
Not because his heartbreak vanished.
But because he finally understands something bigger than it.
The fairy’s words echo faintly in his mind.
"Love is not possession."
Big Bash tightens his grip on his staff.
Breathes steadily.
Focuses.
Big Bash: THIS ENDS NOW!
The dwarfs combine their efforts together, creating a massive counter-wave of harmony against the Glooms’ chaos.
Light erupts through the storm.
Big Bash and the jaguar leap directly into the center of it.
He channels everything he learned:
Calm.
Focus.
Courage.
Friendship.
And finally—
Acceptance.
A massive burst of combined rainbow-colored energy explodes outward across the sky.
The mega-dragons are engulfed in brilliant light.
[Scene: Aftermath]
Silence.
Then—
The storm vanishes completely.
Sunlight pours back across Jollywood.
Hildy and Grim crash into a tangled pile of enchanted vines and groan.
Grim: Ow...
Hildy: This is all your fault!
Grim: My fault?! You're the one who wanted to become giant dragons!
Hildy: And who added extra dragon teeth to the potion?!
Grim: I thought it would make us extra dragon-y!
Hildy: Well, it made us extra defeated!
The guards surround them.
Guard: Don't move!
Grim: Worst wedding ever.
Hildy: Agreed.
Grim: We didn't even get cake.
Hildy: GRIM!
[Scene: Castle courtyard]
The wedding is saved.
Guests cheer loudly.
The musicians cautiously resume playing.
Someone finishes throwing confetti several minutes too late.
Queen Delightful approaches the dwarfs warmly.
Queen Delightful: You all saved Jollywood.
Lord Starchbottom adjusts his outfit, trying desperately to recover his dignity.
Lord Starchbottom: I handled that remarkably well.
A nearby guest stares at him.
Guest: You hid inside a cake cart.
Lord Starchbottom: Strategically.
Nearby, Big Bash slowly relaxes.
Big Bash smiles faintly.
A real smile this time.
Big Bash (quietly): ...Maybe I didn’t waste the journey after all.
The rest of The 7D gather around him proudly.
Happy: You did good, Big Bash.
Grumpy: Don’t get used to it.
Sleepy: Is it nap time now?
Doc: Heroically speaking, that was exceptional teamwork.
Dopey: victory whistle
Big Bash chuckles softly.
Then glances toward the wedding decorations.
Toward Queen Delightful.
Toward the life he thought he wanted.
And for the first time...
It doesn’t hurt anymore.
He steps backward toward the forest.
Big Bash: Gotta go. Someone’s waiting for you near the entrance.
He gives a confident wink—
Then rides off into the forest atop the glowing jaguar as the wind catches his cape dramatically behind him.
The others watch him disappear into the trees.
Sleepy: Winkers! What are we going to do now that the castle is half-destroyed? Doc: Together, we can rebuild—
Suddenly, Bashful (AKA the big bash) comes running in with the kitten on his shoulder. He was wearing a lime and pear green striped tuxedo with a light olive green bow tie, a vermillion boutonnière, pear green dress pants, and cedar brown loafers.
Bashful: Guys! I'm here! (panting)
(He looks around at the courtyard.)
Bashful: (feigning surprise) Whoa! What did I miss?

Notes: Bashful riding on the kitten/jaguar is a reference to Maya & the Three, with the titular character having a giant battle cat and often accompanies his masters into battle
• Big Bash’s new design is a nod to @viarbarakit’s version
• Queen Delightful’s earrings are nearly similar to the earrings she wore as her persona, Lotta Glamour
• Bashful shouting “Heigh-ho Sunny, away!” is a obvious reference to The Lone Ranger

Chapter 3: Smoke on the Horizon
[Scene: Forest trail outside Jollywood]
Bashful continues his journey alone, still processing everything that happened back home. The forest trail is quiet, the air is soft, and for once... he isn’t spiraling.
The sound of birdsong drifts through the trees. Leaves rustle gently overhead. The farther he walks from Jollywood, the quieter his thoughts become.
For a moment, he almost feels peaceful.
Bashful: Maybe this is good. Fresh air. No castles... no weddings... no—
Rustle.
Bashful freezes instantly and grips his staff in a defensive pose.
Bashful: H-Hello? Who’s there?!
He steps toward a bush that made the noise and pokes it with his staff and quickly runs away, hiding behind a nearby tree.
There is another tiny rustle from the bushes.
Bashful: (thinking) Don’t be a snake! Don’t be a snake!
Bashful squints, leaning forward just a little.
Then something small stumbles out onto the path.
Bashful: Huh?
It is a kitten.
But not just any kitten.
It has marigold-orange fur that strangely resembles Bashful’s hair, and it almost glows in the sunlight. Its emerald-green eyes shimmer faintly like enchanted glass.
But it had a small thorn in its front paw and was meowing in pain.
Bashful: Aw, poor thing.
Bashful puts down his staff and slowly walks toward it to help. But the kitten notices him and is frightened.
“Meow!”
(POV of the kitten seeing Bashful)
Bashful: It’s okay. I’m not gonna hurt you.
He gives a tiny nervous giggle and kneels down.
Bashful: I just wanna help, that's all.
The kitten hesitates, its ears twitching uncertainly.
Bashful: See? Nice and easy.
Very carefully, he plucks the thorn from its paw.
“Meow?”
The kitten blinks, then gently places its paw on the ground. The pain is gone.
Bashful: There you go. All better.
Then, a faint shimmer of golden light flickered around Bashful's left foot.
Bashful blinked.
Bashful: ...Huh?
His foot tingled strangely for just a second before the feeling vanished.
Bashful: That was... weird.
The kitten gazes up at him for a moment before it meows happily then suddenly hops right onto the top of his hat as a way of saying “thank you”.
Bashful: (giggles) Oh! You're wel—
Before Bashful can react, the kitten launches itself down into his arms.
He immediately melts into a puddle of softness like he was hypnotized and starts cradling it like a newborn.
Bashful: Oh my gems! Look at those itty-bitty paws!
The kitten lets out a happy little purr and bats at his beard with its tiny paws.
Bashful: Aww! You're so cute! Coochie-coochie-coo—
He starts tickling its belly, completely helpless against its adorable face.
Bashful: You are the cutest kitten I’ve ever seen! YOU are! Yes, you are so precious!
Then Bashful notices something.
The kitten has no collar.
No tag.
No owner.
No clear sign of where it came from.
His smile fades a little, replaced by a gentler look.
Bashful: No name... no home...
He glances down at the kitten, who is now kneading his sleeve like it has decided he belongs to it.
Bashful: I guess you’re coming with me.
The kitten curls up instantly on his shoulder, perfectly content, as if this arrangement had been decided long before Bashful ever walked this path.
And for the first time since leaving Jollywood, Bashful smiles without forcing it.
Unbeknownst to Bashful, far away in the shadows of the Gloom lair, Hildy Gloom watches a magical tracking orb glow with the kitten’s location.
[Scene: The Glooms’ lair]
The orb swirls with images of the forest path, the mountain trail, and Bashful carrying the kitten.
Hildy leans in with a wicked grin while Grim studies the display with cold satisfaction.
Hildy: Perfect. Let the little emotional distraction do its job.
She sprinkles crushed up copperhead snake scales in the cauldron. While Grim adds a dragon tooth in it.
Grim: It will keep him off balance. Like a cross-eyed tight-roper.
Hildy: (dryly) Yeah, sure. And right where we want him.
The kitten on the orb blinks, innocent and unaware, while the Glooms exchange pleased looks.
[Scene: Mountain path — later]
Bashful climbs a steep mountain trail with the kitten riding on his shoulder like a royal passenger.
The higher he climbs, the cleaner the air feels. The wind is cooler here, and the path seems to narrow into a place meant for thinking rather than running.
For a while, Bashful says nothing.
He simply walks.
And somehow, that feels like a victory.
Bashful: Okay... I don’t know why I feel better, but I do.
He glances at the kitten perched on his shoulder.
Bashful: You’re weirdly calming. (notices the feeling in his left foot) And my foot doesn’t hurt anymore.
The kitten purrs loudly, almost as if it understands exactly what he means.
Bashful takes another step.
Then another.
His breathing slows.
His shoulders lower a little.
And just when the world seems still enough to hold a thought—
The wind changes.
A calm voice echoes from above.
Voice: You carry confusion in your steps.
Bashful looks up.
On a floating rock platform sits a serene glowing figure—a fairy with flowing robes and an aura of peaceful energy radiating from him.
He appears completely unbothered by gravity, weather, or anything else that usually ruins Bashful’s day.
Fairy Guru: I am the mountain’s teacher. You seek clarity.
Bashful: I just... wanted to get away from everything.
The fairy closes his eyes gently, as though he has heard this story a thousand times before.
Fairy Guru: Then you carry everything with you.
Bashful shifts uncomfortably, looking down at the kitten, then at his feet, then anywhere except his face.
He gives a tiny embarrassed shrug.
Bashful: Yeah... that sounds about right.
The fairy smiles in a soft, knowing way.
[Scene: Mountain meditation space, behind a waterfall]
Soon Bashful is in his yoga clothes from earlier, though they look even more ridiculous in the crisp mountain air.
He is trying to balance in a tree pose while, wobbling slightly but doing his best.
The kitten sits nearby, perfectly still.
Almost too still.
Bashful notices but assumes it is being calm in a very noble way.
Fairy Guru: Good. Now breathe.
Bashful: Okay...
Fairy Guru: Inhale.
Bashful inhales.
Fairy Guru: Exhale.
Bashful exhales.
The fairy circles him slowly, speaking with quiet certainty.
Fairy Guru: Love is not ownership.
Bashful: ...Oh.
Fairy Guru: But you may love someone... even when they choose another path.
Bashful’s face softens.
He looks down at his hands, then away toward the distant horizon.
Bashful: So... I can still care about Queen Delightful?
Fairy Guru: Yes.
Bashful: Even if she’s marrying Starchbottom?
Fairy Guru: Yes.
Fairy Guru: Without letting sorrow define you.
Bashful sits down slowly in a lotus position, letting the lesson sink in.
For the first time, he actually looks calm.
Not numb.
Not panicked.
Not rehearsing disaster.
Just calm.
Bashful: That feels... nice.
The kitten hops into his lap and curls up immediately against his stomach, purring softly.
Bashful strokes its fur with careful fingers, as if the small warmth in his lap has anchored something in him that was drifting loose 2 days ago.
[Quick montage]
After 5 days of yoga, stillness, breathing taught by the fairy, Bashful does not feel depressed and jealous anymore.
He feels quieter.
Lighter.
More like himself.
[Suddenly — distant rumble]
A faint plume of smoke rises on the horizon.
At first it is small.
Almost easy to ignore.
But then it rises again, darker this time.
Bashful, now in a headstand pose (even if it made him dizzy), sees it and his eyes snap open.
Bashful: ...Jollywood?
The peaceful moment shatters instantly.
He immediately loses balance and falls over on his back.
Bashful: Something’s wrong!
The fairy’s voice becomes firmer, though still calm.
Fairy Guru: Do not run from the peace you just found.
Bashful hesitates.
Another plume of smoke rises.
His expression changes from confusion to alarm.
Bashful: FLOOM! I can’t just sit here!!
He grabs his staff and regular clothes, then hurriedly pulls on his shoes.
The kitten watches him, ears perked, alert now in a way it has not been before.
Fairy Guru: If you forget this lesson, you may lose yourself chasing what might have been!
Bashful pauses for half a second.
He looks back at him.
He looks at the mountain.
He looks at the smoke.
Then he winces.
Bashful: I’ll remember it later!
And before the fairy can say anything else, Bashful jumps on the mountain’s slope, sliding down it at full speed.
The kitten immediately leaps onto his shoulder again, completely unbothered by the sudden sprint.
[Scene: Mountain peak — fading voice of the fairy]
Fairy Guru: ...Then you will return to yourself only when you are ready.
His voice fades into the mountain wind.
[Final shot]
Bashful races toward Jollywood, the glowing kitten riding along on his shoulder.
He does not know the kitten is secretly being tracked by the Glooms.
He does not know the kitten is being used as part of a much larger plan.
And he certainly does not know that his return is happening at the worst possible time.
Behind him, the mountain remains still.
Ahead of him, smoke rises higher.
And somewhere in the growing chaos, everything is about to collide.
[Cuts to black]
Announcer: We’ll be right back to the 7D, on Disney XD!

Notes: PLOT TWIST! The kitten Bashful meets isn’t evil—it was used by Hildy as a distraction, but it imprints on him and becomes his loyal emotional-support companion.
• The episode Cat on a Hot Grim Roof is considered non-canon (in this interpretation) to make their first meeting more meaningful.
• Hildy magically teleported the kitten into a thorny bush and where Bashful was to throw him off-course (unintentionally confusing it)
The Royal Wedding Crisis (the 7D fanfic)
Chapter 2: The Road Away from Jollywood
The morning after the disastrous “yoga session,” the cottage of The 7D feels strangely still.
No pacing. No shouting. No dramatic collapses onto furniture.
Just silence… the kind that feels heavier than noise.
Inside, the other dwarfs sit around the breakfast table, all noticing the same missing presence.
[Scene: The 7D cottage — morning]
Happy: I think I made it worse.
Grumpy: He’s even grumpier than me.
Doc: Statistically speaking, emotional distress can reach critical levels if not properly treated.
Sneezy: Or… he just needed five minutes alone.
Sleepy: Or five hours…
Sleepy immediately falls forward onto the table and snores softly.
A long pause.
Then Happy slowly stands and walks toward the front door.
Something is off.
By the threshold lies a small, carefully folded light-green note.
Happy picks it up.
[Close-up: Note from Bashful]
“I need to find myself… somewhere far away from Jollywood. Don’t worry about me. I’ll be back before the wedding ceremony.” — Bashful
A beat of silence falls over the room.
Happy: He… left?
Doc quietly folds the note back up, Grumpy looks concerned without admitting it, and Dopey silently glances toward Bashful's empty chair.
Sleepy: Did he take a nap before leaving?
Grumpy: No, Sleepy. He ran off on a journey.
Happy looks down at the note again, suddenly less cheerful.
Happy: He didn’t even say goodbye…
Doc: He’ll be back, Happy. Now come on, let’s get prepared for the wedding.
[Scene: Outside Jollywood — winding forest path]
The forest outside Jollywood stretches long and quiet, sunlight filtering through trees like soft gold threads.
Bashful walks alone.
No frantic pacing. No spiraling. No yelling into pillows.
Just footsteps.
Slow. Uneven. Real.
He’s wearing his regular clothes, a red poncho, and is carrying a swirly wooden walking stick. It looks slightly too fancy for someone trying to “find himself,” but somehow it fits anyway.
For once… he is not falling apart.
He is just thinking, and looks down at a map that leads to a mystical fairy guru.
Bashful (to himself): I can’t stay there. Not with the wedding coming. I need to figure out who I am… without her.
He pauses, looking back.
In the distance, Jollywood glows faintly—bright, warm, and impossibly far away.
Then he turns forward again.
Bashful: Okay… step one of self-discovery… don’t panic.
He immediately panics anyway.
Bashful: Okay—new step—panic less loudly.
He adjusts his poncho, takes a breath, and keeps walking.
Every step feels slightly heavier… but also a little more his own.
Bashful: Maybe I’ll find out I’m someone strong. Someone calm. Someone who doesn’t fall apart over royal weddings…
He steps on a twig.
It snaps loudly.
Bashful: Aah! …okay, maybe not calm.
But he keeps walking anyway.
[Scene: Deep beneath Jollywood — The Glooms’ Lair]
Far below the cheerful kingdom, the air is colder, heavier, and permanently tinted with dramatic lighting.
Something far less emotional—but far more dangerous—is brewing.
Hildy Gloom paces excitedly across a stone floor while Grim Gloom studies a bubbling cauldron. Inside it swirl distorted visions of Jollywood: the castle, the wedding banners, the celebration.
All of it… waiting.
Hildy: Did you hear, Grim? The Queen is getting married!
Grim: "Yes! Weddings are distracting! Everybody's busy smiling and dancing and... weddinging."
Hildy: "You mean getting married."
Grim: That's what I said.
Hildy: (sarcastically) Of course you did! Once she’s distracted as a bride… we swoop in and take over Jollywood!
She spins dramatically, arms wide.
Hildy: I’ll be Queen! You’ll be King! We’ll finally rule everything!
Grim: And then everybody will be gloomy! Which is much easier than being cheerful. Cheerful takes effort.
Hildy: For most people, perhaps.
She leans over the table, grinning at the map of Jollywood spread out before them.
[Scene: Strategy table — The Glooms’ planning chamber]
Grim lifts a clawed hand and sprinkles dark magic dust over the map.
It spreads instantly like ink bleeding into paper—covering streets, the castle, the celebration routes.
Grim: If everybody's at the wedding, then nobody's guarding all the other places!
Hildy: Exactly.
Grim: I knew that.
Hildy: And once we seize the castle… Queen Delightful and her shiny little fiancé won’t stand a chance.
She taps the map right over the palace with a sharp nail.
A soft crackle of dark magic responds.
Hildy: But first… we make sure nothing ruins our timing.
Grim: The dwarfs? They're always ruining everything.
Hildy: Especially the dwarfs.
A slow, satisfied silence follows.
Then Grim smiles faintly.
Grim: Let them have their silly wedding.
Hildy: For now.
Grim: Yes. For now. Then we'll have a much better celebration.
Hildy: A celebration of gloom.
Grim: Exactly! Those are the best kind.
[Cut back: Forest path]
Bashful walks further now.
The trees grow thicker. The air quieter.
But inside him… things are not quiet at all.
Bashful: Self-discovery, huh? Maybe this journey will be worth it…
He stops walking again.
Stares at the ground.
A long pause.
Bashful: …Probably not.
He sighs.
Then, more gently this time—
He keeps walking anyway.
And somewhere between heartbreak and ambition, two very different journeys begin to unfold:
One dwarf trying to find who he is…
And two villains preparing to take everything else away from everyone who isn’t looking.
And neither path… is anywhere near finished.

The Royal Wedding Crisis (the 7D fanfic)
Intro: I miss the 7D series and it sucks that Disney didn’t give it a 3rd season!!! (I add the cancellation to what I call the Disney TVA Massacre) Sooo… I wrote a fanfic that picks up right after season 2 and it’s about my fav dwarf, Bashful, and his turmoil with his feelings for Queen Delightful.
For all you 7D lovers, enjoy the show!
Chapter 1: A Matrimonial Announcement and Extreme Heartbreak
Throughout the kingdom of Jollywood, exciting news spreads like wildfire: Lord Starchbottom officially proposed to Queen Delightful last night, and the royal wedding is happening next week! The townspeople celebrate in the streets, decorations begin appearing everywhere, and nearly everyone in the kingdom is celebrating their announcement.
Well... almost everyone.
Inside the cottage of The 7D, the dwarfs are enjoying breakfast when suddenly the front door bursts open and a royal messenger storms inside carrying a giant golden scroll.
[Scene: The 7D cottage – morning]
Royal Messenger: Hear ye! Hear ye! By royal decree of Her Majesty, Queen Delightful, it is my honor to announce that she and Lord Starchbottom are officially engaged to be married next week!
The messenger blows a trumpet so loud it makes the breakfast plates vibrate.
Happy: A wedding?! That’s amazing!!
Dopey: excited whistling
Doc: Fascinating! A royal matrimonial ceremony!
Grumpy: Hmph. Better be free cake.
Sneezy: And not too many AHHH-CHOOO!!! *sniff flowers.
Everyone reacts excitedly—except Bashful, who is in complete shock.
Bashful: ...W-what?
A dramatic zoom locks onto Bashful’s face as the celebration continues behind him.
Royal Messenger: The entire kingdom is invited to attend the joyous occasion!
He exits with a flourish.
The 6D were happily discussing about the wedding.
Bashful: (thinking) Queen Delightful is marrying... Starchbottom?!
He swallows hard.
Bashful had a crush on Queen Delightful for a long time—quietly, awkwardly, and completely hidden behind layers of shyness. Hearing the news hits him like a collapsing castle tower.
At first, he tries to stay calm (by smiling)
Bashful suddenly stands up too fast, knocking his chair back.
Silence drops instantly.
Bashful: That’s really great! Good for them! Umm.. I’ll be right back. (walk upstairs and closes the latch door gently)
Happy: Wow, I never thought Bash would be happy about their wedding. Given his past with Queen Delightful.
Meanwhile, in the upstairs bedroom
Bashful: I am calm. I am fine. I am NOT jealous.
His smile quickly fades as he immediately turns around and angrily kicks the wall.
Bashful: STUPID WEDDING!!!
THUNK! A beat passes.
His eyes widen.
Bashful: ...OWW!!
He immediately hops around in circles, clutching his foot.
Bashful: Very bad idea! Very bad idea!
He removes his shoe and stares at his red, throbbing left foot like it personally betrayed him.
Bashful: (voice cracking as he looks at the audience) Okay... new information...
He takes a dramatic inhale.
Bashful: I am EXTREMELY jealous!!
He shoves his shoe back on and stomps toward the stairs, only to remember his injured foot.
Bashful: Ow! Owie! Ow! Why did I kick the wall?! The wall didn't even do anything!
He slowly limps downstairs, dragging his left foot.
Bashful: WHY HIM?! He looks like he ironed his personality! IT'S SO UNFAIR!
Grumpy: (dryly) And he's gone.
Bashful: He's got fancy clothes, fancy hair, a fancy smile and now a fancy wife!
Grumpy: You're acting like a lovesick loon.
Bashful: I AM a lovesick loon! (Plops on the couch, groaning because of the pain in his left foot)
Doc: That’s good, Bashful. Self-awareness is the first step toward recovery.
Bashful: Recovery from what?!
Doc: From you kicking the wall.
Dopey quickly rushes off to the Arctic (don’t ask). Moments later, he returns carrying an ice pack nearly half his size.
Dopey: worried whistling (Translation: For your foot.)
Bashful: Thanks, Dopey.
He presses the ice pack against his foot.
Bashful: ...still jealous, though.
Grumpy: We figured.
Bashful: OWW!!
For the next two hours, Bashful cycled through every stage of heartbreak. He paced, muttered, threw his framed picture of Queen Delightful out the window, immediately regretted it, ran outside to gather the broken pieces, and spent the next twenty minutes trying to glue it back together.
Bashful: I should be supportive… I should be happy… I should be mature…
He suddenly grabs a pillow.
Bashful: BUT WHY STARCHBOTTOM?!
He screams into the pillow again and collapses onto the couch like a defeated balloon.
Bashful: (sobbing) My life is over!
Confessional cam shows Happy and Grumpy sitting on the couch
Happy: Poor Bashie was freaking out more than when I didn’t tell Grumpy I ate his cheese wheel.
Grumpy: Hang on a sec—
Happy: (covers Grumpy’s mouth) But I had the perfect solution.
Grumpy: I hoped it was something other than singing. Now, what was that about eating my cheese wheel?
Happy: Umm… (quickly runs away)
After several minutes of emotional turbulence, Happy steps forward with determination.
Happy: Okay. I got it. This is stress overload. He needs something calming.
Bashful turns his head and it reveals his eyes being red from crying so much.
Bashful: (heavily breathing) I don’t need calming! I need answers! I need—
Happy: Yoga.
Record scratch.
Bashful: Yo…ga?
Happy: Yep! Breathing, stretching, peaceful thoughts. It’ll help your mind slow down!
Bashful: I hope it’s relaxing.
Sleepy: (overhears) So it’s like, naptime.
Doc: Uh, he didn’t mean it like tha—
Sleepy immediately grabs a pillow, blanket, and Mr. Hicklepips.
Sleepy: Sign me up!
[Scene: Living room — yoga setup]
The next day, Happy quickly rearranges the living room into a calming space: mats neatly placed, soft lighting, and peaceful music playing.
Only three participants remain:
Bashful (emotionally volatile participant)
Sleepy (unofficially pre-sleeping participant)
Happy (enthusiastic instructor)
Bashful reluctantly shuffled in wearing a lime-green tank top with "Be Brave" across the front and loose olive-gray lounge pants. Barefoot, he awkwardly tried to cover his exposed belly, his left toes still slightly red from yesterday's disastrous encounter with the wall.
Bashful: Why does this even exist?!
Happy steps in, wearing a short-sleeved yellow shirt with a red flower smiley symbol, dark brown pants and is also barefoot, practically vibrating with positivity.
Happy: Welcome to yoga class, everybody! I’m your instructor and I will be guiding you on a magical journey.
Sleepy is already lying on his mat before instruction begins.
Sleepy: (yawning) Is it over yet?
Happy: We haven’t started yet.
Sleepy: Perfect timing.
Sleepy immediately falls asleep.
Happy: Okay! First step: breathing!
Happy: Inhale positivity…
They inhale.
Happy: Exhale negativity!
Happy exhales calmly.
Bashful tries—but immediately trembles instead of relaxing with his face turning bright red.
Bashful: I can’t exhale negativity when Queen Delightful is marrying STARCHBOTTOM!!
The emotional force of the statement causes a gust of wind across the room.
Sleepy, still asleep, slowly slides backward across his mat.*
Sleepy: Wheeeee…
He bumps into the wall and continues snoring.
Happy: Okay! That was… a strong feeling!
Bashful: (sadly) It's not a feeling, it's a CRISIS!! I've been in love with her for years and always fainted around her.
Happy gently steps closer, trying to guide him.
Happy: Okay, Bashful… try again, but slower. Think peaceful thoughts.
Bashful: I am thinking peaceful thoughts!
Bashful: …and then Starchbottom shows up inside them.
Happy: That’s… not ideal.
Sleepy rolls slightly in his sleep.
Sleepy: I think I’m doing yoga correctly…
Happy: That’s not how it works.
Sleepy: Then why am I nailing it?
Bashful sits in a lotus position, trying again, trembling slightly.
Bashful: Inhale… exhale… don’t think about weddings… don’t think about Starchbottom… don’t think about—
Bashful: I’M THINKING ABOUT IT AGAIN!!
He flops backward onto his mat in defeat.
Happy kneels beside him, still upbeat but slightly more careful now.
Happy: Okay… maybe yoga isn’t about stopping thoughts.
Bashful: Then what is it about? Me being miserable with them?!
Happy: Learning to sit with them… without exploding.
Beat.
Bashful: (defeated) I don't know if I can.
Sleepy snores approvingly.
Grumpy: (offscreen) Someone nail Sleepy to the floor before the next outburst.
Prologue/Promo Next Chapter
Notes: Bashful’s crush on Queen Delightful was revealed in Season 1, Episode 4B "The Big Bash". In all of his main roles, he seems to show his crush on Delightful and often breaks character. In my opinion, Bashful got a little flanderized in season 2 when his crush for Queen Delightful kinda turned into an obsession. Writer Shea Fontana, revealed that future episodes would have explored this storyline further (if the show wasn’t CANCELLED😡). So I wanted to properly conclude it. But I won’t let our silly, strange hiding man suffer the entire time.
Prologue for my 7D fanfic:
The scene opens up with a shot of Jollywood at night. In the cottage of the 7D, everyone was asleep, and Bashful was dreaming about him being with Queen Delightful. And in the dream sequence, Queen Delightful smiles warmly at him beneath a bright blue sky. Bashful blushes from ear to ear. “I knew you loved me too.” he says in his sleep.
The dream slowly fades to the Castle of Jollywood, the throne room was quiet that night.
White moonlight streamed through the stained-glass windows as Queen Delightful sat upon her throne, reviewing royal papers, while Sir Yipsalot was sleeping on his royal pillow. The large doors slowly opened, and Lord Starchbottom stepped inside alone.
He looked unusually nervous.
“Lord Starchbottom?” the queen asked with a gentle smile. “Is something wrong?”
“Yes, Your Majesty,” he replied, his voice slightly shaky. “There’s… something important I’ve been meaning to tell you.”
The queen carefully set her papers aside.
“You have my attention,” she said warmly.
For a moment, Starchbottom simply stood there, struggling to find the right words. Then he took a deep breath and stepped closer to the throne.
He reached into his coat and pulled out a small velvet box.
"You've ruled Jollywood with kindness."
"You've given hope to everyone who calls this kingdom home..."
"...including me."
Then, before he could lose his nerve, he lowered himself onto one knee and opened the box, revealing a sparkling ruby ring.
Sir Yipsalot's ears suddenly perk up, and lifts his head.
“And so, before I lose my courage I must ask… Queen Delightful, will you marry me?”
For a moment, the throne room was completely silent. Sir Yipsalot had his mouth agape.
Queen Delightful is shocked, putting her hands over her mouth and a white text fades in saying, To Be Continued…

Notes: This is a post-credits sequence right after A Sneeze in Time and kicks off Season 3, but the premiere starts in February 2017.
