pt 2 (kind of, I guess)

I confess I have been writing, though not for this fandom. I’m sure many of us know the juggle of reading for different fandoms and writing too. It’s so hard! Ugh. I have been dipping my toes in writing for Game of Thrones (eye roll and sigh, yes I’ve been sucked in too). I’ve got an ao3 account and written a couple things... but it truly depends what pairing you’re into. If any of you are fans of that, in addition to my writing, feel free to message me.

I don’t even know what to title this, I’m just happy.

Wow wow wow. I have to thank you all so much. I ventured onto my ffnet account for the first time in a while and was so blown away by something I saw. 34,925 views of “To Love Again”. 34,925. I am so happy that people enjoyed that story and so incredibly thankful that my writing was read to such a degree. 

That story was really the launching of me shipping Brary full on, me writing Brary fanfiction, and me connecting with the rest of you shippers. Thank you to all here that read that story (whether it was several years ago or recently). While I’m glad to say that my writing has since improved... I look back on that story with pride and gratitude for what I was able to do then. 

Thank you thank you. I’m sure we all miss the plethora of fics that used to get uploaded. I know that it’s not as active as it was, in part I guess because the show is now over. I’m sorry that I’ve added to that.

It’s not that I don’t ship them anymore, because I do. I fucking do. I guess there’s just something more when your show is still going and your otp still has a chance or there’s at least more current inspiration to draw from. Maybe? I miss my babes on screen. But I still love them and cherish the works I’ve read about them. 

I know we haven’t stopped shipping them and that we’ll keep reading and writing, even if at a snail pace. I still have ideas. I have canon-divergence and modern AU ideas. I have several drafts on here that I’m eager to finish at some point.

I just wanted to say a big thank you and that I haven’t forgotten. Thanks!
