If my mom asks me one more time when I’m popping out a kid, there’s high likelihood I’m going to end up as the star of the new Crime TV show “daughters who kill”. To ease her off for a few months I’m going to need someone in Lima to lend me their child this Sunday. They will be returned in one piece and bribed significantly with energy drinks and rice kirspy treats (or whatever kids eat these days).

LIZZIE: I felt the same, if I'm honest. Everyone's dramas are kind coming back? It feels like high school all over again.

LIZZIE: This week has been a lot, tbh. But at least I'M BACK TO NORMAL HOURS.

CARMEN: It feels like we are stuck in our own personal reality show. I kind of love it though.

CARMEN: God what are your normal hours if work keeps you that busy? Ive been so spoiled to make my own hours all these years.

Jesse’s own attention waned from his wife’s figure to making sure the snacks and drinks were a plenty. He was proud, all the framed playbills, and portraits on the walls were a testament to the life Jesse was incredibly proud of. Jesse looked over a few of the faces and slowly poured a glass of punch for himself. Something he thought might be cute into order to get people chatting, it didn’t taste amazing, but it was pretty strong. He’s tried the whole pinterest thing, mostly looking at deocr ideas for the new house – and maybe kids bedroom ideas, but the punch recipe was appreciated.  It was weird, he didn’t have many friends in Lima, and aside from the little night at the bar, he barely socialized with most of these people, but — it was a time for new things, right? Time to settle in, make friends, and plan for the future.  He paused and smiled, noticing a guest without a drink.  “did you want something? I can grab you a punch, there’s a few open bottles of wine too –.”

When Carmen heard there was a housewarming party, she knew she couldn’t not come. No it wasn’t the parties she was use to but it was the closest she could get. Besides, who knows all the interesting things that she could watch go down. So far so good but at least she’d be there if anything changed. 

After awhile of mingling she parted from a group of people in hopes to find a drink. Honestly surprised she didn’t have one already. But in almost perfect timing she heard a voice. “I actually do and a drink is exactly what I wanted. I’ll take either, which do you prefer?” She asked, her signature charming smile growing on her face. “Nice little gathering you have here too.”

a literal angel.

It’s like a lightning strike that stopped Andrea in her tracks when she saw a literal angel. Clearly, nobody can look that perfect without having sold their soul to some entity. That’s another question that she was going to ask if this angel is willing to talk to her. But first, Andrea is going to try her luck at striking up a conversation.

“I didn’t know I can find heaven in the middle of a town like Lima,” Andrea’s alcohol addled mind tried its best to come up with something classy to say but combined with being dumbstruck with this angel’s beauty and aura, Andrea was basically reduced to a 12 year old boy with his first crush.

“Hi,” She said with a shy smile and wave when the woman turned to look at her. “I’m Andrea, I promise when I get a hold of my braincell, I’ll use them all on you.”

A smirk couldn’t help but grow on her lips when she heard the woman speak. She heard this compliments quite often but it doesn’t mean she didn’t mind hearing them. When she turned her attention to where she heard the voice coming from one of her eyebrows rose. It was even better to hear those compliments from beautiful woman. 

“Well hello to you too.” A charming tone ringing in Carmen’s voice as she waved back at the her. “Andrea, a gorgeous name for a gorgeous woman.” She took a sip of her drink before continuing. “And what exactly do you plan on doing with them? Color me curious.”

I’m feeling incredibly special. What else is new? Well, I’m being a better family member. Faced some recent tragedies within my family with my abuela passing, so I’m focusing on that. Other than that, just trying to catch up with as many of my other friends as possible. One thing I do miss being apart of was Glee Club, as much as I swore I would never say that. So, I may have to take up going to the theatre here soon or even crash Berry’s choir room as she takes over being the new director. Tell me about yourself, anything new going on in your world?

Don’t I know that too well. The weight of the crown is something that my head can support perfectly. I almost miss being in my prime, but then I remember just how unhappy I was. The feeling of being a bad bitch though? Nothing could really top that. Please, I’m not worthy of being your favorite bartender! Although I will gladly take that title.

I am sorry for your loss, I can’t imagine how terrible that must have been. But it’s good to hear you have your family with you. That can really make all the difference. I wouldn’t be able to get through a lot if I didn’t have my mother. Missing the arts huh? That’s fair. Now crashing the choir room would be an amusing sight for sure. Well still thriving in the fashion world, missing modeling in the city but I can get by with just instagram posts for now. But I am in the process of making my online boutique into a store. Almost like a test run of sorts. It is very time consuming but glad to be back home with my mom. 

Well if you’re happier now then I would think you are in your prime now. When you’re the happiest is when you’re thriving. It is amazing isn’t it? It is nice to have the power and know how great you are. Please take it, it takes a lot to be a favorite of mine.

It definitely has. I just wish that like… IDK, anyone besides my family could see that. I’ve kind of given up on that dream, though. I think I’ve gotta just settle for everyone treating me like I’m the same old Puck. Just because some of them haven’t grown up, it doesn’t mean I’m the same. 

Honestly, after having kids, I’ve just felt even more disconnected to my dad than I did before. I don’t understand how someone can look at their baby and not love them more than anything in the world. Like, I get that I was kind of a little shit, but still, you know?

You shouldn’t need to settle for treatment like that though. It isn’t your problem that people can’t get over the past. Surround yourself by people that will just appreciate who you are now. 

Well that and knowing they have a kid and not giving enough of a shit to see them. But people will always suck, that’s just how the world is. But at least you are taking that experience and becoming a better person than he could ever be.
