Om Mantra Mandala
Hand Painted Tibetan Thangka From Nepal 75/75cm Canvas Cotton Tibetan Using Tibetan Colors
What is om? Om refers to Atman (soul, self within) and Brahman (ultimate reality, entirety of the universe, truth, divine, supreme spirit, cosmic principles, knowledge). The syllable is often found at the beginning and the end of chapters in the Vedas, the Upanishads, and other Hindu texts.
Meaning Of OM Mane Padme Hum? Is the six-syllabled Sanskrit Mantra particularly associated with the four-armed Shadakshari form of Avalokiteshvara , the bodhisattva of compassion. It first appeared in the Mahayana Karandavyuhasutra where it is also referred to as the Sadaksara (six syllabled) and the Paramahrdaya or “innermost heart” of Avalokiteshvara In this text the mantra is seen as condensed form of all the Buddhist teachings.
In Tibetan Buddhism, this is the most ubiquitous mantra and the most popular form of religious practice, performed by laypersons and monastics alike. It is also an ever present feature of the landscape, commonly carved onto rocks, known as mani stones, painted into the sides of hills or else it is written on prayer flags and prayer wheels.

Anyone use Tumblr as a way to write and blog anymore? Maybe the days of writing and blogging as I know it are long over. I'm guess I'm old now.
For some reason, I feel the urge to write and blog again. Micro blogging maybe? Short posts about whatever is on my mind that I can throw up quickly, like a rapid fire journaling.
Hey.
To see the world, things dangerous to come to, to see behind walls, draw closer, to find each other and to feel. That is the purpose of life.

Abandon the false and you are free of pain; truth makes happy, truth liberates.”
― Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj
“If you can find a moment to sit, wherever you are, stay there and enjoy doing nothing. Just enjoy your in-breath and out-breath. Don’t allow yourself to be carried away by your thinking, worries, or projects. Just sit there and enjoy doing nothing; enjoy your breathing and the fact that you are alive and that you have twenty minutes or half an hour to enjoy doing nothing. This is very healing, transforming, and nourishing.”
— Thich Nhat Hanh.
“Culture is a perversion. It fetishizes objects, creates consumer mania, it preaches endless forms of false happiness, endless forms of false understanding in the form of squirrelly religions and silly cults. It invites people to diminish themselves and dehumanize themselves by behaving like machines.”
— Terence McKenna

Don't be a dick.
Let it go.
Forgive yourself for not knowing what you didn’t know before you learned it.

“You live in the imaginary prison of mind; a world of your own creation. To see this is the dawn of freedom. Nisargadatta Maharaj”
