im gonna make a more detailed post of how elwood came to fame but he began as an "assistant" aerobics instructor for television ( chosen for his physique , as he seemed television material ) & eventually was hired to do commercials , both voicing & starring ( including pepsi ) & from there , is where he sought the opportunity to perform his works !

to sum up who elwood is : he comes from a planet where they’re built on music , as it has brought them peace thousands of years ago & have stictly followed ancient traditions , not welcoming any changes . the laws over there are firm & carefully crafted to never have the peace disturbed , all by a ruler whose views are despicable . one law being that homosexuality is prohibited so he had to live two lives in order to keep his secret hidden . . . so eventually he launched himself into space & fell to earth where he freely conquered his dream to freely write different tunes & not ever pull himself back . 

he’s an alien & also a mutant with the ability to manipulate noise into projecting light as well as controlling the frequencies / vibrations . his spieces are known to also glow so . . boom
