Influenster - Violet VoxBox
This is gonna be a mash-up: first impressions, how it performed & overall review. ^_^ Enjoy!

-Now let's get on the the reviews..
Goody Athletique Headbands: retails for $6.00
First Impressions: I don't wear headbands...they just don't tend to stay on my head for whatever reason, so as soon as I saw this I was a little wary.. It's a pretty charcoal gray color, nice-soft fabric, sturdy velcro on the strap..
Performance: It fit pretty nice, but after about 10 minutes I could feel it shifting on my head. I even readjusted the velcro strap, tighter & then looser, to see what way would fit best. Same result.
Overall Review: My mom really liked it, so she'll probably borrow it.. I can't say I would buy myself another one. As I don't wear them, but on very rare occasion it will be nice to have a well made headband for times when one is needed: putting on make-up, washing my face, sports? but maybe not since it seems to slip off me.
Sally Hansen New Triple Shine Nail Color: retails for $4.99
First Impressions: IT'S SO PRETTY!!! and it had a very clever name! I got #330 Fanta-sea.. I'm just glad it wasn't orange. REALLY hoping it is as pigmented as the bottle makes it seem. Unnecessary cap for the top of the bottle..just a waist of plastic? How much could this company have saved if it didn't have this little bit of useless plastic?
Performance: I love the wide brush!! >_< the polish...SUCKS!! VERY VERY SHEER...mostly just glitter. and now to wait for this to dry to layer more coats until I get a decent coverage... 2nd coat, looks kinda the same. 3rd coat, alright this is looking a little better.. 4th coat, I was fully satisfied this is as good it was going to get and I really like the final result.
Overall Review: I have no idea how the solid color polishes perform... After 3 to 4 coats it really liked the overall affect it had. And even though it is a glitter polish the finish is VERY smooth and nice. I didn't even feel the need to put on a top coat. It lasted quite a while, very impressed. Would buy again.
SOYJOY: retails for $0.99
First Impressions: I don't do soy or cranberry (spoiler alert: my flavor was cranberry). I pass this one off to my mom since she doesn't mind soy & really enjoys cranberry.
Performance: My mom's review is "very dry, crumbly, and not tasty at all. the only good part is the pieces of cranberry." Nuff said..
Overall Review: I might try the banana nut, no promises though. Since my mom is the one who actually tried it, she said she would not buy it.
Goody QuikStyle: retails for $12.99
First Impressions: This things looks weird.. It helps dry hair!? SWEET! ..It still looks really, really weird... *after reading the entire packaging* ..What!? I didn't sign up for a tamagotchi! I gotta wash & clean this thing? ugh..
Performance: It brushed my hair really nice. *waits for hair to dry after brushing it wet and then brushing it damp* (I have thick, curly, frizzy hair..) I was expecting no frizz and a smoother look to my curly hair.. NOPE! It literally looked like I took the time to blow-dry my hair straight.. If I was going for that then 'YAY!'..but...no. I even got asked if I had straightened my hair with a straightener..
Overall Review: I'll use it has a regular brush, before the shower or if I'm just putting it up in a pony tail. And I'll use it if I'm planning on straightening my hair and this will speed up the process. Otherwise, nope. Not gonna use for everyday. Would not buy.
