THE KENNEDY’S HAD MARILYN MONROE KILLED

For the first post of my conspiracy theory series, I thought I would analyze my very favorite conspiracy theory. Let me know what you guys think, and if you have any suggestions about what theory I should analyze next. Enjoy! (:

On the night of August 5, 1962, famous actress Marilyn Monroe’s housekeeper, Eunice Murray, noticed her boss’ bedroom light was still on well after the actress had turned in for the night. After trying to get Monroe to open the door for almost three hours, Murray called Marilyn’s psychiatrist, Dr. Ralph Greenson. This call was placed at around 2:30 AM. Dr. Greenson arrived at the house approximately thirty minutes later. Once he got there, Dr. Greenson was said to have seen Monroe lying facedown in her bed through the bedroom window. He supposedly banged on the actress’ door for another thirty minutes, before going outside, busting out her window, and climbing through. He found Monroe lying nude in her bed with a telephone in one of her hands. Empty bottles of anti-depressants were scattered about the room, as well. After receiving confirmation that Marilyn was definitely deceased, Dr. Greenson phoned her physician, Dr. Hyman Engelberg. He arrived at the house on Fifth Helena Drive and confirmed her death at 3:50 AM. Thirty-five minutes later, the three of them notified the Los Angeles Police Department. 

After an extremely short investigation by the LAPD, it was concluded that her death was caused by a “self-administered overdose of sedative drugs and that the mode of death is probable suicide”. She was thirty-six years old.

I first want to say THERE ARE SO MANY RED FLAGS THAT GO OFF IN MY HEAD WHEN I TELL THIS STORY. 

1. Why did Eunice Murray call Marilyn’s psychiatrist, instead of calling the police/ambulance!?

From what I understand, Marilyn battled severe depression in her last months. I get that she was extremely dependent and always under the care of Dr. Greenson, but if I lived with someone who was a huge suicide risk, and they locked themselves in a room for hours and would not respond to me, I do not think my first instinct would be to call their psychiatrist. Maybe I would call the psychiatrist after 911??? I don’t know. Maybe that’s just me.

2. When Dr. Greenson discovered Marilyn’s body, WHY DID HE NOT CALL THE POLICE/AMBULANCE!?

This dude obviously has some medical training since he is a psychiatrist. Unless he’s literally just stupid, he could have checked for a pulse himself, and then called emergency services-- BUT NO. Instead of calling an ambulance to take her to a hospital, he calls her physician that prescribed her all of the pills laying everywhere. 

3. Why did these three wait so long to call the police?

She was supposedly confirmed dead by Dr. Engelberg at around 3:50 AM, BUT THEY WAITED THIRTY-FIVE MINUTES to call the LAPD?? The three people at the house claimed they had to get permission from 20th Century Fox, who was filming Monroes’s current movie, before the police could be involved. I am just saying, if I was in the presence of a dead movie star, I would not think of her legal obligations before calling the police.

That’s just a few of the sketchy things surrounding the people in the house. The circumstances of Marilyn’s death are SO weird and still have not been totally explained. 

To begin with, there were pill bottles littered all over the room, but there was no evidence of a glass of water or any kind of beverage in Marilyn’s bedroom. I don’t understand how someone could take enough pills to kill themselves without drinking anything because your throat would get so dry, you would begin choking. This obviously did not happen to Marilyn because there was no obstruction of her airway, and she didn’t choke to death. On top of that, there was no pill residue found in her stomach, which means she would have had to been injected with these drugs. She obviously was not shooting up the barbiturates herself because there were never any syringes found on her property. 

There was also very little testing done on her body. You would think a star of her caliber would have all the testing in the world done on her because the public absolutely loved her and wanted to know how she died. However, the toxicologist never performed the tests that would have told us how the drugs entered the star’s body. 

So why do I and so many other people think the Kennedy’s had Marilyn killed?

There is a ton of reasons I think they had her killed. One being, she was rumored to have been planning to hold a press conference and write a book about her affairs with John F. Kennedy and Robert Kennedy. Many people had speculated she was going to expose what she knew of the Kennedy’s relationships to the underground Mafia operations in Los Angeles, which obviously would have been detrimental to the Kennedy family’s perfect image. Robert Kennedy, who was the US Attorney General at this time, just happened to be in LA the day before and of her death. Eunice Murray later reported that he called the star on August 4.

Also shortly after the events of August 5, Eunice Murray fled the United States for Europe. Many say she was not spotted at Marilyn’s memorial service, which is pretty weird considering she lived with the celebrity, and it was her boss. 

Personally, I just think the Kennedy’s are a shady bunch. The FBI just released a ton of the JFK files that have been top secret since his death. Even though these deal more with his assassination and things like that, there could possibly be more files come out later that deal with his affairs and Mafia connections. I think we often look at the Kennedy’s through rose-colored glasses, so many people are quick to overlook this theory.

Lastly, I just want to say IT IS OKAY if you do not believe this theory!! It’s just a theory, and it’s fun to speculate and try to make sense of things we do not know the absolute truth about.
